But she knew the time has come for the return of Nightmare moon. But the Summer Sun Celebration was coming and she had to keep pony's happy and not frighten then. Thus our tale begins.... A light purple unicorn is reading a book on the grass reading. The book she is reading is Canterlot history about the tale of the three gods. As she reads she comes across the closing verse. "The Golden alicorn god of hearts flew into the distance leaving the goddess of the sun. The two gazed at the moon where the once goddess of the moon laid trapped. As they part ways a riddle is formed through out there depart. "Three hearts, one of gold, one of night, one of fire. three together control all. one gets hotter while the other grows cold. Nightmares will haunt a truth shall be seen. The true marks of friendship will be seen" The god of the hearts left from sight." The light purple unicorn named Twilight knew she read about the goddess of the moon somewhere. She ran off through Canterlot to get to the library where she hoped she could find the knowledge she needed. As she ran she ran past other unicorns who tried to say hello. Hey Twilight. Twilight aren't you going to the party. Twilight stopped long enough to reply. Sorry girls i have to study i'v been slacking lately. One of the unicorns rolls her eye's as Twilight runs off. Catch up my hove she never stops studying how can she be slacking. Twilight makes it to the library where she bursts open the door sending a small purple dragon flying through the air and landing on a gift he had well wrapped. Come on spike help me look for the book on legends and fairy tales. But Twilight we are on a break. Twilight uses her magic her horn glowing purple removing books from the shelves as she inspects them. Found it twilight She uses her magic to pull the book from Spikes hands sending him off the ladder and hitting the floor with a THUD. Got it spike, It says here that in 1000 years the goddess of the moon will return and send Equestria into a endless night. 1000 years have passed spike. Yea but that is just a old tale Twilight doesn't mean it is real. Spike take a note to Princess Celectia. Spike takes out a quill and paper and prepares to wright down Twilight's words. "Dear Princess Celectia, I write this letter to you to inform you about a urgent situation that is going to happen. The 1000 years have passed and i am positive the goddess of the moon, Nightmare moon will be free. I suggest you take action. Your faithful student Twilight Sparkle." With that Spike blows fire onto the letter and it vanishes out of the window. Celectia receives the letter and reads it carefully. Only one pony would figure this out i knew it would be Twilight but she can't do this alone she needs help. I know where she can find it. With that Celectia writes a letter to Twilight but no before she has a flashback of that night between her,GoldenHeart and Nightmare moon. She feels strange all of a sudden, A chill goes up her spine and a warm feeling hits her heart. She pants for breath as she knows it is time and he is returning. She writes her letter and sends it to her student Twilight. In a cave far from any life sits a Golden alicorn his eyes fixed shut in the dark. Unaware of life of the world outside his cave. His spine shivers his cutting green eyes shine through the cave. It is time, Time for us to win our battle and for me to get back the love that i lost. GoldenHeart walks into the sun his eyes hurt it had been 1000 years since he saw light. His eyes adjusted he stretched his wings and flew off back to the land he calls home. Twilight gets the letter from Princess Celectia. She begins to read it. "Dear my faithful student Twilight. have no fear about these old tales. You must stop reading all these books and make some friends. That is why i am sending you to Ponyville to under go the management of the Summer Sun Celebration. Also please make some friends." Twilight shocked by the reply, How could Princess Celectia not believe me, But then again she is my teacher and very wise. I will do as she wishes but i have no time to make friends. I will oversee the Summer Sun Celebration. Then go to the town library and try to find out more about Nightmare moon's escape. Twilight and Spike got on a chariot pulled by two royal guards. They flew out from Canterlot and took Spike and Twilight to Ponyville. When they landed Twilight thanked the two guards then walked off with Spike. They come across a pink pony.Spike urges Twilight to say hello. Hello? The pink pony gasp's and shoots off with out a word. Twilight puzzled she walks with Spike. Spike takes out a scroll and tells her what her first task is. Ok Twilight the first thing on the list is food. Fine lets get this done with quickly. They approach Sweet Apple Acres. A orange pony with a long mane wrapped up runs past them and bucking a tree surrounded by apples that fell into them. Twilight approaches her. Hello there, I am Twilight Sparkle and i am here to oversee the summer sun celebration. You must be in charge of the food. Why yes miss Twilight, We at Sweet Apple Acre sure do love making new friends my name is AppleJack. Would you like to sample the grub. Sure as long as it doesn't take long. AppleJack gives out a loud shout Soup's up. Out of no where a bunch of pony's carry Twilight and Spike to a table with AppleJack waiting for them. Let me introduce you to the Apple's family. We have Apple Fritters, Red Delicious..... She carries on with the name's as all sorts of food with apple's in them start to pile up on the table. Twilight trys to get away. Well it seems you have it sorted we best be going. A small pony looks at Twilight Aren't you going to stay for brunch i'm sorry but i have loads to do They all sigh Fine. They all cheer. After Twilight is walking with spike with her belly full. Spike tells her the next job on the list. Well now it is weather checking. there is meant to be a pegasus called Rainbow Dash clearing the sky. They look up to see clouds in the sky. Well she is not doing a very good job. Rainbow dash crashes into Twilight So you must be Rainbow Dash. I'm Twilight Sparkle. Yup the one and only. I thought you where meant to be clearing the sky. I can clear the sky in 10 seconds flat. I practicing my moves for the wounderbolts. Well i don't think the WounderBlots will be interested if you can't even keep the sky clear for one day. With that Rainbow Dash takes off and starts to clear the sky at a very fast speed staying true to her words and doing it under 10 seconds. Twilight and Spike's mouths drop. Rainbow Dash gives out a laugh Haha you should see the look on your face. your a hoot Twilight Sparkle i can't wait to hang out with you more. Rainbow fly's off leaving Twilight and Spike. Spike open the scroll and tells Twilight what is next on the list. Well Twilight it looks like the next thing on the list is decorations. Sounds easy enough. They walk of to the hall. When they arrive they see a white coated mare with a curved mane putting up decorations. Spike starts to drool. Hello there i'm Twilight Sparkle you must be in charge of the Decorations. You are doing an amazing job. Why yes i am. I'm Rarity nice to meet you. Rarity gives out a gasp at Twilight's hair Oh my goodness dear, That style will simply not do. She drags Twilight off with Spike to her shop, Carousel Boutique. She then starts putting different clothes and hair styles on Twilight. Maby this or this or how about this darling. Yea they are.......nice. Be right back i must get some more materials. Twilight turns to Spike. Lets get out of here before she decides to dye my coat a new color. She grabs Spike and dashes off. Author's Note This took a lot of work and re-watching MLP:FIM. Very closely so i can get the story as close as possible while having my own parts.
