Silver Blade

I awoke from passing out on a bed in the infirmary to find some figures standing around the bed. As my vision clears I see the figures to be ponies and said "Why are there ponies standing here? Wait a second the ponies look familiar!" I said sounding a little worried.

"What do you mean? You've always seen ponies haven't you?" replied a purple unicorn.

"No." I replied to her.

"But how is that possible?" said a light blue Pegasus with a rainbow colored mane.

"Well I don't know."

"What do you mean you don't know?" asked a yellow Pegasus.

"Well, I don’t remember much. The last thing I remember is that I was not a pony, but now I am," I replied.

By that time the doctor came back in and said I was free to go. When we got out of the infirmary I noticed was that I was a Pegasus and other the ponies introduced themselves.

“I’m Twilight Sparkle, I run the Golden Oaks Library here in Ponyvile and these are my friends.” the purple unicorn said introducing herself.

“Hey I’m Rainbow Dash, Fastest flyer in all of Equestria.” the light blue Pegasus boosted.

“My name’s Rarity, it’s an honor to meet you.” the white unicorn said with elegance and grace.

“I’m Fluttershy” the yellow Pegasus said timidly.

“Howdy, Ah’m Applejack, I help run Sweet Apple.” The orange Earthpony said with a southern accent.

“And I’m Pinkie Pie!” said the pink Earthpony with an out of control mane excitedly.

“So what is your name?" Twilight asked.

"Hmm, I don't know... how about Silver Blade?"

"Silver Blade? I think that would be an interesting name!" Rainbow said.

“So, do you have a place to stay or…” the purple unicorn asked.

"No I don’t. Hey Rainbow Dash can I live with you because you seem to be a very fast Pegasus, and I can probably learn some things from you."

"Sure I guess, as long as you don't get in the way of training for the Wonder Bolts!" she replied.

"Wonder Bolts?"

"Yeah the Wonder Bolts are the fastest and best fliers in Equestria!" Rainbow Dash said with enthusiasm.

"Wow! It must be hard to be one of them."

"Yeah it is hard. But I’ll get in no sweet.” she said proudly

"So before we go to your house why don't you teach me how to fly?"

"Sure Silver Blade."

About half an hour later I got the basics of flying down and was starting to get exhausted.

"Thank you Rainbow Dash for teaching me how to fly,"

"No problem. Well it is getting late; I think we should go to my house and get some sleep." Rainbow said looking at the sky.

“Right.”

"Good morning Silver Blade!" Rainbow said the next morning.

"Good morning Rainbow Dash! You know maybe I should get a job..."

"You know you could get the same job I have Silver Blade," she said stretching.

"And what job is that?"

"The Ponyville Weather Patrol,"

"Oh... well I'll think about it later, hey I have a random question, is there any special occasion anytime soon?"

"Yeah the Princess is coming soon!" she said excitedly

"Oh! The Princess is coming soon for a visit!"

Meanwhile on the edge of the Everfree forest, Fluttershy was picking flowers for the arrival of Princess Celestia.

"La la la la la la la la la" Fluttershy sang as a squirrel comes over to her with a dandelion "Thank you little squirrel, but remember: these flowers are for Princess Celestia. Only the prettiest ones will do"

The wind blows the seeds off the dandelion and the squirrel rushes off and Fluttershy walks over to her basket of apples and hears a chirping noise and jumps behind her basket. Then a little blue ball like creature with wings appears and chirps. Fluttershy crawls over to it.

"Hello little guy. I've never seen anything like you before!" The creature flies over to the apple on the ground and sniffs it "Oh, are you hungry?" Fluttershy walks over and crushes the apple with her hoof and pushes it over to the creature "Here you go," the creature flies over to the basket of apples and quickly eats every apple except the one Fluttershy crushed and Fluttershy gasps "I guess you were hungry!" the creature snuggles into Fluttershy's mane and chirps "You're the cutest thing ever! I can't wait to show you to my friends!"

Meanwhile over at Twilight's house where she and spike were cleaning up.

"Oh! Hurry up Spike! This place isn't gonna clean itself!" The purple Unicorn said running around.

"It also didn't mess itself up." the purple and green dragon said stacking some books.

"Princess Celestia will be here tomorrow!" Twilight said franticly.

"I thought this was just an unofficial casual visit?"

"There's nothing casual about a visit from royalty! I want this place to be spotless, and you've barely made a dent in the clutter!" she retorted.

"Maybe you should, start reading them one at a time, ah!" Spike yelled falling off the ladder.

"Everything's got to be perfect. No time for fooling around!"

"You know, this would be an awful lot easier if there weren't two of us here getting under each other’s feet!" Spike said pushing a pile of books off of him.

"Great idea! You clean; I'll go see how everyone else's preparations are coming!"

"Or maybe I should..." Spike starts but is interrupted by twilight slamming the door shut.

Twilight walks through the park to checks on all the preparations and finds a sign that says "Welcome Princess Celest"

"What happened to the rest of her name?" Twilight asked.

"We couldn't fit it all in" replied Golden Harvest.

"You can't hang a banner that says 'Welcome Princess Celest'. Take it down and try again!" Twilight said as she ran off. She stops to look at the flowers a pony was watering and said "That looks perfect! Keep up the good work!" she then ran over to Sugarcube Corner. "Hello Mr. and Mrs. Cake. How's the banquet coming?"

"It would be coming a little better if..."  Mrs. Cake sighed and pointed over to all the half eaten deserts but then Pinkie Pie eats a giant cake in to bites.

"Pinkie! What are you doing? Those sweets are supposed to be for the princess!" Twilight yelled.

"I know. That's why I'm tasting them!" Pinkie Pie said nervously, "Somepony needs to make sure that everything is tasty enough," she sticks out her tongue and points at it "to touch the royal tongue!" Pinkie then moves over to the last cake in the store outside of the display case. "And I Pinkie Pie declare that these treats are fit for a king, or a queen, or a princess!" Pinkie said in a sort of royal voice and almost ate the cake, but Twilight looked at her in a look that told her to stop.

At that moment Fluttershy rushed in.

"Twilight, Pinkie, you won't believe... oh I'm sorry... am I interrupting?" She said timidly.

"No not at all. Come on in and make yourself at home!" Pinkie then ate the cake in one huge bite. "What's going on Fluttershy?"

"You won't believe what I found at the edge of the Everfree forest! Come on out little guy it's ok!" three Parasprites popped out and Fluttershy gasped "Three?"

"They're amazing! What are they?" asked Twilight.

"I'm not sure. I'm also not sure where these other two came from!" replied Fluttershy.

"I'll take one off your hooves. I've never seen anything so," Twilight cuddles the creature, "Adorable! Besides, it'll be nice to have a companion for Spike so he won't bother me so much while I'm studying!"

"Pinkie, do you want the other one?" asked Fluttershy.

"UGH! A Parasprite? Are you kidding!?" replied Pinkie Pie.

"ugh?" Fluttershy asked.

"A Para-what?" asked Twilight.

"How could you not like-" Fluttershy asked before she was cut off by Pinkie.

"UGH! Now I've got to find a trombone!"

"A what?" Twilight asked.

"A trombone, you know" pinkie said then imitated a trombone being played and rushed off.

"Typical Pinkie..." Twilight sighed and headed over to Carousel Boutique.
