Chapter 1
W-where am I? Twilight thought, struggling to get out of her container. Her head was pounding and she could hardly think straight. Even though she had just woken up, she still felt tired. Like her energy had been drained.
Well, well. Look who finally woke up. Came a voice. It's so very nice to see you awake.
Twilight wondered where the mysterious voice came from. She hadn't heard anypony say it out loud. It was almost like she thought it.
"Who's there!?" Twilight yelled, opening her eyes. What she saw confused her. A dark green blur. it felt like she was in water but she could breathe.
"There's no need to yell, Twilight. I can hear you just fine. Came the same voice through her head. Twilight gave an angry look to no one in particular.
"That didn't answer my question." Twilight replied between clenched teeth. "Who. Are. You."
No need to get angry, Twilight. I'm just an old friend of yours. replied the voice as a figure stepped out of the shadows. Twilight gasped, recognizing the figure. The look of surprise quickly became a scowl.
"Chrysalis." Twilight said coldly.
"Now, now, Twilight, you don't have to be so rude. You are only here for a short while." Chrysalis told he

"Sooo… you're letting me go?" Twilight asked, hopefully.
"Of course." Twilight smiled. Then frowned. Why would she ponynap her only to just let her go?
what's the catch? Twilight asked
Chrysalis answered: "A little transformation." she smirked.
Ah, that made more sense. Twilight thought. She brought me here for a- Wait, WHAT!? A transformation!?
"Yes, Twilight. A transformation." Chrysalis responded to her own thoughts. "Then, once you look like us, your princess will find a little surprise waiting for her!" Chrysalis laughed evilly.
"Let us begin the transformation." The queen said, as her horn lit up.
Twilight looked down at her hooves. They were slowly turning from purple fur to black chitin armor. It took all her self-control not to scream.
"Stop it!" Twilight yelled, lighting up her horn. Her attempt at firing a magical bolt failed, though, as she lacked the energy needed to create one. She stared hopelessly as the transformation slowly crept up her leg, leaving holes in them.
"There is no use resisting, Twilight Sparkle. Your love energy was sapped away from you before you woke up. It helps us ensure that we won't run into any problems." The queen's expression changed to an evil smirk, even smirkier than her last smirk.
As the green light got up to her stomach area, she struggled to get out of the cocoon. This proved to be useless, for she could hardly move at all, let alone get them out in time to stop the spell. Up to her neck now, she found all she could do was wait for it to be over.
Once she had been completely transformed, Chrysalis spoke. "Ah, well, now that that's done, I suppose all we have to do now is change your voice." Seeing the look of confusion on Twilight's face, she explained, "Well, we can't let Celestia recognize you, can we?"
Twilight gave an angry look before the queen's horn lit up again. After only a few seconds, her horn stopped glowing. "There." The queen said. "Now try out your new voice."
"Why are you doing this to me!?"Twilight spoke, but she didn't hear her voice it was a changelings.
"All will be revealed in good time." Chrysalis answered as her fangs ripped open the cocoon. Now to see what it looks like behind bars
Twilight watched as her horn lit up one more time, and a light surrounded her. She knew she was being teleported; she had done it herself several times. She closed her eyes and waited. when she opened her eyes princess Celestia was looking down at her with an angry look on her face.
"I can explain." Twilight said as a nervous laugh escaped her mouth
"No need" Celestia said as her horn lit up for an attack immediately Twilight used the little magic she had to create a shield.
"Let me explain." Twilight begged as her shield got a dent in it
"Remove the shield and i'll stop the spell." Celestia said as a small smirk formed
"I'm not stupid." Twilight said with an annoyed look on her face
"Remove the shield." Celestia demanded
"I'll remove the shield when you realize where your own student is." Twilight said as her shield cracked and small parts started to dissolve.
"You know where Twilight is?" Celestia asked stopping the spell.
"Better, I'm Twilight." Twilight answered collapsing from the amount of energy she used on the shield.
"I'm letting Luna decide your punishment." Celestia said.
"L -luna?"
"Guards escort it to Luna's room. Make sure it's tied up and, has a note saying that Luna is in charge of it."
'Stop Please." Twilight begged as she was carried to the storage room.
"Get the ropes, and disable it's magic. Make sure it has it's talking disabled also." one of the guards commanded.
Luna stretched as she got out of bed and raised the moon. "What in the world." Luna asked as she untied Twilight.
When Twilight was untied she pointed to her mouth. Luna got the message and let her talk. "Now i'm going to need a minute to explain."
Changeling Explain Celestia demanded with Twilight crying in front of her with a large puddle of tears in front of her. You will talk tomorrow guards escort it into the dungeon! when she finished the sentence two guards came rushing in through the door holding a note
Princess we found this note near the changeling it says Take this changeling I don't need it anymore -chrysalis one of the guards read.
Finally something from Chrysalis now escort it to the dungeon Celestia demanded
When Twilight was sent to the dungeon she fell asleep. when she awoke Celestia was in front of her
Who are you? Celestia asked
Twilight Sparkle. Twilight replied
No your not! Celestia yelled
Chrysalis turned me into this. Twilight stated with fear in her eyes
Then why are you scared is it because you are going to fail your mission
What mission?
OK do you mind if your friends come see you? Celestia asked
Yay! my friends
I'll have them escorted as soon as I can. Celestia said as a smirk formed on her face. then as quickly as the smirk appeared it was gone
When Twilight's friends arrived Rainbow dash said loudly Princess were here!
OK this changeling right here claims to be Twilight I want you to prove it either right or wrong
But I'm so busy. Rarity stated
it can stay with me. Fluttershy said
What if that thing attacks Fluttershy? Rainbow dash asked. as she said that Twilight looked offended.
I have plans for that. Celestia said as she pulled out a collar with her cutie mark on the front
What! Twilight yelled
This collar will disable a changelings magic wings and ability to change. Celestia said as she put it on Twilight
At least it looks OK on me. Twilight said trying to look happy
