Chapters Cloudsdale was quiet. It was too early to wake up. But one pegasus had set her alarm clock to wake her up at 7.30 a.m by accident.
Rainbow Dash woke up and thought about what to eat for breakfast. She looked in her refrigerator. She didn't really feel like eating half a daffodil sandwich or turtle food - and even if she wanted to, Tank would be hungry - so she flew down from Cloudsdale to Ponyville. She was planning on going to Sugarcube Corner for some cupcakes. "Who cares if it's really unhealthy to eat cupcakes first thing in the morning?" she said to herself. "I feel like it, after all." As she reached the ground, she saw a lavender alicorn standing next to a bookstore. It was Twilight Sparkle.
"Hey, Rainbow! I was just looking for you! Could you help me sort the books at the library later in the afternoon? Everyone else was busy, so I thought you might want to help me." she said.
That's really lame , thought Rainbow Dash, but I don't want to hurt Twilight's feelings . She accepted the offer, then continued on her way. When she reached Sugarcube Corner, she noticed that there was a new flavour with zap apples.
"Hi, Dashie! Are you here for cupcakes? What flavour would you like?"
"Of course I'm here for cupcakes. This is a bakery, after all, unless the Cakes decided to turn Sugarcube Corner into a stadium. That would be really cool, but I'm pretty sure they're not going to do that. Anyway, today I accepted Twilight's offer to help arrange the books, but I don't really want to go. What should I do? Also, I'll have the zap apple flavoured cupcakes. I heard those are the best. Where did the Cakes get the zap apples anyway? It isn't even zap apple season."
"Pumpkin wanted zap apples, so they ordered some. But then they accidentally ordered 10 000 instead of 10. Good thing they were strangely cheap. I don't have a clue how they ordered that many. Also, Pumpkin only ate one before - hey, remember that time I couldn't decide between swimming with you or helping Applejack build the barn? I ended up making lots of copies of myself!"
"Yes, I know that, Pinkie, that isn't even related - THAT'S IT! I can use the Mirror Pool to make a copy of myself that can help Twilight! Then I can spend my time doing awesome things! Can you help me? This might go terribly wrong, but who cares anyway? Desperate times call for desperate measures!"
"That isn't really a desperate time, but I can help you, after I'm done with work, of course, which is in 3 hours. The Cakes are closing early today for some reason."
~~ Hours later~~
Pinkie Pie walked out of her workplace and saw Rainbow Dash sitting on a cloud eating a cupcake.
"Come on, Dashie! Work is over! Follow me!" said Pinkie cheerfully.
Rainbow Dash followed Pinkie to the Everfree Forest. Soon, they spotted a huge boulder in the ground and lifted it off the ground. It took a lot of work, but they managed to do it eventually. "Well, this is the Mirror Pool. Now all you have to do is say, 'And into the pond she stared, yearning for one who reflection she shared, and solemnly sweared not to be scared at the prospect of being doubly mared.' Then walk in and then out, like this, and pull your copy out of the water." said Pinkie. "Oops! I accidentally made a copy of myself!" She grinned at the new Pinkie and said, "Well, I wasn't expecting that, but hi anyway! As long as you don't make more copies of me, I'd be glad to let you stay with me!"
Pinkie looked back at Rainbow Dash. "I know this isn't related, but why didn't you just help Twilight instead of waiting 3 hours for me? You could have just helped her during those 3 hours. You aren't the type who is usually willing to wait. And Twilight told me that you were way more sensible than me and would never do anything like this, especially after that disaster."
"I just really don't want to help Twilight. The last time I did that, the Wonderbolts visited Ponyville for a while, and I missed them!"
Rainbow did as Pinkie did as Pinkie said earlier, and soon another Rainbow Dash emerged.
"Hey, me! You look awesome!" said the real Rainbow Dash.
"You too!"
Rainbow showed her clone around town. Soon, she thought that Rainbow Dash #2 was ready to go over to Twilight's. She pointed to Twilight's library and explained what she was supposed to do. Rainbow #2 walked into the library while the real Rainbow Dash watched from a window. Twilight was already starting to arrange the books when the copy of Rainbow arrived.
"Oh, hey, Rainbow, I thought you'd changed your mind!"
"No way. I'd never abandon a friend." said Rainbow #2, doing what she was told. She picked up a book titled "The Art of Baking Cookies" and flew to the top of the bookshelf.
"Um, Rainbow, that belongs at the bottom." She flew back down and put the book in the shelf.
"That's supposed to be to the left. You should know that, Rainbow. It's a recipe book and you just put it in the adventure section."
Rainbow Dash #2 removed the recipe book from the adventure section and placed it in the correct spot while the real Rainbow flew away and went to Fluttershy's cottage. Rainbow didn't know why she chose that place, but she felt like there was something cool going on.

"Hi, Rainbow Dash, if you're not busy, could you help me tame this bear? I just need you to stand there and make sure the bear doesn't break anything."
"I knew it! I really do have awesomeness detection powers!"
One broken lamp and one hit from Angel was all the time it took until Fluttershy was done taming the bear. Rainbow Dash happily flew back to her home in Cloudsdale (After grocery shopping - she couldn't eat cupcakes for every meal!).
Unfortunately and strangely, the door was locked.
A head popped out of the window. "I had to do your work helping Twilight, now I get your house!" It was Rainbow's clone.
Tank walked slowly out of the house to the real Rainbow Dash. Twilight had cast a spell on him so he could walk on clouds. Also, Tank could tell who the real Rainbow Dash was.
"What the hay? How did you get my keys?"
"You left the door unlocked and the key was on the floor."
"Uh, what just happened?" said Rainbow Dash as her clone went back inside. Upon regaining her senses, she flew back down to Ponyville with Tank sitting on her back. Once she reached there, she stood in the middle of the street, considering her possible actions.
She could kick her clone out of her house, but then she would get kicked out again and there would be a never-ending cycle. Maybe Rainbow could drown her clone in the Mirror Pool. But Rainbow 2 wasn't stupid. She could somehow know about the Mirror Pool. Rainbow decided to approach Twilight Sparkle. Even if she couldn't get rid of her clone, she would probably let Rainbow stay at the library for a while, even if she was mad at Rainbow for not just explaining that she didn't want to go to Twilight's.
Rainbow walked to Twilight's house. When she reached there, she saw Twilight and Spike standing just outside, looking confused. Owlowliscious was hovering just above them too. "What are you doing outside, Twilight?" asked Rainbow Dash.
"Well, today I accidentally made a clone of myself using the Mirror Pool while I was visiting Zecora. Strange. I could have sworn I covered the hole when Pinkie made copies of herself. Anyway, when she appeared, she chanted,'Books! Books! Books!' just like Pinkie's clone. Later, when I was at home Fluttershy saw the clone and asked her to help with something. After she helped, she went to the library and kicked me out, saying that she did what I was supposed to do and so, she got my house and - Are you even listening, Rainbow?"
"Yes. Why were you chanting the spell while walking to Zecora's? Anyway, I got kicked out of my house too. What about the rest?"
"Yeah, I forgot to mention that Fluttershy and Rarity were there too. But I bet Pinkie didn't make a clone of herself!" said Twilight. She looked at Rainbow Dash, who was suspiciously nervous. Twilight sighed. "You brought her to the Mirror Pool and she accidentally made a copy of herself, didn't she?"
"Maybe..."
"Great." Twilight sat down. "I guess we'll just have to sleep on the streets for today." Twilight, Spike, Rainbow Dash and Tank lay down and cried themselves to sleep, with Owlowlicious perched on a nearby tree, hooting.

Rainbow Dash woke up, looking at the sky as she wondered why she didn't just go to Applejack's or check into a hotel instead of sleeping on the cold, hard streets.
Twilight was thinking the same thing. She used a teleportation spell to transport herself and Rainbow to the park, where their friends, along with their pets, were standing.
"Howdy! I saw you sleeping on the streets today after getting kicked out of your houses. Well, except for Rarity of course. I don't know where she slept. Anyway, why don't y'all stay at the barn for now?"
"Ugh! I simply cannot live in such a dirty place!" exclaimed Rarity, gasping dramatically at the thought.
"Why don't y'all break into your houses and bring your stuff over?" said Applejack, rolling her eyes.
"Great idea, Applejack!" answered Fluttershy. Angel nodded his head in agreement.
"Hey, I just realized something. If we're supposed to have the same personalities as our clones, then why did your clone, who should be shy, kick you out?" Twilight asked Fluttershy.
Suddenly, they heard a voice.
"...And you're not going to a doormat any more once you know Iron Will's assertiveness techniques!" They turned around to see Iron Will giving a speech. With Fluttershy's clone at the front of the crowd, stomping her hooves.
"Hey! Iron Will's back! That must be why Fluttershy's clone is so un-doormat!" said Pinkie Pie.
"Anyway, let's ransack our houses. We'll be at the barn at ten o'clock, Applejack." said Twilight.
Later, at the door of her house, Rainbow Dash imitated Spitfire's voice. "Hello? Is Rainbow Dash here?"
Her clone flew out, almost as fast as lightning. Rainbow quickly flew into the window and looked around, wondering what to steal. Finally, she grabbed some bits and two Daring Do books. There would probably be food at Sweet Apple Acres. Then she flew back out.
Meanwhile, Rarity was doing the same thing. She stood outside Carousel Boutique, wearing a horrible dress and a disguise, making sure that nopony else was around. When her clone ran out to correct 'the crime against fashion', Rarity pointed in another direction, claiming that there was somepony in an even uglier dress there. Then when Rarity's clone ran in that direction, Rarity opened the door and took all the cleaning supplies. And some bits.
Pinkie Pie walked around Sugarcube Corner. "Spy mode activated," she said to herself as she studied the window. "This is going to be hard." Suddenly, Pinkie's clone skipped out happily to hold a party.
"Never mind." said Pinkie as she hopped into a hot air balloon, which she conveniently put there. The hot air balloon floated up, until Pinkie reached the window. She went in and grabbed what anyone would expect - a bunch of balloons. Twilight had told her to bring some bits too, so she grabbed two bits and went downstairs. The Cakes were out, so she went downstairs and went out through the door.
Fluttershy stood outside her cottage, making sure not to be seen. She looked at Angel. "Um, Angel, could you pretend to be injured?" Angel shook his head.
"Please? Come on, I need to enter in order to get your food."
Angel nodded and quickly stood in front of the door, making groan-like noises. When Fluttershy's clone came out, the real Fluttershy went upstairs through the window. She looked around. She had promised Angel that she would get his things, so she grabbed some lettuce, a cherry, and carrots. Then she found Angel's tail curlers and some bits. That was all she could carry, so she flew out. When she reached the ground, Angel looked at the stuff, and looked back at Fluttershy.
"Sorry, Angel, but my hooves were full, I couldn't carry anything else."
Just then, a real injured animal came. Fluttershy's clone immediately came out while the real Fluttershy and Angel hid. Fluttershy then flew in through the window for more of Angel's stuff.
Meanwhile, Twilight was outside her library.
"Spike, I told you to take that book right before we left, right? The one with the invisibility spell?"
"You did?"
As Twilight facehoofed, Owlowlicious appeared with a book.
"Thank goodness you did it!" said Twilight, glaring at Spike.
Then, she picked up the book. Her horn started to glow as she cast the spell on herself and faded out of sight. Then, she flew up into the library and looked around. Just like her friends, she kept her bits upstairs. She took 10 and levitated a few books out, which, in her case, referred to 73 books. Then she flew back outside.

"Um, Pinkie, would you mind helping me carry my stuff?" whispered Fluttershy as she walked slowly into the barn, weighed down by her things.
"No problem!" Pinkie Pie put Gummy down. She happily picked up some of Fluttershy's things and carried them to the barn, where the rest of her friends were waiting. Twilight was reading a book, Rainbow Dash was flying around, Applejack was sitting on the floor playing with Winona, and Rarity was lying on the floor unconscious.
Upon seeing the two, Applejack stood up. "I hope y'all will be comfortable stayin' here. Don't mind Rarity, she just fainted once she saw how dirty the barn was."
She looked at the sky. It was already night. "Well, it's time to go to sleep now."
Applejack went back into her house. Her friends all lay down, with Opalescence spread out on some rags that Rarity packed. They didn't have such a comfortable place, but at least they had somewhere to sleep.
Tomorrow the plans for action would be carried out.
The beautiful sun rose and warmed the earth. It was the perfect day to sleep in. Unless, of course you were in Sweet Apple Acres.
"Time to wake up, sleepyheads!" yelled Applejack. Apple Bloom came out from behind her.
"Howdy! Where's Sweetie Belle?" asked Apple Bloom. Rarity, who had regained consciousness in the night, told her to look for Sweetie Belle in the CMC clubhouse. Apple Bloom ran off.
"It's not Applebuck season, so we're going to plan something for the fakes, right? I don't see any other reason to wake up at sunrise!" said Rainbow Dash. Applejack nodded. Quickly, Rainbow zipped to the Apple Family's house and came back with a piece of paper and pencil.
Rainbow used her mouth to draw a map. "Okay, we start an ambush. Me and Fluttershy take this area, Applejack and Pinkie take this area, and Rarity and Twilight take this area!"
"That's actually a pretty good idea, Rainbow! Well, other than the fact that you didn't provide much detail," said Twilight. "Now all we need is weapons!"
"No problem, Twilight!" said Pinkie. "Dashie, take the stuff under my bed in Sugarcube Corner!"
Puzzled, Rainbow flew to Sugarcube Corner, expecting to find party games or something like that. Pinkie's clone was sleeping. Rainbow came back with Pinkie's party cannon, loaded with cannonballs. She also had a first-aid kit.
"You keep ammo in your room?" Twilight was shocked and freaked out.
"Yeah, how else am I going to have fun?" said Pinkie.
After recovering from shock, Twilight planned their ambush more specifically. "That's too crazy for words, but as long as you don't kill anypony, I'm fine with that. Anyway, Rarity, read page 23 of this book for the spell to send the clones back to the Mirror Pool, We're going to need to make sure they don't pretend to be us, so draw an X on your left front hoof. The rest of you, go out there and round the clones up."
Her friends all drew an X on their hoof, not questioning the fact that Twilight didn't provide much detail in her plan.
"Rarity, you stay here and read that book. We're going to round the clones up!"
Then, she, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy ran out of the barn.
The clones had created even more clones, and they had formed an army. They had managed to get along well enough.
"Well, this is going to be hard. We should just go back to the barn." said Fluttershy.
"Not so fast, Fluttershy. You're stayin' here. Don't you want to go back to your cottage and be with the animals?" Applejack grabbed Fluttershy's tail to prevent her from leaving.
After a few hours, Twilight and her friends were exhausted. They hadn't managed to round any of the clones up.
"Everypony, abort mission! Repeat, abort mission!" screamed Rainbow Dash.
Her friends ran to the barn.
"Where's Fluttershy?" asked Twilight. "Rarity, did Fluttershy come to the barn?"
"Wasn't she with you, darling?" said Rarity.
"Um, no. She was there for a while before she just disappeared."
"Does it really matter? Knowing her, she probably disguised as a tree or something because she was scared. She'll probably be here in the morning." said Rainbow, yawning. Normally, she wouldn't be so cool about it, but she was too sleepy to think normally. She fell asleep just after saying the sentence.
"Are you kidding me, Rainbow Dash?" said Twilight, not noticing that Rainbow was asleep. "We need to find Fluttershy now!" Twilight suddenly noticed that most of her friends were asleep, and Applejack was heading to the house.
"Well, I guess I can't find Fluttershy without help and being well-rested." Twilight closed her eyes, and soon she was snoring.

The rooster crowed, signalling the start of a new day. Applejack woke up and walked downstairs to make breakfast.
"I'd better not wake up the rest now," Applejack said to herself. "They're probably really sleepy. Not everypony is used to waking up really early."
She went to the barn anyway to feed the cows.
As she fed the cows, which were in the corner of the barn so Rarity wouldn't faint again, Applejack noticed a note next to Pinkie Pie. She picked it up. Scrawled in horrible hoofwriting was:
"We are holding your little friend, Fluttershy, hostage. Surrender, or else!"
Applejack changed her plans for letting her friends sleep. "I thought our clones were supposed to be kind, considering they have the same personalities as the rest." she thought to herself.
Then she ran into the barn. "Fluttershy's bein' held hostage!"
Her friends woke up immediately. "Are you serious?" asked Pinkie. "Or is this just a trick? Are you trying to lure us out so you can play a prank?" Pinkie tried looking outside. When she saw nothing out there, she gasped. And so did everyone else.
"Okay, so now what do we do?" said Twilight.
"Let's lead an army of ninjas!" exclaimed Rainbow Dash. Clearly, she had been influenced by Pinkie's randomness, from staying with her too long.
"That's not really going to help. Anyway, where's Angel?"
Applejack read the note again and noticed something else at the bottom:
P.S. We also got that bunny. He was helping Fluttershy fight.
Rarity fainted again.
"Now I see why you told Rarity to stay here," Rainbow mumbled, staring down at Rarity.
"Well, she'll be okay. Right now we need to concentrate on finding Fluttershy," said Twilight.
"Isn't there a spell to find her?" asked Rainbow. "After all, there are spells to teleport, lift things, and turn the pages of a book."
"Even if there is a spell to find Fluttershy, it's not in any of these books."
"Ya have like, a hundred books and there isn't a useful spell in any of them?" Applejack said, exasperated.
"You didn't say that when I fixed that water pipe," mumbled Twilight. Then she said, "I guess we'll have to find Fluttershy manually."
She started by waking Rarity up.
"Rarity, you and Rainbow pack some stuff we might need. Pinkie and AJ, you bring some food. And get a bag, too. We'll need it to carry our stuff. While you're carrying really heavy stuff, I'll sit here and plan where to go. It might be a long trip."
Having just regained consciousness, Rarity didn't know what she was packing, but she packed some sweaters she had gone back to take in the middle of the night. Rainbow got some binoculars, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, some sleeping bags, and a first-aid kit from the house. She also got a Daring Do book.
"I never knew there was so much stuff in the Apple Family's house," said Rainbow. Just then, Pinkie arrived with two dozen cupcakes. Pinkie had managed to bake them in five minutes. Applejack was holding some apples.
Twilight looked at the map of Ponyville.
"According to the marks that Rainbow made on this map, Fluttershy was here, next to the town hall while we were fighting. So, she should be somewhere near here. If she's not, my theory is that Fluttershy was blindfolded and dragged away. We should be able to see strands of her pink mane forming a trail to wherever she is!"
"Take care of our pets, will you?" said Rainbow Dash to Scootaloo, who had somehow appeared in the span of 30 seconds upon hearing that Rainbow was staying at Sweet Apple Acres for a while.
"Of course!" said Scootaloo, elated that Rainbow asked her for help, even if she wasn't exactly the best with animals.
Since Twilight, Pinkie, Applejack, Rainbow, and Rarity had their pets taken care of, the five set off on a journey to the town hall.
Once they reached there, Twilight explained what to do. "It might be a little hard to find anything, so don't be intimidated if-" Suddenly she was interrupted by Pinkie.
"I found something!" cried Pinkie, holding up a lock of hair. It was very short. As short as the hair of a pony's coat.
"That's from your coat, Pinkie."
"No, it's not! It's way too light coloured to be mine!"
"Look, if you don't believe me, I'll prove it." Twilight cast a spell to check the two DNAs to see whether they were the same. But, as it turned out, it really was Fluttershy's.
"Okay, it really is Fluttershy's. Are there any more of these?"
Before Pinkie could say anything, Applejack pointed to more hair, next to a small bush. Usually, Twilight would notice that, but she was so panicked about Fluttershy getting kidnapped that she hadn't been looking properly.
"Let's follow the trail," said Twilight as she noticed a small trail of bright pink hair.
--------------------------------------------- Twenty minutes later---------------------------------------------
"It's a dead end! How awful! I've been walking for so long, and there's not even a clue of where Fluttershy is!" exclaimed Rarity. Rainbow was annoyed, but she didn't say anything. At least she's not fainting this time , thought Rainbow. Twilight, who was no longer panicked about Fluttershy, looked around again, hoping that there was some hair that they missed.
There was nothing.
The five were somewhere in the Everfree Forest, even though they weren't deep inside. There was a stream in front of them, stopping them from going any further. It wasn't that deep, only slightly bigger than a kitchen sink. They could easily walk through it, but Rarity wouldn't go inside because of the fish swimming inside it, which she described as 'horrible, stinky and dirty.'
Just then, Zecora appeared from behind them, holding a basket to collect herbs.
"Why are you in the Everfree, is it to visit me?" asked Zecora.
"No, we're looking for Fluttershy." answered Rainbow.
"What happened to your friend? Is it for her the end?"
"No, not as long as we find her. Say, can we stay in your hut until we figure out what to do?" asked Applejack. "We've hit a dead end."
Zecora nodded. She couldn't think of any rhymes, so she didn't say anything. She led the five to her house, which was nearby. It was just as they remembered, small. Rarity thought that it was too poorly decorated for her to stay in, but didn't say anything to be polite.
Zecora offered to make dinner for the ponies, but they declined and ate their own food while the zebra cooked her own food, which was just soup.
"Thanks for letting us stay here, Zecora," said Twilight. "We need to think of a way to get through the stream. Rarity won't step in it."
"Yeah," added Rainbow. "If an egghead like Twilight can't think of a way, who can?"
"At your intelligence I snort. You do realize you could just teleport?" replied Zecora.
"Oh yeah. Why didn't I think of that? Come on, we'd better go!" Twilight ran out of the hut, desperate to find Fluttershy.
Suddenly, she felt a drop of water fall on her mane. She looked up and saw that dark clouds had gathered in the sky. More rain fell and Twilight heard thunder, and then lightning struck a nearby tree. She watched as the tree fell. The pegasi probably hadn't meant to do that.
Twilight went back inside the hut.
"I guess I'll have to wait."
The sky soon cleared up, to Twilight and her friends' delight.
"The sky's cleared up! Can we go now?" said Pinkie, obviously not able to sit in the small hut for much longer. Applejack and Rainbow obviously had the same problem, since they had lots of energy.
"Of course, Pinkie! The rain has stopped, we know how to get through the stream, I can cast a protection spell on us if something bad happens, there's nothing else that can stop us now."
The five went outside, and Twilight teleported all of them to the other side of the stream.
"Thank you ever so much, Twilight, even if the rest don't really care." said Rarity gratefully.
Rainbow Dash flew up to get a better view of the forest.
"There's a building over there!" she yelled excitedly, pointing. Finally, they would find Fluttershy.
Just as excited as Rainbow Dash, her friends ran to the direction she was pointing to. They came to a small building, clearly created with magic by somepony who didn't have much experience, even though they seemed to know what they were doing. That was clearly built by Twilight's clone.
Twilight looked in through the window. Her clone, along with her friends' clones, were inside. So was Fluttershy. She looked perfectly fine, even though she wasn't exactly the picture of happiness: She was tied up, her mane was messy, and she was slightly skinnier than usual. Clearly, Twilight's clone had cast a spell on her so she couldn't talk. Angel was there with Fluttershy, even though the expression on his face was like he was planning an attack, unlike Fluttershy, who looked like she was about to faint. Obviously, she was just there because of a prank by Rainbow's clone so that the the real Twilight' and her friends would panic.
Twilight's clone was sitting on the floor reading something. Rainbow's clone was not there. She was probably flying around somewhere outside. Pinkie #2 was jumping around cheerfully, Rarity #2 was standing on a table complaining about how dirty the place was, and Fluttershy #2 stood in the corner, looking like she would rather not be in the forest.
"Fluttershy's right there. Rarity, you studied that spell to send the clones to the Mirror Pool, right?" said Twilight, knowing that Rarity probably already studied the spell, as a distraction from the mess at the barn.
"Nope. I was too distracted by the horrible mess at the barn," answered Rarity, shuddering at the thought.
Twilight was annoyed, but she quickly teleported a book into her hoof. Rarity studied it, making sure not to take too much time. It was the book about the Mirror Pool. Once she had fully studied the spell, she used her magic to snap it shut.
The five charged inside. Applejack quickly lassoed Pinkie's clone. Pinkie Pie really had no weapons, so she jumped around in her usual carefree manner, annoying Twilight's clone.
Then Rarity and Twilight quickly cast the spell. But it didn't work. Half the clones were sent to the Mirror Pool, but Rainbow's clone had dissappeared and Fluttershy's clones were still there.
"What the hay just happened? Rarity, you read page 2 of the book, right?"
"I thought I was supposed to read page 7."
"Rarity, for Celestia's sake, the words at the top clearly read: 'This spell is completely unrelated to the Mirror Pool. The author just added it in because he felt like it needed to be shared and he didn't have enough spells to write a new book or have a workshop or something. It will really just summon a clown outfit to any pony within a fifty centimeter distance from wherever you are. Also, once you cast this spell, you probably won't be able to cast the spell on page 2. If there's a unicorn nearby, she won't be able to cast that spell too for 7 weeks. This spell stops you and that unicorn from doing the spell.' " Twilight shouted, furious. She held up the book and pointed to the message.
She was about to talk even more when she was interrupted by the remaining clones.
"Please, don't send us back to the Mirror Pool!" begged Fluttershy #2, who had apparently stopped paying attention when the other clones were sent back. Rainbow #2 looked like she was thinking, What is wrong with Fluttershy? How could she beg? We can easily defend ourselves!
"Okay!" said Pinkie Pie happily, seeming not to notice Rainbow #2's expression.
Quickly, so as to not lose her pride, Rainbow #2 exclaimed, "We were just tricking you! And since you fell for it, we're going to kidnap you too!"
"And so was I! That spell Rarity did didn't really do anything! We needed to get you off guard!" Twilight's horn glowed as Rainbow's and Fluttershy's clones inflated like balloons and were sent back.
As Applejack untied Fluttershy, Twilight explained what had happened.

"... And so, I teleported the wrong book here. I got the plan when Rarity told me that she hadn't read the book," finished Twilight.
"Well, that's really interesting, Twilight," whispered Fluttershy, adding, "Thanks for helping me."
The six then went back to Ponyville.

Well, that was a pretty uninteresting ending. Too bad!
