Luna's Nightmare

Luna took the form of a ghost, watching Nightmare Moon take over her body. Her bodies skin over her horn peeled away, revealing bone, which cracked, revealing a new, longer, sharper one underneath it, growing fast. Skin grew up to it, her navy blue coat being weaker against the overcome of Nightmare Moon's coat color: black. Her flowing beautiful mane stopped flowing, turning into something wispy, like mist, though it remained the same color. It started flowing again, but something was growing on the back of her head. Her tiara slowly stretched out, turning silver, going around her horn, ending at her muzzle.The thing in the back on her head grew longer, digging into her flesh and bone. Her hoof shoes, a sparkling light purple, almost white, started growing longer, losing it's sparkles, and shining. Ghost Luna looked at her. Or,now, Nightmare Moon. Nightmare Moon's horn glowed black, the blackness around Twilight Sparkle going away, revealing bone. Luna gasped. Pink skin went over the bones, gray fur sprouting from it. Twilight's eyes fell out, new ones taking their place. Only these were different. Her iris's were grey, her pupils cat-like. Twilight's wings fell off, bat ones growing into place. Nightmare Moon engulfed every other body, each doing the same thing Twilight did. Pretty soon, new warriors were surrounding Nightmare Moon, each of their eyes glowing. Nightmare Moon looked directly in Luna's direction, smiling menacingly. Fangs were exposed from her smile, making her more creepier by the minute. Nightmare Moon said one single command to her minions: " Attack." And they did.

Celestia's orders

A white pegasus stallion with a gold uniform and blue-light blue mane walked behind Celestia, trying to avoid her waving, multi-colored mane. " We are winning, Ma'am. Shall we celebrate? That Mare IS heir to the throne. Selene is nonsense. She does not deserve that throne!" He pointed toward the Throne next to Celestia's bright and gold burning one. The throne next to Celestia's was midnight black and had a full moon, with crescent moons surrounding it, facing different directions. The guard spread his wings, ready to take flight at Celestia's order. Celestia, however, simply said : " Selene is- You are correct. But The Moon must face her fear, and then she will show great bravery, that proves her to be a rightful Princess, but MY plans for me are after she becomes a princess, I will become a Rightful Queen, DOING THE IMPOSSIBLE!" Celestia laughed wickedly, frightening the guard, though he said nothing. For a moment, Celestia's hair turned into wavy fire, yellow and orange streaks in it. Her white coat suddenly became gold, her iris's turning red, her pupils turning into cat-like ones. The circle in her Cutie Mark turned black, and heat was melting the gaurd's uniforms. But, only for a moment. " TAKE FLIGHT! FLEE!" Celestia boomed in the Royal Canterlot voice. The guard took off as fast as he could, leaving Celestia behind.

Return of Twilight and Dawn

" AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Twilight screamed. Luna came rushing in, breaking down the door to The Twilight & Dawn Chambers. " What is wrong Twi-" Luna cut herself off. " HOLY SH*T!" Luna screamed. The sun was being rosen by a Royal Night gaurd. " ALITE!!!!!!!!" Luna screamed. The bat-winged male turned to look at both Twilight and Luna glaring him down. His hooves were glowing. " WHAT?! NONE OF YOU DESERVE TO RAISE THE SUN! THAT WAS NEITHER OF YOU TWO'S JOBS! @#$& YOU! ALL OF YOU!" " Why you little-!" Twilight screamed as she flew over to Alite. She yanked him away, then threw him to Luna. Luna's face instantly turned red. " I THOUGHT YOU WERE THOUGH BEST GUARD! YOU HAVE BEEN SHUNNED!" The moon came up very quickly as Luna turned Alite toward the sky. " TO THE MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!!!!!!!!!" Luna shrieked as she threw him sailing towards the moon. The sky returned back to day when he was out of sight.

Celestia and Nightmare Moon

Celestia laughed. " I KNEW this would work! Right, Nightmare Moon, my faithful sister?" Celestia turned towards Nightmare Moon. She smiled. " Yes...." She hissed softly. Celestia looked at Sunshine, who sat there eating some chocolate. The chocolate flied towards Celestia in a golden aura. " Yes... This has been just perfect, now hasn't it?" Celestia said as black overcame her white coat. " The day I've dreamed of since I was small..."

The News

Twilight paced around her room, wondering what to do. She wondered if she should ask Celestia, or figure it out herself. " Celestia." She told herself. She used her horn to teleport her on a cloud above their castle. Since she became a princess, magic was much easier, but she still had to concentrate on where to land when teleporting. She landed on a cloud above Celestia's balcony, wings widespread. She flew down into the room, only to find Luna weeping on Celestia's bed. " Luna? What happened? Where's Celestia?" Twilight asked. Luna looked up, her horn puncturing a pillow along the way. She shook it off. Her eyes were puffy from crying, and she looked horrible. " Oh T-twil-light," She squeaked. " It's s-so hor- hor- WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!" She burst into tears again, unable to control herself. Twilight's wings partly went down, her ears completely going down. " What's wrong?" She asked again. " T-twil-light... Ce-celest-estia's m-missing, a-and N-night-m-mare M-moon's r-returned.

The Search

Twilight's horn lit up the dark cavern, casting an eerie light on the blood and pony flesh along the walls. " Princess Luna, where are we going?" Luna's teal, glow-in-the-dark eyes darted everywhere only spotting horrible, rotten, or rotting, decade old pony bodies. Luna sighed. She muttered " I am no longer a princess, Twilight Sparkle. A Queen. Queen Luna." Twilight looked around, her horn casting a brighter glow as they went on, only to find more gruesome pony bodies. Luna magical aura turned yellow, a bright yellow ball forming on the top of her horn. " I see nothing, Twi-" A sinister, metallic sounding voice echoed throughout the cave: " Well,well, well, who do we have here? MY TWO LEAST FAVORITE PONIES? SEARCHING FOR THEIR PRINCESS?" Luna cowered lower, nightmare's coming back to her. " Nightmare Moon! SHOW YOURSELF!" Twilight said, using the Royal Canterlot Voice. Nightmare Moon took the body of a pegasus pony, with golden fur, a yellow mane, and a moon and star for a Cutie Mark. The pony had obviously broken her leg and wing,and part of the skin on her torso was missing, showing muscle. Nightmare Moon fixed the body, the fur turning black, the body sprouting a horn on her head. A magical black aura went around her horn, vanishing Luna's light. Nightmare Moon laughed, and Luna let out an ear-piercing scream. Twilight screamed, too, being engulfed quickly by blackness, but had just enough time to turn towards Luna, seeing her eyes falling out, only to be replaced by cat-like pupils, and a aquamarine iris getting darker at the bottom.

Twilight's Daydreams

Twilight didn't know what was going on. Some pony said 'attack' and she lost control of everything but her horn. A violet magical aura started around her horn, spreading everywhere. ' I feel like King Sombra,' She though, her body turning to stone, then cracking. Every pony stopped and gazed at her, the stone minion turning back into Twilight. Twilight looked around, spotting Nightmare Moon immediately. Twilight's horn glowed, one of her eyes turning gold, the other black. Her whole body melted, revealing a flaming Twilight. She charged at Nightmare Moon, who instantly turned into a puff of wispy purple smoke. Twilight ran through Nightmare, turning around to see Nightmare Moon back in pony form, smiling down at her menacingly. Twilight cowered back, seeing Luna in a ghost form. Luna was glaring at Nightmare Moon from behind, her horn glowing slowly. ' That's it, Luna! Weaken her!' Twilight thought, seeing Nightmare Moon looking at her oddly. ' OH NOOOOOOOO!' Twilight thought, realizing Luna AND Nightmare Moon could read minds. Nightmare Moon looked behind her, her eyes going black. A black aura surrounded Nightmare's horn, making Luna slowly reappear. Luna screamed, as if Nightmare was burning a hole in her. Twilight went invisible, and flew towards Luna, seeing that there WAS a hole in her. It was a moon-shaped hole where the moon in her Cutie Mark used to be. Nightmare Moon made Twilight visible again, burning a shining star-shaped hole where that item used to be in HER Cutie Mark. Twilight screamed, and everything went black.

Defeat is Upon

" Twilight!" A distant scream called out. Twilight jerked her head up, seeing she was on the ground of the cave. She looked towards the voice. It was a shadow. Nightmare Moon came out of the shadow, still saying Twilight's name, but this time she sounded like Luna. Twilight could barely see. She ran towards Nightmare Moon, not knowing what she was doing. Nightmare Moon slipped into a hypnotizing voice, which made Twilight jerk up. Her vision came back, but one side of her sight was a deep, bloody red. Twilight put her hoof up to that eye. It was empty. Her hoof came back blood red. The blood in her sight and on her hoof slowly turned black, white, then golden. Nightmare Moon looked at her, then took her armor off. She floated it towards Twilight, who backed up, knowing she would become a slave if she let the armor on her. She looked on her Cutie Mark, seeing a bloody star-shaped hole in it. That was it. Twilight had had it. " LEAVE THIS PLACE NEVER TO RETURN OR ELSE!" Twilight had used the Royal Canterlot voice on Nightmare. Nightmare Moon backed up, wings flaring out. " NEVER! I SHALL STAY HERE,AND EQUESTRIA WILL HAVE ETERNAL DARKNESS!!!!!!!" Nightmare Moon shot back. Twilight looked behind her, seeing Luna helpless on the ground, ears flattened, a moon-shaped hole in her Cutie Mark. Twilight's wings flared, protecting Luna. Nightmare Moon ran towards her, and Twilight cast a spell that made her go through her. Twilight exploded in golden light, being joined by black light from Luna, all ofit raining down on Nightmare Moon. " NOOOOO-OOOOOOO!!!!!!!" Nightmare Moon was surrounded, quickly losing her skin, revealing black bones.
