Princess Chrysalis has just returned home from her failed attempt at invading Equestria where she had posed as her mother Queen Cylka. While Chrysalis believes that the invasion of Equestria is the changelings solution to their current depression and famine her mother refuses to believe so. Chrysalis has noticed how her species have began to embrace Equestrian culture and forget their own which she believes is superior and not stuck up. No matter how hard Chrysalis tries her mother has always refused her daughters idea's and goals, however a turn of events will change the changeling kingdom forever and Chrysalis won't be pretending to be queen this time.
