Equestria has modernized. Thanks to advances made by unicorn scientist, motorized carriages, aircraft, and the all important TV are readily available to the public. The love of speed has made its way to the motorized Equestia, and paved roads lead to and through most major landmasses. Tracks have sprouted in Equestria as well. Los Pegasus, Colterado and, most importantly, Canterlot have all had seen a recent rise in motorsport and tracks have been built for those who can afford to fuel their passion for enthusiastic driving. Princess Luna has recently taken up an interest in the sport of auto racing, but has never committed to going to an event. She is unaccepted by the masses and only has only her mechanic mare and fellow royals to call friends. With Celestia running the nation, she has much free time on her hooves, and has a course built at her request, to her specifications. It stands where the maze used to be and Luna spends most of her time there. If she isn't racing she is engineering new parts for the machines that have captured her imagination. She would love to branch out to those who share the passion but the frequent rejections have rendered her frightful of the possible heart ache. Perhaps an uninvited guest can provide the encouragement she needs to show the world who she is, and what she can do
