He's Celestias son, heir to the throne should anything happen to his mother and aunt Luna. Which essentially means just like every other Prince or Princess of Equestria he has no real responsibilities and a great deal of time on his hooves. What sets him apart from the pack however, is that he is odd. Not odd as in a third eye or a forked tongue, but odd in the way he views and reacts the world around him. Few ponies come away with from an encounter with the prince without scratching their heads in wonderment at how a pony like him could ever be an Prince, let alone an Alicorn.
