The Elements of Harmony have existed since the dawn of Equestria, when Commander Hurricane, Chancellor Puddinghead, Princess Platinum, and their vassals used the power magic of friendship to banish the hateful spirits of winter from the land. They passed themselves on from unwitting pony to unwitting pony until making their way, thousands of years later to the sister princesses, and finally to the six heroes of Ponyville. Along the way they were put to very little use. However in a time that Equestria has forgotten there was war. A war in which the forgotten heroes of Equestria, the Guardians of Harmony, brought peace. This is the beginning of their story.
