Without Control

Twilight Sparkle struggled to free herself from her captor. Images played in her head of all her friends dieing.

"This is what will come, fair princess. The destruction of all you know." The dark figure proclaimed as his horn shone with magic. "Or, you could give up to me."

"Never!" Shouted the lavender alicorn. Twilight tried to break the grasp of magic her enemy was casting. "You won't get away with this, King Sombra!"

"But I will." Sombra hissed at the mare.

Twilight remembered, deep in the depths of her mind, that a princess must make sacrifices for her pepole.

"A princess makes personal sacrifices for her people's safety, no matter what the cost to herself. If it means my friends' safety, I will give up my self to you."

"Excellent."

Dark magic seeped into Twilight, taking over her. Her struggling stopped, and erie smoke poured from her eyes.

"Together, we are one, and together, we will destroy Equestria."

King Sombra grinned at Twilight's statement. He had done well, it was not every day one could successfully take control of the Element of Magic.
