E-Quest-ria

"Ah, another great day in Ponyville!" Twilight happily sighed, stepping out of her intellectual domain that is her home. "Time to round up the posse!"

   Today was kind of special; today was a day of relaxation. No monsters, no trouble, no problem. So, what was better than to enjoy a day off to hang out with her friends? She stepped out of her house and made her way to Applejack's farm to grab a bite and also to pick her up.

   Applejack's farm wasn't far from where she lived, but she decided to take her time and enjoy the beautiful day; greeting other ponies at their doors and entertaining the fillys that were roaming the streets of Ponyville. Soon afterwards, she arrived at her farm and saw Applejack hauling a small barrel of apples.

"Applejack!" She called, trotting over to her.

"Well, hey there Twilight!" She rolled the barrel against a couple of others and walked over to her. "I was just finishing up some work before we headed off to Fluttershy's."

"Glad I came just in time! But, before we go, do you think I could get something to eat?"

"Sure thing! Granny Smith is actually making pie right now! Why don't we go see if she's done?"

"Wonderful!"

   After their meal, they headed over to Fluttershy's garden. While walking through Ponyville, a happy pink pony was already hopping her way to them.

"Hey you two!" She giddily said, still hopping and circling around them. "I'm so happy for today, I can't wait to hang around with you! It's going to be so super-duperly-fun!"

"Nice to see you, too, Pinkie!" Applejack couldn't help but giggle at Pinkie's more-than-happier attitude.

"Oooh! So, where are we going?" She asked, stopping the trance induced hopping, but instead, sticking her face right in front of Twilight's.

"We were actually going to stop by Fluttershy's first before going to get Rarity." Twilight explained.

"Ooh! I can go get Rarity right now! I'll be riiiight back!" Immediately, she shot off in the other direction.

Twilight smiled, "Nopony could ever be mad at her."

   When they arrived at Fluttershy's house, she was surrounded by the woodland critters as she was conducting a small symphony of birds. They slowly walked up to her, enjoying the nice, calm music that she was playing. But, all of it soon went out of hoof when they noticed that Pinkie was galloping at top speed, with Rarity on her back, holding on for dear life.

"I GOT HER!" She yelled, still smiling and running straight at Fluttershy.

"PINKIE, STOP!" Twilight and Applejack called out, scaring Fluttershy in the process. The birds scattered and the bunnies ran back to their holes.

"What is with all of the yelling?" Fluttershy scolded both of them in the calm, but stern voice she had. "Now you've scared off all of the birds and--"

   SLAM! Pinkie hit Fluttershy and all 3 ponies tumbled into a small bushel of flowers. Rarity flew into some bushes while Pinkie was on top of Fluttershy, laughing.

"That was fun!" She lauged and raised her hooves in the air. "Let's do it again!"

"No, I don't want to..." Fluttershy mumbled with her face in the grass.

Applejack and Twilight went over to help the 2 ponies up, "Where's Rarity?" Twilight looked around.

"Over here!" An annoyed voice came from the bushes, not far from where Pinkie was. She pulled her out of the bushes and her mane was covered with leaves and twigs. "OH!" Rarity gasped, seeing the condition of her mane, "This is unacceptable!  Absolutely unacceptable! I simply cannot go out, looking like this!"

"Don't worry, Rarity; I'll help you clean it out." Twilight offered, her horn beginning to glow. All of the mess from Rarity's mane were pulled out and dropped onto the ground around her. The woodland critters came in and cleaned it up.

Rarity sighed and brushed her mane aside. "Thank you, Twilight. And as for you..." She turned to Pinkie, "Why must you drag me off in the middle of my designing? And you could have also told me that we were going to be with friends; I could have put on something nice!"

"You don't need to look nice when you're with friiieeeeennds, Rarity!" Pinkie smushed her face into hers and gestured to the other ponies. "Now c'mon, let's go get Rainbow!" Pinkie began her hopping and lead the group.

   They began their journey over to Cloudsdale. While they walked, they started talking about what they should do.  Applejack wanted to go chase cows and round them up for fun, but Rarity was in no mood, nor was she dressed right for it. Twilight wanted to go to Canterlot's library and read, but Applejack didn't want to sit in a room all day. Fluttershy suggested that they all go relax in her orchid and just be together. They all looked at each other and agreed on it.

About halfway there, they found Rainbow Dash sleeping on a cloud. Pinkie stuck her head through the cloud and scared her, "Pinkie!" She said, annoyed. "How did you even get up here?"

"Hm... I dunno... Ohp!" She fell to the ground, landing on Applejack. "Thanks, Applejack!" She giggled.

"Yea... No problem... Ugh, can you please get off of me?" She strained.

Pinkie giggled, "Sorry!"

Rainbow made her way down and made her way into the circle of friends. "So, what are we going today?"

"Orchid!" Pinkie blurted out happily.

"Orchid? You mean, we're just going to sit there and do nothing?"

"Yes, Rainbow, it's actually quite relaxing to have the smell of flowers around you." Fluttershy explained.

"Well, I could have just 'done nothing' by sitting on a cloud!"

"But you're with friiieeeeennds!" Pinkie smushed her face against Rainbows and gestured to them.

"Yea, you're right. Let's go!"

   They headed over to the orchid, which they assumed is why Fluttershy wanted to go there anyways, it being so close to home for her. When they got there, Fluttershy went off to grab a satchel and collect some flowers. Everypony else went off and did their own thing until she got back.

   Rainbow flew up and grabbed a cloud, plopping it onto the ground and using it as a beanbag chair. Pinkie went off doing whatever Pinkie did. Rarity looked all around on the ground, trying to find a nice spot to settle in so she wouldn't dirty herself. Applejack settled down next to Rainbow Dash, using a part of her cloud as a pillow. Twilight took her spot between Rarity and Applejack. Fluttershy came back with some flowers and spread them around in front of everypony and settled down next to Rainbow. Pinkie Pie came back with a bushel of apples.

   Fluttershy was right; everything was so much more quieter and much more peaceful. It was nice to get away from everything. They all were laying there, hypnotized by Equestria's beautiful blue skies.

"For as long as I've been flying, I've never really admired the scenery." Rainbow said.

"You're right; I guess we've been so busy with everything lately, we've never really had time to admire anything." Twilight said. Then, a thought struck her mind. "Do you girls ever think about there being something outside of Equestria?"

Applejack raised her head, "What do you mean?"

"Well, it just seems like that we're not the only ones here. What if there's more than us?"

"And there is." A voice came from behind the 6 ponies. Celestia and Luna were standing behind them.

"Princess Celestia! Princess Luna!" Twilight and everypony else quickly got up and presented themselves.

"No need to do that, girls." Celestia told them. They all stood back up. "But, to answer in more detail, Twilight, there is more than just us ponies."

"But, how can you be so sure?"

Luna stepped forward "Celestia and I were trying to figure out how we could create a spell for controlling the weather. However, we stumbled upon opening a portal that lead into another place. Quite possibly another world!"

"What's in there?" Applejack asked.

"I hope it's not scary..." Fluttershy stepped back, cowering behind Rainbow Dash.

"I hope they like parties!" Pinkie jumped.

Celestia looked at all of them, "They call themselves 'Humans'."
