Hello, my name is Rainbow Dash, and I am here with Fluttershy to tell a tale, an important one. Though many ponies have known us as children none have known us as babies, or toddlers. There is a reason for that, and if you wish to know, you may. This, is our story.
"C'mon Kelly, lets go!" A 4 year old human darted across the yard, Her short brown hair trailing behind her. The cyan colored sweatshirt on her body bounced up and down as she came to a stop. Her pale green eyes focused on the door into her house. "Are you coming out?" The child yelled out.
"One second!" Yelled a voice from inside. When said voice stepped out her bright blue eyes shimmered in the sunlight. Her long blonde hair was held back by a pale pink headband. Her shirt displayed a small hummingbird . "Coming Alex!" Together they ran around, playing all sorts of games, tag, hide and seek, etc. After about 30 minutes of non-stop play an older woman stepped outside.
"Kelly! Alex! Its time to go inside!" Her light brown hair was braided down to her shoulders, and her voice souned like the perfect song. She waved her hand signaling them too follow. When they where inside she spoke again."Alright, are you two ready to open your presents?"
The two of then nodded their heads and said in sync, "YES!" For it was their 4th birthday, and they where enjoying it so far. Their mom turned around and picked up two boxes. One was yellow with a pink bow, the other was blue, with multiple colors as the bow. When their mom placed them down she nodded, which was the que for, RIP IT APART! And thats just what they did. They both picked up their gifts and their pupils went wide. Sitting in front of them where two kites, each with a special design.
The first, Alex's, was cyan colored, with a rainbow outline. In the center was a white cloud, with blue, yellow, and red lighning bolt sticking out from under it. Kellys, was a pale yellow with a light pink outline. In the center where three pink butterflies. They had gotten what they wanted, kites! And each had two wings sticking out from both sides. They both hugged their gifts before running outside to play with their kites. "Careful!"
Who would've thought that was the last word she had ever said to us.
Alex and kelly each threw their kites in the air, but it wasnt working. Over and over they tried, it never worked, until kelly gave it her all. She threw it up and it stayed. "YEAH!" They both shouted. Then the kite started to pull on the string, harder, harder! Kelly pulled on the string, bringing her kite back to her. The wind was blowing hard. They then turned their heads around to see the air swimming in circles. They each slowly backed away as a twister began to form, then it started towards them.
They ran, as fast as their legs would take them, but they didn't go far. Between being blinded by tears, and having short 4 year old legs, they only made it a block before getting sucked in, thrown out into the sky, and never heard from again.
That's when it all started.
When Alex woke up, she felt something.. off. He rolled off her back and onto her stomach, stuffing her face in the cloudy surface. "Hey, I'm laying on a cloud. heh heh. Take that Mrs. Aqua, People can stand on clouds." She muttered to herself, half asleep. She then picked her face up and creaked her eyes open. "Wow," She said. She spotted a large cloud house a distance away from her. "That's cool." She rolled over again, but felt a pinching sensation coming from, what it seemed like, the end of her spine, and the bottom of her shoulders.

"Get to the detention halls, now!" The principle slammed her hoof against her desk, causing silver skies to back up a little.
"It was an acciden,." Silver turned around and walked out the door. She hadnt meant to hit tulip in the eye, nor give her a black one.
