Everything Ends

Three years ago, Equestria was the perfect place to live. Peace, happiness, and friendship were just three of many words used to describe the legendary lands. But like everything, it was never meant to be forever. Seemingly overnight, the Zebras overthrew all of Canterlot, the two Princesses nowhere to be found. Without their leadership, the fragile country of Equestria had no choice but to succumb to the Zebras, who promised to use ancient techniques to raise the sun and moon… At a price.

The ponies were forced into slavery; mere servants for the striped rulers. Life as a pony is terrible, the only existence known to them that of pain and misery. The ones that work without complaining are given enough to live on, grated they work unrealistic hours to serve their new overlords. The ones that don't, they're never heard from again.

But not all hope is lost to the ponies. In the winter, three years after the fall of Equestria, a strange mare finds herself in the ruins of Ponyville. While in the ghost town, she finds a group of survivors, calling themselves the Elements of Harmony. Knowing that hiding forever is a fruitless endeavor, she forms a resistance.

It's time they fought back.
