When Twilight discovers a mysterious object in the sky, no one believes the danger it poses except for Rainbow Dash, who suffered from strange nightmares and had received dark omens foretelling of a grave danger. Together, the two mares race against time to uncover the secrets of the ancient evil which threatens their world, but their efforts are not enough. When they fail to prevent the catastrophe, the fate of Equestria rests on the shoulders of a small group of ponies with the courage and resolve to stand against the darkness. Can they succeed, or will Equestria be lost forever?

Notes:
The Doctor: Doctor Whooves in this fic is represented as Doctor Who in pony form. That means that he shares the same characteristics as the Doctor. I tried to base him on the ninth doctor (played by Christopher Eccleston in the first series of the 2005 revival), but I took a couple liberties with the personality. If there's something you don't understand, feel free to leave a comment asking about it and I'll respond.

Rating: It's bloody. I've been told by a reader that there were certain scenes he couldn't read right after eating, so I went ahead and stopped trying to fight it. It's mature, and the gore isn't EVERYWHERE, but it's pretty ghastly where it is. As an update, I've decided that there will be no sex scenes, so the sex tag has been removed.
