A Nation Torn

Trixie's Laugh was chilling

She laughed as if not a care in the world crossed her mind. as everypony was glaring at her, Fluttershy turned her head to see a mass of darkness.

"um...p-pardon me" she muttered, but no one heard her. The mass soon stood between the two groups, Trixie, and The Elements of Harmony. The Mass was a group of black hooded ponies, except the head of the group, who was gray in color, a white and black mane, and a cutie mark that resembled the brain, and a horn stood proudly from his skull. Everypony was staring at the large piece of metal on his back.

" Why ,hello there" they all noticed how his voice was smooth as silk. " My name is Psyche, i have traveled a far distance to be here." He had a smile that never left his face.  His group never shifted, they all stood still.His head turned to Trixie. " Why, The Great and Powerful Trixie,i am Honored to meet you" he bowed slowly, lifting her hoof to his lips. She blushed , and in her moment of letting her guard down, Psyche used his magic and drew the metal and made it come down on Trixie's neck. The blade didn't  go deep but crimson ran down . Everypony was stunned, a few screamed, a few ran, but most not dared to move. The corpse fell with a sickening thud. " Ha, Great and powerful..." he smiled and he took the amulet off the body and put it around his neck. Twilight threw a rock at him, he caught it.

" What in Celestia are you thinking!?" Yelled Twilight. He ignored her and turned to them, a little blood splattered on his face. "So your all going down?" he addressed the six standing in front of him. No movement, no expression changed. " Fine then" he shrugged and drew the blade. " Also, this is called a sword, and advantage that you lack" he smiled and charged right as Twilight first, She jumps to the side and  the blade drags across her side, she cries out, and the twisted Colt bucks into the side of her head knocking her unconscious. The next to charge is Rainbow Dash, shes able to hit him with her wing, bit not before he clips it with his sword. "AHHH!" the cry was the last thing heard before she crashed into a building, enough force to break the wall, no doubt she was dead.

The last one to charge was Apple Jack, she saw her coming and turned to meet her  running and the blade connected with her neck, blood splattered everywhere and the head rolled to his feet . " Pathetic. " He lifts the hat and sees ' AJ' written in a child like form.

Pinkie, Rarity, and Fluttershy Watched with horror, they were knocked unconscious. The blood covered pony turns to his mass of followers. " Gentlemen, lets get started" she scoops blood onto his hoof and draws a symbol in the dirt, its a large circle, with three more circles, one with the Alicorn amulet drawn in one, A crystal drawn in the second, and a laughing face drawn in the other. Psyche standing in the middle, the ponies in hoods place the items on the circles, The fur of Discord, The horn of Sombra , and the Alicorn amulet. The all used magic and fired it on psyche, a magic blast, one that shook the ground, blasted through ponyviile, killing everyone and putting it to ruin. In the smoldering ruins, Psyche and Cultists stood, a glowing orb formed, then dissolved Reviling an amulet that was glowing with a wicked energy, it had no shape, it was and oval, but surged with energy.

Psyche turned to his cult. " Lets not stand around ,we have and empire to build" he laughed a cold laugh, the wind shifting in an uneasy direction. The dust settles and the mans hoofs clop against the silent earth. " look out equestria, your new king is on its way" The wicked smile crosses his face
