It was a beautiful and sunny day. Rainbow Dash was walking across SugarCube Corner when she saw Applejack rushing to her.
"Hey Dash, You wanna help me on sum'thin?" Said Applejack.
"Yeah sure, why not?"She replied.
"Then you better get ready to buck sum' apples!" Applejack exclaimed.
The two then proceeded to going into a distant apple farm of Applejack's family. What they don't know is, this day might change their lives.. Forever.
"The little brat's gotta go.." An unknown voice said.. "I'll get you Fifty-Thousand bits. No strings attached. Just eliminate her."
"As you wish. But, seriously? fifty-thousand bits for a small target?" Another unknown voice replied.
"Yes. and take down anyone with her. Leave no witnesses."
"Heh, why is this place so far anyway?"Rainbow Dash asked.
"This is the sacred apple farm of my kin. This was the first one ever created in the history of my family. My great-great-great-great-great Grandfather and Grandmother took care of it. That's why this place is so far away from main Ponyville." She Replied.
"Seems Legit,"Dash murmurs to herself.
As the two were walking, Applejack heard a strange tree-shaking. Bushes were shaking, too.
"Who be there??" Shouted Applejack.
Suddenly, the unknown Colt summoned a Magic Bow from his horn and held it. The bow was very blue and you could see magical energies flowing through it. The Colt fired a shot but missed. A small patch of ground around it was decayed. They knew this was no ordinary assassin.
"Applejack! Go! Warn the others!" Rainbow Dash shouted.
"What about yah?" She Replied.
"Don't worry about me! I'll be fine!"
As Applejack came running as fast as he could to warn the other ponies, She was shot with an arrow. It pierced through her hind leg as if it was nothing. Her knee was in pretty bad shape. Blood came spewing out of it. A shout of agony struck fear at Rainbow Dash. She was demoralized. Her friend was hit with an arrow to the knee. And she could do nothing about it. The only way to avenge Applejack was if she could finally kill the assassin and know who sent him.
Rainbow Dash, without warning, Quickly flies towards the colt. The force was enough to make his torso bleed a little. The blood covered Rainbow Dash's face. She had to wipe her face clean of it.The assassin quickly drew a knife from his leg. Alas. Rainbow Dash was stabbed in the Right side of her body. The knife was stuck. The assassin quickly drew out his bow, and aimed it for her head.
"Say my regards to King Sombra for me."
While he was aiming for it, Rainbow Dash was successfully able to loosen the knife. She quickly kicked the bow, stood up, and stabbed the colt right in the eye.Rainbow Dash's mane was now red. Covered with blood. Her face looked like she was from a massacre. She quickly searched his body and found a little note with a name and address.
"Lightning Dust."
Rainbow Dash quickly figured it out. It was a crime of Jealousy. For the sake of her friends. She knew she had to kill her. She quickly went to tend her friend Applejack. She was covered in blood. Her entire hind legs were filled with blood.
"Applejack! are you okay?"
"Yeah, go.. and kill her for me.."
"What about you?"
"Just, leave me be.."
"Okay."
Rainbow Dash fled to Lightning Dust's house. Unbeknownst to her, Applejack slowly followed her.
"ding-dong" The bell rang. Lightning Dust opened the door and found herself with a hoof to the face. Rainbow Dash quickly grabbed her and slammed her to the shelves. Lightning Dust grabbed a broken bottle of wine and held it tightly.
"It's time we end this."Lightning Dust said.
"Bring it On."She replied.
Rainbow Dash quickly charged her but she was knocked down and was out cold. Lightning Dust quickly grabbed a knife and stabbed her. But her important parts was not hit. Lightning Dust quickly grabbed a crossbow from her wall and aimed it at Rainbow Dash. The fear that struck Rainbow Dash cannot be measured by any words right now. Simply . It was fear.
"Goodbye." She said with a matching chuckle.
Without warning Applejack jumped through the window and they were in a tussle. Applejack kept hitting her with fists while Lightning Dust couldn't do anything but defend. Rainbow Dash tried to reach for the crossbow, but Lightning Dust quickly pushed Applejack, kicked away the crossbow and stomped on Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash now had only one way to end this. The Knife. As Applejack And Lightning Dust was fighting for their lives, Rainbow Dash loosened the knife, and was waiting for the right opportunity. Lightning Dust was now on top of Applejack, with this, She flew fists at Applejack until Rainbow Dash threw the knife.
Lightning Dust was hit right in the head. Red blood was being spewed. The sight of it disgusted Rainbow Dash.
"Wow. Headshot." Rainbow Dash said.
She then passes out as Lightning Dust blood reached her.
Applejack woke her up.
"Hey, hey Rainbow.."
"Yeah Applejack?" She Replied
"Its over. She's dead. we can go back home now." She said with glee.
"All of this happened just because we had to buck some apples.."
The Local Authorities quickly came after Applejack told them everything. Rainbow Dash was supposed to be arrested for murder, but she was released under Celestia's order.
"Thanks for cutting me some slack Princess!" Dash said.
"No problem Rainbow Dash." The princess replied.
"Why, why did she have to do that?" Rainbow Dash thought to herself, " She really didn't have to do all that. Violence never solves anything.. But sometimes, when someone uses violence, you use violence too.. I am sorry. "
