It was a nice peace filled day in the la- BAM!!!!
“TWILIGHT SPARKLE!!!” sounds a booming voice next to a bucked front door.
“Wha??” a purple unicorn pony looks up from her oak wooden desk. Messy purple mane. Weary raccoon eyes.
“You…,” the orange-ish pony pants furiously as she scampered toward the Twilight Sparkle, “You ruined me Ms. Sparkle!!!”
“Whaa???”
“You are the reason I spent so many years looking…!” seemed the orange grey maned pony was so worked up spit was foaming from the side of her mouth. “Now that I’ve found you I can re-claim what was mine and reduce you to the years of torcher that I suffered from you!!” The orange pony raised her hoof in a dramatic attempt to exaggerate her claim.
“Whaaa??” Twilight so confused from her surprised visit she had her tongue lazily hang out of her mouth.
“Uhhhg, remember Twilight???” sighed the orange pony. “We were in grade school?? You know, where you’d always hammer on about wanting to be an alicorn princess and be aside Celestia and rule the lands with love?? Casting Spells and knowledge, it’s like the only thing that came out of your dirty women mouth!”
“Grade School??”
“Yes, we were the best of pony pals.” Said Orangey horsey “An you were a total dork.”
“Friends?? Nono, I didn’t have any friends in school.” Twilight said readjusting in her little chair to get a better view of organ pony dude.
“Well, I WAS BEFORE YOU BANISHED ME TO 60,606 YEARS OF A HELLISH NIGHTMARE AFTER YOU LEARNED THAT ‘BANISH YOUR FRIEND TO HELL FOR 60,606 YEARS’ BOOK AND I MISSED OUT ON COMPLETING MY TEST AND MEETING THE PRINCESS!!!” yelled the orange pony full of anger. “When I didn’t show up I failed and since you where the second brightest in the class you got be her personal student, not me!”
“Ohh??”
“I WAS SUPOST TO BE THE ROYAL STUDENT AND THE ELEMNT OF MAGIC NOT YOUU!!! I deserve it!! I studied hard every night! I demand the crown Twilight back!” Demanded ooange pony
“Waiit, back up. WTF is your name??” Twilight asked.
“Shining Dusk!” Slamed the pony with her hoof making a hollow sound against the oak desk knocking a quill of ink off.
“Well Mrs.Dlusk of Sining,” Twilight assured. “I’m sure we can work this out in a non-violent and agreeable way the will make up both happy. Yes?”
“Like what??” Shinings eyes grew. Ehhk.

Loud horns buzz. The seated crowd cheers. “We’ll compete in the Pony Olympics’ 2007!!” Twilight said. Adjusting her sweat bands.
“2013.” Shining corrected. She was all set and ready to compete. Stretching to get her body loose.
“Wut?” Twilight’s tongue was out.
“The events that you will run feature of a number to 15 total events.” Said Princess Celestia in her clear calm, majestic and strong tone. The 3 ponies where the only ones on the field besides a few other guards that where setting up the events. The grass was green.
“Why yes princess” Bowed Shining.
“Wuuu….” Twilight was able to mutter from her mouth.
“The events that you will be consisting of Hurtling, Fencing, Weight Lifting, Fishing and the most popular the 20 mile dash that will be the grand finale to finish the tournament and will determine who is going to win the right to be my faithful student.” Princess said looking over the two ponies.
“Uhhuhuhhhh,” mutter Twilight trying to speak but remembering that it is easier to speak with your tongue in your mouth. Fun fact.
“Of course Princess.” Shining sung.
“Uhmm, yoyo Princess C-bear, can I like not do any of that??” asked Twilight with a dumb look on her face.
“I am sorry Twilight Sparkle but if you want to be beside me you must compete. It is your only option.” Princess said. “Don’t disappoint me.” She said in a tone that seemed much deeper than her usual speak, before flying off to a little podium that stood over the crowd and stadium.
“Uhhhg.” Twilight sighed with a hunch in her back. She wasn’t much of one to over thing orders from the Princess, but she just wasn’t exactly sure how physical activity would be of any help in a job that requires brains and quick reflexes. As most thoughts though she ignored it and focused on how she’d beat Shingih Dusk in all 15 events and not be banished to 60,606 years of hell like Shining Dusk went through.
Twilight glanced at the princess in the podium. Twilight liked her butt.
“Twilight, are ya’ sure you’re up for this??” Ask AppleJack behind a wire fence. “Do ya’ll really need ah risk it all just for this??”
“Silly, silly un-informed AppleJack,” Twilight said slowly so AppleJack could understand. “There is no way I would lose this. Not with all the books I’ve read. I got this in the bag. Do you know what a ‘bag’ is AppleJack??”
“Ahh, Twilight you spent so much time working and to just throw it all away on some dumb competition just ain’t right.” AppleJack said honestly. “Ah’ belive that ya’ll should reconsider and talk to the princess about pulling this whole thing out. It’s really not worth it!”
“Pfff,” spittled Twilight, “Whats the worst that could happen A-a-a-a-appleJa-a-a-ack!!??”
AppleJack just stared at Twilight with a worried expression. “Just try your hardest, please.”
“Come on, I got this in the bag dude!!” Cocked Twilight “I’d say wish me luck if I hadn’t already had it in the bag. ‘Cause I don’t need it. ‘Cause it’s in the bag!”

Twilight collapsed on to the grassy grass ground with a thud. Covered in sweat (and a bit of blood), she was exhausted. The completions where a lot harder than she had expected. And Shining was a lot stronger. Or maybe she just seemed strong from Twilight not running in almost 10 years.
“Twilight Sparkle score 0. Shining Dusk score 14!!” A pony announced over the mic. The crowd cheered in Shining Dusks honor. Twilight sighed with a look of depression and hopelessness. How would she win now that Shining was 14 points ahead, out of 15.
“WHAT’D I SAY TWILIGHT??? WHAT’D I FRICKIN SAY???” AppleJack shouted behind the fence. Twilight kept her glance to the ground ashamed to look at her friend. “Now ya’ll ‘er done. There is no wa-“ Applejack was interrupted by a majestic voice from over the mic.
“Eheem,” Princess cleared her throat. “The next and final completion is the 20 mile race. That is 80 times around the track, plus, an extra one for giggles.” Princess said with a quick grin. She loved giggles Twilight remembered. “Winning this race will be a reward of 15 points total.”
“WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWHAATT?????” screeched Shining un-aware of how rude she’d come across. The fans that where standing next to her for auto graphs slowly slithered away to not get hit by her rage. “THIS IS UN FAIR IF TWILIGHT WINS SHE’LL GET MORE POINTS THAN ME AND WIN, SO ALL THE OTHER COMPETITIONS WERE POINTLESS!!!” Shining stared at Celectia with the same red eyes as she did early this morning when she met Twilight.
“Ehehehhhm.” Celestial cleared her throat in front of the mic. Everything was silent. There was a pause. “Life.” Celestia said. Shining twitched.
“Sweet, if I can just run 20 miles and beat Shining Dusk everything will go back to normal!” Twilight said jumping up from the ground with a burst of energy.
“I knew there was still hope for ya’!” AppleJack chirped. “Come on Twilight you can win this now!”
“Yes I am!”
“No you’re not!” Shining said. Rage filled her voice. “There is no way I’m gonna let you win this. I worked to hard to give up now.” Shinging grapped Twilight and helt her up at eye level, “YOU’RE GOING DOWN FAGGOT!” she screeched.
Twilight gulped nervously while a red pony alerted to two ponies to get ready. Will Twilight make it? The flare gun was shot and the two started off down the track.

13 miles under way, Twilight had trucked right behind Shining Dusk the whole way in pursuit for first. It was obvious that both of the ponies where exhausted and couldn’t go on like this much longer. Panting loudly, it was all that could be heard as the two mares ran around and around the track. Most of the audience had bored themselves out or had fallen asleep from the boredom.
Twilight looked at the princess who was eyeing both of them. Carefully watching every gallop on the track. Twilight glanced at AppleJack who looked just as nervous as ever. Especially behind that huge fence. Twilight then glanced at Shining. ‘Her eyes where so pretty’ thought Twilight. So was her butt.
“How am I ever going to win this race if we run the same speed and distance.” thought Twilight. “She has to give up sometime!” Twilight looked into Shining’s eyes again. They were so determined. This can’t be good. Twilight could only think of one option that would suffice. But she wasn’t sure. “I just gotta win.”
As the two ponies raced on, step by step, never losing a beat. Twilight just kept looking in to Shinings pretty eyes. Twilight got the thought, maybe she should be the royal student. I mean, Twilight had already been her student for so long. Maybe Shining should win.
Twilight thought for a moment. “Nah,” Twilight closed her eyes and her horn had an ere dark glow surrounding it. Twilight muttered words, to abstract to understand. Twilight opened her eyes reviling a hollow blackness that now consumed in them. Twilight kept running as Shining ignored Twilight’s weirdness. Shining was to focused to pay attention to the silly purple pony.
Then all of a sudden the track where Shining was running got unrealistically hot. It felt like as she was running on a stove. A symbol appeared. A strange symbol that represented some sort of evil ritual. It felt like it was sucking her down.
With shock Shining managed to jump out of the symbol avoiding it. Never the less Twilight was there and slammed her body into Shining pushing her back into the symbol that was now surrounded by hot flame
“What the… Twilight what’d you do??” screeched the pony that couldn’t move. She was stuck in the circle. She tried to move but her body wouldn’t listen. As if they were under a evil spell. Shining looked at Twilight. She has race ahead of her. Twilights tongue was hanging out of her mouth. She had a dumb look on her face as usual. Eyes normal.
Right before Shining could say another word hundreds of shard black as night tentacles formed out of the ground and towered over Shining. Wrapping around her body and pulling her in to the ground. The pain was un bearable. Ya’ know?
“How could you!! This is cheating!!!” Shining was able to mutter. As the tentacles pierced into her skin. Getting a nice grip before pulling her down completely. Fire rising. “I’ll get you someday Sparkle… SOME DAYYYY….” Then there was no more Shining. She had emerged into the fiery of blackness of the ferry symbol. Gone for good? There was an explosion of white and purple sparkles and then there was no sign of any symbol, ShiningDusk or fire.
Twilight passed the finish line, screaming in joy. The crowd awoken by the horror had watched Twilight in silent. Mouths oprn from shock. Even AppleJack had a hallow look. “Princess did ya’ see?? I won!! I’m your student again!!” Twilight cheered in the silence.
“Yes, I knew you wouldn’t let me down. I can always trust you Twilight Sparkle.” Princess Celectia said majestically. Flying off the podium to Twilight, “You are my most faithful student.”
“Oh gosh Princess… you’re so sweet.” Twilight said goofily. Cheeks red from blushing so.
Then they kissed.
