Pinkie Pie and Scootaloo

Previous Chapter

"Oopsie, sorry Mr." The pink mare said, before bursting into a loud gasp. "Say, are you new? What's your name? I'm Pinkamena Diane Pie, but you can call me Pinkie; everyone does. Hey! Where're ya from? I'm from here, of course!" The rapid speed of her voice and words made Felix dizzy and rather confused, before regaining self control. "Why, I'm Fix-It-Felix Jr, ma'am. From the game 'Fix-It-Felix Jr'. I'm sort of not supposed to be here, but if you could tell me where I can find-"

"A video game?! It's either that ya hit your head on the landing or you're really here, in the real world."

"Why, yes, Ms. Pinkie. I sure am! But, I'm kind of looking for my wife, Sgt. Tamora Jean Calhoun, can you direct me to her?"

"Sgt. Tamora Jean Calhoun? Nope! Never heard of her, is she new too? I could help ya find her, if ya'd like."

"Of course, ma'am. Help is all I need. Come on, let's go find her."

"Okie dokie, Felix!" Pinkie exclaimed, as she trotted, or rather hopped along side him, through the little town of PonyVille.

"Man, this place couldn't get any wider." Calhoun muttered to herself, clearly annoyed by the absence of any towns and or ponies of the sort. It was only when she heard the sound of a little filly's cries, did she stop in her tracks- or rather lack of. As she flew closer and closer to the somber source, she found a orange filly with a violet mane and lavender eyes on a little tiny cloud, who was clearly the source of the sound. Feeling bad for the little pegasis, she drew over to the tiny cloud and it's driver. "Hey," She started off, "What's wrong, kid?"

"I-I sort of got stuck on this c-cloud her and," The filly sniffed a little, "I s-sort of can't g-get down.."

"What? But can't ya fly?"

She shook her head, sadly. "My wings are t-too small."

"Well, jump on, kid. I'll take ya down." Calhoun told her, signalling with a jerk of her wing. The little filly hesitated, but took a quick skip onto the stranger's back. With a quick sputter of her wings, they boosted off. During the little speed off, did they encounter a few storm clouds. "Look out!" The filly exclaimed, as she ducked from view. True enough, did Calhoun almost smack into the cloud. But from the way she sprung upwards and how the filly was placed on her back, the little stranger started to fall down; screaming like a scarred little girl. "Hang on, kid!" She yelled, as she flew straight down, making a clear straight line. A trail of red light sprung off of her tail and from the way she was gaining speed, she knew that it would take a miracle for them not to plunge into a small town; down below. As the filly was about to fall into the hay roof of a small town's store, Sarge suddenly sprung into a straight horizontal line, catching the young stranger before close and possible injury. The red line of light burst into a flame filled and smokey trail, which caught the attention of everyone below. The two made a smooth landing and all the citizens cheered and whistled at the little rescue. The orange coated pegasis hopped off of her back and gave Calhoun large and thankful eyes. "Thank you, Lady! What's your name?" She asked.

"It's Sgt. Tamora Jean Calhoun. But I prefer Sarge, if you'd please."

"Well, I'm Scootaloo and thank you so much for helping my down and saving me from a terrible smash."

"Yeah, Ms, ya sure did a mighty fine job." A stallion agreed along.

"It was fantastic!"

"Amazing!"

The town's people cheered and stomped there hooves, leaving a blushing and flattered Calhoun to sheepishly grin. Thanks and even more were being shouted and exclaimed and just for a small favor for such a small filly. "Tammy!" A little light blue colt shouted, and in an instant, did she knew it was Felix. "Fix it! Oh, I'm so glad that I found you!" They wrapped eachother in a small hug, before the pink mare Pinkie trotted over. "So, you must be Sarge! I'm Pinkie and welcome to PonyVille!" She shook Calhoun's hoof so fast, that you could see the circles form in her eyes. After a while, a welcome party was suddenly planned by the town and even one to thank the new mare for saving Scootaloo. The mayor even offered a little house in the town, which they took with great appreciation. For a pair of heroes; who's jobs were not much to cheer for, this was quite a day for the little couple. It was only gonna get both better and worse.
