It was extremely peaceful, the wind wasn't blowing and the sky was clear. Everypony was sleeping, but then came a faint sound from far away. It was very quiet, and nopony could hear it. Then the sound was coming closer and could easily be recognized as galloping, the sound seemed to come towards Ponyville, it was getting louder and louder then, an apparition stopped, dead center in Ponyville, it was dressed in a black cloak and hood. The hooded creature then muttered under his breath, ''This is too peaceful of a place...I hate peaceful. When I rule Equestria, nothing will be heard from this place ever again!'' He then evilly laughed the loudest he could to then realize that he was too loud. Several houses started turning on there lights only to find nothing. They then turned off there lights then proceeded to go back to sleep. ''I knew that invisibility spell would come in handy sometime.'' The hooded creature laughed quietly at his own comment. ''The ponies here must be weak, the unicorns could sense me if they're strong enough.'' He said speaking again ready to continue where he was going. The pony then proceeded to trot down a few streets until he found what he was looking for. A giant statue with the name Discord on it. The hooded creature then finally said, ''This must be the one according to rumors, I've spent months trying to perfect the shield breaker spell for this reason." ''If there is anypony who can help me rule Equestria...this would be the one.'' The hooded creature had a glare at the statue, he then proceeded to walk up to the statue which was bathed in a bright light coming from a lamp post, the creature then was too bathed in the light, the hooded figure removed his hood, revealing what he looked like. He was a un-natural Mach black pony with a black and red mane, red was trimmed around the black, making it seem even more un-natural. The pony then proceeded to focus his magic revealing that he was obviously a unicorn, but something wierd happened after he charged up his magic, it wasn't the natural purple, it was an ominous crimson red. He focused the magic on the statue and readied his shield breaker spell.The statue started to crack, the cracking sound got louder and louder.The statue had finally broken,making a loud crashing sound as the stone hit the ground. All the pony could see in front of him was a extremely odd looking dragon, it was just a mix match of animal parts fit to the body off a dragon.The dragon had started to stretch and yawn.The dragon stopped yawning then said under his breath, ''It's been many years since I've been out of that stone. I'm going to take revenge on Celestia and her little subordinates one way or the other, but...who freed me?" The dragon was extremely confused, since Twilight and the other 5 ponies were the only one's who could do this because it was to complex. The dragon then looked down at the pony who freed him. The pony was looking at him in disgust and said, ''Wow, you're a lot uglier than I though you would be!'' The dragon just responded, ignoring the comment, ''I'm Discord-'' but he couldn't finish his sentence,because he was cut off by the pony. ''You're Discord, the draconequus that once ruled Equestria in a state of unrest and unhappiness.But was imprisoned in stone by Princesses and Celestia,and Luna with the Elements of Harmony.'' the pony said in a very flat tone. Discord was astonished at the knowledge this pony knew. "Oh my, you're an intelligent one aren't you." said Discord playfully with a laugh. "Yes and your going to help me take over Equestria." said the pony with an evil grin on his face. ''And why exactly would I do that? I can take over Equestria by myself.'' The pony responded very bluntly, ''No you can't, You couldn't do it twice what makes you think you have a chance without my help.'' but then the pony was stopped.''Well...you sure feel confident that you can take over Equestria with me...so I'll humor you. Let me observe what you're capable of..." said Discord. Then Discord snapped his fingers and a block of stone appeared. The pony walked up to the block and put his hoof on it. He studied the block for a moment then started pressing down on it with his front hoof. He had pressed down on the block as hard as he could. The block broke, shattering it into many pieces. The unicorn just stood there as if it was no problem.Discord was not that impressed. With another snap of his fingers, 8 maniquinns appeared around the pony. The pony quickly reacted and got behind one of the maniquinns. The pony bucked the maniquinn,which went flying,and knocked down 2 other miniquinns. He then dashed to another one and destoyed it instantly. He then simutaniously roundhouse kicked the head off of another maniquinn. The unicorn then stood dead center of where the maniquinns were standing. His horn glowed a bright white, and then a huge blast of wind destroying any maniquinn that were in one piece. A maniquinns head rolled in front of the stallion, as he looked down at it with no emotion, He lifted up his hoof and slammed it down on the head, crushing it into dust. He then looked up, and just stood there staring at Discord.Discord was astonished by the power this pony was capable of. Discord had finally spoken. ''My, my your quite the brutal one aren't you. You showed no sympathy for those maniquinns, I'm thoroughly impressed by your power. But let's be civil shall we, for we have only known each other for minutes. ''Allow me to introduce myself. I am Discord, Ruler of Chaos. And what is your name my little pony?'' The pony responded with, ''Zero. My name is Zero.'' The dragon then placed his hand on his shoulder and said,''Well Zero...lets go 'Remake' Equestria and spread wonderful chaos around the world.But first I want to see that Celestia and her little pests dead as slowly and painfully as possible.'' Zero responded to Discords words. ''In time Discord for now we must 'Remake' the lesser cities and leave nopony standing in happiness.'' Zero let out a maniacal laugh and Discord laughed with him. ''I belive we're going to get along just fine.'' said Discord with an evil grin.''I wish to get this done quickly.The first three cities to fall will be Mustangia,Appleoosa,and...Manehatten.'' said Zero blankly ''Very well'' said Discord with a bow.And they set off for their first target of Mustagia. //-------------------------------------------------------// prologue Record Friction //-------------------------------------------------------// prologue Record Friction The city of Manehatten was a bright and beautiful city.There resided Equestrias greatest DJ,Record Friction.He was widely known and very talented.But there was only one thing he has every truely loved and that was his sister,Vinyl Scratch,whom lives in ponyville.As philies they grew up making music together. Record was an average height unicorn with a light gray coat and a black on blue colored mane,with a tri-spiked tail that matched the color of the mane,with a cutie mark of a vinyl record on fire.Record was thinking of some new music ideas when he dozed off.He was having a dream.But it also seemed familiar to him.he realized it was also a flashback. He saw himself and Vinyl together during Vinyls birthday.He turned and picked up a huge present,about twice the size of Vinyl at the time.She started tearing through it like it was her last present.Her eyes grew wide and she turned to Record and gave him the biggest huge she had ever given anypony.She had gotten her first turntable set.Vinyl got all the wires hooked up but she didn't check the volume and bass level.She played so loud that all the windows in there hometown got blown out.But nopony was upset for at that moment she got her cutie mark and was known for her bass cannon from that moment.At the end of the day Vinyl and Records mother walked up to them with a camera."Vinyl,Record,say DJ."said their mom.As the camera flashed Record woke up on his couch.He rubbed his eyes with his forearm to wake himself up. On the lamp table beside the couch he saw a picture of that day on Vinyls birthday.He remembers everything,the stage in the background,the party in the living room,and him and Vinyl together.He let out a sigh and walked over to his desk.His horn glowed a bright blue and levitated a quill.He dabbed the quill tip into an ink bottle and wrote on a scroll... Dear Vinyl , I know its been a while since we last wrote,but I have made a decision.In the 10 year we haven't seen each other we have kept in touch.So I've decided to leave Manehatten for a while and come visit you for a few months.I'll be coming in by hoof so I can get a taste of the outdoors again.I should arrive in about 1 weeks time.I can't wait to see you again sis. Your loving brother,Record Friction. He gave the scroll to his pet black falcon."Take this to my sister,Vinyl,in Ponyville.you should remember where it's at."said Record.His voice was slightly deep but calm and friendly.The falcon bowed and flew out the window at breakneck speed.Shortly after Records best friends,Cyber and Toxic,came knocking on the door.Cyber and Toxic were the same height as Record.Cyber was a pegasus and had a light blue coat with a silver mane and ragged tail,with a cutie mark of binary codes.Toxic was an earth pony and had a black coat with a neon orange and green mane and tail,his cutie mark was a nuclear bomb symbol."Oh hey guys."said Record. "Hey Record."said both ponies. "Hey you wanna see my latest invention?" asked Cyber. "Oh sorry I can't.I'm getting ready to go to ponyville by hoof and I'm leaving at the crack of dawn." "WOW! Ponyville I've heard alot of things about that place.Hey can we tag along with you ?'' asked Toxic."Sure but you should get home and start packing ASAP because it's gonna be a long walk." "ALRIGHT ROAD TRIP." said Cyber running back to his house.Record let out a slight laugh."Okay I'll meet you here tomorrow Toxic and tell Cyber that too." "Sure thing see ya Record." So here it is...my introduction and prologue are both going to be worked on...Zero's has finally been finished and Record's is being worked on right now. The introduction is just going to have a grammar check and maybe I'll add a few more things. Thanks for reading yet again...you're host DarkZ3ro :) //-------------------------------------------------------// Introduction //-------------------------------------------------------// Introduction Hello fellow bronies and pegasisters, I am DarkZ3ro and I will be writing a fanfic named: The War for Equestria.(No duh, unless you didn't read the name.) in the description there were a few things to watch out for, like blood, sex, vulgar language, OC's(well that's another no fucken duh), and a severely long storyline.(I didn't mention this one in the description so keep this in mind.) If you are a quick reader, which would be one to 10 chapters, this is not for you, if you don't like vinyl scratch,(why wouldn't you like Vinyl Scratch though?) this story is not for you. Also if you are a squeamish person that doesn't like blood and gore,(there's a lot) then this is not for you. Anyway......ignoring what I said before,(forget or not, it's still there) this story will take place between two different POV's throughout most of the story. It will switch POV's from chapter to chapter, and now here's the lowdown, odd chapters will be addressing Zero, one of the main characters of the story, and then even chapters will be my friends character, we are writing this together, but anyway, his characters name is Record Friction. He will be another main character in the story and will be important to the advancement of the storyline. When the story goes up, it will be first talking about the prologue,(both characters, Zero's first, Records second) HERE'S A HUGE REMINDER, Zero's POV and Record's POV will both be taking place at the same time just in different perspective's.(only in chapters, the prologue will be a little off with Record's taking place in the morning and Zero's at night, but it will adjust when the chapters go up.) Before I start uploading chapters, keep in mind that there will be a new chapter every one or 2 weeks depending on how simple the plot is cause I read over my idea's several times to get the plot right, but here's the verdict, I write then type and you sit back and enjoy the imagination at its best.
