The Truth about Darren

It was a piece beautiful clear starry night the 19 aged  Darren is laying on his bonnet of his truck, hands tucked under his head, legs folded over and just admiring the view with out a care in the world. Laying on the bonnet he some times wishes he has a telescope to get a closer look at the cosmos.

If only he knew who his parents were. They would be proud of him for sure. Holding his golden colour necklace with a real purple gem inside in the palm of his hands it’s all he has of his unknown family when he was discovered at the orphanage.

Laying on the same spot his eye lids start to feel heavy and sleep is coming. “I should probably start heading home” saying it like he doesn’t like it the idea “oh but it’s so peaceful and quiet out hear” he argues with himself trying to a decision to either go home to bed or stay out hear under the night sky. “I’m to tired to drive I might fall asleep driving” Darren makes a lame excuse to stay.

Darren is almost about to fall asleep when his trucks alarm goes of giving him a fright followed by the lights going off then the window wipers and all electronic devices are going off all at once in loud noises.

Quickly getting off the bonnet Darren opens the driver door and turns the key to try and stop all the noises to his relief when he turn the key the noises stop. Looking up he sees a bright blue orb hovering a metre above the water with no sound being made. “Holy shit” he says as he is looking at the mysterious floating the orb in awe.

Grabbing his video camera he turns it on and sets it to record and puts it on the counter while he picks up his L96A1 sniper rifle (saved up heaps for it) and some ammo which he puts in his pants and heads out side with the glowing yellow orb hovering just above the water.

Raising the gun up so he can look down the sight was a bad idea flinching because the light blinded him for a few seconds. Slowly walking towards the bright yellow ish orb Darren has his gun aimed but he isn’t looking through the scope this time (wont want to be blinded again)

The glowing orb shoots a beam of light directly at Darren enveloping him in a golden glow and lifts him up and slowly pulls him to the orb.

Darren is struggling to get free moving all his limbs to get out of the grasp that the strange orbs thing that is holding him. Remembering that he has his gun he shots off a bullet into it, only making it to pull faster. Darren tries to cock his gun to put another bullet in its chamber but is not fast enough as he is completely sucked inside and then blacked out.

                                                             Rainbow Dash

Flying high in the sky Rainbow Dash does a few tricks for anyone who is watching. A few spins hear a few spins there and now Rainbow Dash is going to try and do the legendary sonic rain boom.

Going as fast as she can slowly going faster and faster, a cone starts to forms in front of her body eyes watering and tears go flying back behind her head, the cone gets bigger “Almost” she says clutching her teeth. Faster and faster Rainbow Dash goes getting closer and closer to break the sound barrier. Rainbow Dash gets distracted by a bright yellowy goldy coloured lights over by the pond and stops suddenly before getting thrown back into town.

                                                               Twilight

“Thank you so much for helping me clean up all these books. It was a crazy weekend of study” Twilight thanked Applejack, Rarity and Pinkie Pie clean up the library.

“AAAHHHHHHHHHHH” every one in the library heard some pony yelling and it seems to be coming closer. Rainbow Dash crashed through the library window, a big puff of smoke was formed when she hit everything.

Every pony in the library grunted as now all the books were on the ground and not in the shelfs.

“Did you see that” Rainbow Dash flew up to the window she crashed through and looked out towards where she saw the mysterious glowing orb and its still there. “Twilight look” she pointed a hoof at it while looking at the girls in the library.

“What is it now Rainbow?” Twilight says in frustration.

“It’s some sorta glowing thing over by the pond” Rainbow redirects her attention from the messy library to the still golden glowing thing.

Twilight teleported to where Rainbow is and was awestruck as she looked at the golden glowing orb out at the pond. “What is it” Twilight said squinting her eyes to try and get a closer look.

“I don’t know but I’m going to find out” rainbow took off to the glowing orb leaving Twilight and the gang behind.

“Come on girls” Twilight teleports down in a purple flash “We’re going to go find out as well” she says as she heads out the door being followed by Applejack, Rarity, followed by Pinkie Pie bouncing up and down smiling all the way.

                                                             Rainbow

Landing on shore of the lake Rainbow was awestruck looking at the Floating golden orb only inches above the water “What is it?” She says to her self quietly.

The strange phenomenon gets brighter and dimmer with each pulsing light in a rhythmic pattern as it stays there hovering above the water.

“Oh hi Rainbow” Fluttershy said in her quite voice as she landed next to rainbow “Do you know what it is? That is if you don’t mind me asking” she was awestruck as well as Rainbow Dash.

“I-I don’t” Rainbow said not looking away from the pulsing orb.

Twilight along with all the other elements of harmony came walking and bouncing (by Pinkie with her smile as always)  was awestruck just as Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash was.

“I-I haven’t seen anything like this ever before” Twilight says in amazement.

The six girls were watching the phenomenon just inches above the water. Then the orb started getting smaller and smaller and a figure could start to be seen and a stick of some sort. The orb disappeared leaving a pony in its midst’s with his eyes closed and wearing some sort of clothing.

He falls  straight into the water and Rainbow Dash quickly dives in after him. In the water Rainbow Dash could see the figure not moving which means he is unconscious. Swimming after him Rainbow grabs his clothing with her two front hooves and sees the odd stick with the corner of her eye and appears to be made out of some sort of metal, grabbing that with her mouth she took off out of the water.

Putting the stallion on the ground she puts the odd stick on the ground as well. The Elements of Harmony

gathered around the unconscious unicorn he had a white horn and a goldy yellowy colour mane and hair.

“Hay wake up” Rainbow shakes his shoulder to wake him up.

                                                               Darren

‘Stirring’ Darren can feel something shaking his shoulder. Opening his eyes he sees ponies? six of them to be exact. Panicking he scuffles away with his hands “W-what’s going on” Darren says until he hits something. His gun to be exact. He goes to pick it up only he cant grab it “Where are my hands” Darren says looking at his hoof? “W-what’s going on?” He says looking all over his body. He has four hooves a horn, cloths are torn around the collar, the sleeves the legs his socks (oddly he doesn’t have his shoes and belt) over all he’s wet “W-why aren’t I human?” sighing he realizes “Thank god I still have my necklace” Darren praises in relief” He holds his necklace to the best of his ability with his hoofs.

“W-who are you?” a lavender unicorn pony in front of her friends gives a questioning look towards Darren (which she does not know the name of nor do her friends)

“Ok. This has got to be a dream” Darren says closing his eyes and focusing on him self to wake up.

“When I count to three. I should wake up”

“1...

“2...

“3...

Opening his eyes he sees the same five ponies wait five where did the pink one go

“1... He tries to wake up again

“2...

“3” he sees the same five ponies as before and no sight of the pink one.

“I can assure you, you are not dream” the lavender unicorn says

“D-do you know what’s going on?” Darren asks

“No I was hoping you would tell me”

“Fuck I don’t know my self”

“The last thing I remember is… I was chilling on my truck  there was a yellowy goldy colour orb that grabbed me and that’s it. I wake up hear”

“You mentioned something about a humin. What’s that?”

“Oh hush Twilight” A white unicorn with a dark purple stylized mane barged in all lady like “You mustn’t ask so many questions to a poor sole who had some dramatic experience. Come you must be hungry lets get you something to eat then we can get you out of that awful outfit you have on” she taps on my cloths “now would you kindly tell us your name”

“It‘s Darren” Darren said looking around in wounder and a Tinny bit scared

“Well my name is Rarity” the white unicorn with a purple stylized mane and tail.

“This is Twilight” She addressed the lavender unicorn who asked what a human is.

“This is Applejack” Rarity addressed an orange pony which tipped her cowboy hat towards me.

“This is Fluttershy” she mentioned a butter-yellow pegasus who’s hiding behind her pink mane

“And I’m Rainbow Dashed” a rainbow maned pegasus said with pride

“And this is…” Rarity trailed off “Where is pinkie?”
