Chapter 1: Thunder Blur

One day everypony in ponyville prepared for the ponyville grand prix. Rainbowdash was excited to race because she heard there was a new pony in the race. The other Pegasus ponies were excited as well because this race was their chance to be a part of the wonderbolts. Rainbowdash flew to her house to get the goggles she has forgotten. As she went outside she heard somepony singing but their voice didn’t sound familiar they sounded like an angel.

Dash zeroed in on the source of the noise, ears perking up to the melodious tune. She spotted a pony with A red and black mane and a dark navy blue coat .As the pony with the angelic voice stopped singing, Dash approached,  “Hey nice pipes. Can you fly as well as you sing?” She asked.

The pony gave her a quick once-over with his dark yellow eyes, “What’s it to you?”

Rainbowdash left to get back to the track she tells her friends about the pony she had met and that his singing voice was amazing. It’s five minutes until and nopony has seen the new racer everypony just decided that they were a no show and they decided to start without them.

The announcer started the race and Rainbowdash was in the lead when a figure just flew by her and she heard the same music she heard from the pony from earlier,

Rainbow dash just sped up caught up to the figure and said “Hey aren’t you the new racer?”

The pony replied “Yes, do you always ask questions?”

The two ponies decided to show off their talents with Rainbowdash’s sonic rainboom. The mysterious pony did something quite different.   After they flew back up he disappeared and reappeared through a lightning portal that made a symphony of music when he came through and with the lightning he made an eighth note in the sky, he called it symphonic blur.

After the race was over the pony finally revealed himself as Thunderblur he was in his hometown’s flight squad and had badges and medals not only for flying but also for music.

“My cutie mark was earned when I had an air concert in canterlot.” said Thunderblur.  “Also I have a message Twilight Sparkle it’s from your brother.”

Twilight opened the letter and read it, it said…

Dear Twily,

Cadence and I are holding an event forRainbow Dash’s becoming a wonderbolt.  Please do not tell her we are doing this until Thunderblur’s job is complete.   If you do it’ll result in great consequences that’ll threaten the fate of Ponyville.

Thunderblur spent much of his time talking about his brother Lightning Grinder, and how he is his arch rival and who was banished from Equestria. “The story goes like this.”  Thunder said with a mysterious tone.  “when we were kids me and my brother were the best of friends every day we’d race, play games, and exercise for the wonderbolts, but one day we got into a really serious race that almost killed us when we flew through the darkest parts of the everfree forest things changed, my brother became bad, impulsive, devious, nothing like his former self.”  He and Rainbow Dash flew to Applejack’s farm to get her to go to Canterlot.

“Howdy ya’ll what can I do you for?” Applejack said cheerfully.  Rainbowdash chimed in and told applejack all about the trip to canterlot and how she heard thunder’s singing, and how he’s entertaining princess cadence. Applejack agreed and they were on their way. When they were going to town they heard something on the way there, it sounded like laughing. Thunderblur shuttered and lowered his wings. After a while, a bush started to shake, Rainbowdash and applejack looked at each other with a smirk and applejack said “Hey thunderblur you should go check it out unless, you’re chicken.” Frustrated he said “Hey I’m not chicken!” as he nears the bush it rattles again, thunderblur moves a little bit closer. Then Pinky Pie jumps out and surprises him, scared he says “You could’ve given me a heart attack. Pinky exclaims “I’ve never seen you before. Are you new to ponyville? well of course you are because I know everypony here am I right rainbowdash?

In town everypony was packed and ready to go “Well guys time to go canterlot rarity and fluttershy are waiting.” Twilight said.
