Lightning Grinder

The sky changed into a red color as if an evil presence were amidst it stayed this way for hours.  Pranceton flew with Rainbowdash and Thunder Blur to check out the scene, what they say was disturbing they found a petrified pony coming through a portal, but they wondered what was pushing it through.  They took a deeper look it was Lightning Grinder.  He didn’t look like he did years ago, his mane was short, his hair was grey and his eyes were a crimson red color.  He looks at the pegasi and flies right through them catching them off guard.

Pranceton flew to get his medallion hoping it would aid him and his friends.

“Blur keep him distracted, Rainbowdash you came with me.” As the others left, Blur began to sing a song about his brother, Grinder was listening but nothing changed.

“You fool!” he exclaimed. “Do you think that your singing will get you anywhere? Equestria is now mine!”

“Stop Grinder you cannot do this.” yelled Celestia. “You need to make up with your brother, he loves you very much and he wants you to come home.”

Grinder interrupted “I will never go home, not with him.”

Twilight used her magic to trap Grinder but instead of trapping him, he absorbed the magic and became stronger. While he was occupied Rainbow Dash grabbed him and did a sonic rainboom.

Pranceton showed up with Shining Armor and Rainbow Dash wearing an enchanted armor made of the finest metal in Equestria.  Shining Armor threw the medallion to Blur but, Grinder intercepted and caught it around his neck, the sky lit up and he changed.

After he changed he fell to the ground with an aura of magic around him that didn’t come from any of the unicorns.  He’s unconscious and the other ponies went to check on him to make sure he was okay.  Twilight pulled off the medallion, and Grinder twitched, his eyes opened, and he flew away. “

We have to stop him.” Blur yelled.

“Let him leave.” Said Pranceton. “You saw him he’s back to normal let him do what he has to do what he has to do.”

The ponies decided to take the time to relax and rest, Rainbowdash was tired, Applejack was covered in scratches, Rarity was covered in dirt, Twilight was weak, and somehow pinkie pie was left unscathed.  Fluttershy took care of everypony and made sure they were okay.

Thunder Blur flew off to find his little brother; he was soon accompanied by Pranceton.   The pegasi had worried looks on their faces; the presence of grinder left an eerie feeling across the land.  The next thing they saw was an old scarf.

They followed the scarf to a volcano with lightning shooting out of it, they flew a little close and they see Lightning Grinder crying and sobbing asking himself

“what did I do wrong? Why am I like this?”

Blur flew to him and said “There is nothing wrong, you just got overwhelmed.”

The brothers talked about what happened over the course of six years.

Chapter 3: Lightning Grinder returns

A few hours passed and the brothers flew to Canterlot to set the stage for Thunder Blur’s concert and Rainbow Dash’s secret ceremony.  Princess Cadence had Twilight and Rarity decorate, Pinkie pie was rehearsing the pony pokey, Flutter Shy had some animals singing help Applejack made snacks and saw angel hiding in the pie

“Um, FlutterShy, Angel’s in the pie.” Apple Jack said.

         “Now Angel get out of the pie you’re going to get dirty.” Said Fluttershy.

Rainbow Dash walked into the hall with a worried look on her face.  She continued through the building to find something interesting to look at.  The only thing she found was a book titled “Equestria’s Greatest Pegasi”.  Rainbow Dash flipped through it ans came across a Pegasus with a yellow mane and tail and his eyes had white irises, the description read “King of the Pegasi, Thunder Blur”.  The mare was interested and kept reading, the book made a reference to another call “King of Thunder”.  Rainbow Dash ran to twilight with both of the books.

“Twilight you gotta read this!” Rainbow Dash yelled.

Twilight was confused and levitated the book to where she could read them.

“Thunder Blur’s a king?” Twilight said surprised.  “No this can’t be right, this book is almost a thousand years old.”

The ponies were just finishing up their tasks when Thunder Blur and Pranceton flew in with Lightning Grinder.  The room was very quiet except for Derpy breaking dishes in the kitchen.

Thunder Blur spoke up “What’s wrong with everypony?”

Twilight answered, “You’re over a thousand years old it said so in the books.”

Blur replied. “That’s my ancestor but, despite this I’m only the fifth pony to claim the name.”

Rainbow Dash chimed in, “The books also say that anypony that carries the name is cursed and will become the ruler of the pegasi.”

Blur’s eye’s widened, he couldn’t decide whether to be happy or to be upset because he knew that this will make him lose his memory if he becomes a king.

Grinder and Pranceton looked astonished and surprised.  Again the room filled with silence the night was slowly coming, after the sun set and the moon rose Princess Luna Flew into the hall and used her canterlot voice to say hello to the ponies.  Grinder turned to Luna and returned the favor, this surprised Luna and every pony laughed as the princess rubbed her ear.

“Twilight help me find out more about this curse I knew I would be king of the pegasi but I didn’t know that it came with a curse, there has to be a way to that it can be lifted.” Thunder Blur said in worried tone. Twilight agreed to this and started heading to the palaces library.  They were halfway there when Pranceton ran to Thunder Blur.

“Here take my medal they said it belongs to the king of the pegasi.”

Pranceton gave Blur his medal. The medallion snapped onto Blur’s neck and during all of this the medal glowed along with Blur’s eyes and for about five seconds the other two ponies witnessed Thunder Blur as a king, but this frightened them he looked like a pegasus version of king Sombra.  Afterwardsthe lights dimmedand everything was normal.

“Talked about a light show!” said pinkie pie scaring the ponies.

The ponies continued to the library to find out why thunder blur is cursed.
