Rainbowdash was excited to race because she heard there was a new pony in the race. The other Pegasus ponies were excited as well because this race was their chance to be a part of the wonderbolts. Rainbowdash flew to her house to get the goggles she has forgotten. As she went outside she heard somepony singing but their voice didn’t sound familiar they sounded like an angel. Dash zeroed in on the source of the noise, ears perking up to the melodious tune. She spotted a pony with A red and black mane and a dark navy blue coat .As the pony with the angelic voice stopped singing, Dash approached,  “Hey nice pipes. Can you fly as well as you sing?” She asked. The pony gave her a quick once-over with his dark yellow eyes, “What’s it to you?” Rainbowdash left to get back to the track she tells her friends about the pony she had met and that his singing voice was amazing. It’s five minutes until and nopony has seen the new racer everypony just decided that they were a no show and they decided to start without them. The announcer started the race and Rainbowdash was in the lead when a figure just flew by her and she heard the same music she heard from the pony from earlier, Rainbow dash just sped up caught up to the figure and said “Hey aren’t you the new racer?” The pony replied “Yes, do you always ask questions?” The two ponies decided to show off their talents with Rainbowdash’s sonic rainboom. The mysterious pony did something quite different.   After they flew back up he disappeared and reappeared through a lightning portal that made a symphony of music when he came through and with the lightning he made an eighth note in the sky, he called it symphonic blur. After the race was over the pony finally revealed himself as Thunderblur he was in his hometown’s flight squad and had badges and medals not only for flying but also for music. “My cutie mark was earned when I had an air concert in canterlot.” said Thunderblur.  “Also I have a message Twilight Sparkle it’s from your brother.” Twilight opened the letter and read it, it said… Dear Twily, Cadence and I are holding an event forRainbow Dash’s becoming a wonderbolt.  Please do not tell her we are doing this until Thunderblur’s job is complete.   If you do it’ll result in great consequences that’ll threaten the fate of Ponyville. Sincerely, Shining Armor Thunderblur spent much of his time talking about his brother Lightning Grinder, and how he is his arch rival and who was banished from Equestria. “The story goes like this.”  Thunder said with a mysterious tone.  “when we were kids me and my brother were the best of friends every day we’d race, play games, and exercise for the wonderbolts, but one day we got into a really serious race that almost killed us when we flew through the darkest parts of the everfree forest things changed, my brother became bad, impulsive, devious, nothing like his former self.”  He and Rainbow Dash flew to Applejack’s farm to get her to go to Canterlot. “Howdy ya’ll what can I do you for?” Applejack said cheerfully.  Rainbowdash chimed in and told applejack all about the trip to canterlot and how she heard thunder’s singing, and how he’s entertaining princess cadence. Applejack agreed and they were on their way. When they were going to town they heard something on the way there, it sounded like laughing. Thunderblur shuttered and lowered his wings. After a while, a bush started to shake, Rainbowdash and applejack looked at each other with a smirk and applejack said “Hey thunderblur you should go check it out unless, you’re chicken.” Frustrated he said “Hey I’m not chicken!” as he nears the bush it rattles again, thunderblur moves a little bit closer. Then Pinky Pie jumps out and surprises him, scared he says “You could’ve given me a heart attack. Pinky exclaims “I’ve never seen you before. Are you new to ponyville? well of course you are because I know everypony here am I right rainbowdash? In town everypony was packed and ready to go “Well guys time to go canterlot rarity and fluttershy are waiting.” Twilight said. //-------------------------------------------------------// Forgive me //-------------------------------------------------------// Lightning Grinder The sky changed into a red color as if an evil presence were amidst it stayed this way for hours.  Pranceton flew with Rainbowdash and Thunder Blur to check out the scene, what they say was disturbing they found a petrified pony coming through a portal, but they wondered what was pushing it through.  They took a deeper look it was Lightning Grinder.  He didn’t look like he did years ago, his mane was short, his hair was grey and his eyes were a crimson red color.  He looks at the pegasi and flies right through them catching them off guard. Pranceton flew to get his medallion hoping it would aid him and his friends. “Blur keep him distracted, Rainbowdash you came with me.” As the others left, Blur began to sing a song about his brother, Grinder was listening but nothing changed. “You fool!” he exclaimed. “Do you think that your singing will get you anywhere? Equestria is now mine!” “Stop Grinder you cannot do this.” yelled Celestia. “You need to make up with your brother, he loves you very much and he wants you to come home.” Grinder interrupted “I will never go home, not with him.” Twilight used her magic to trap Grinder but instead of trapping him, he absorbed the magic and became stronger. While he was occupied Rainbow Dash grabbed him and did a sonic rainboom. Pranceton showed up with Shining Armor and Rainbow Dash wearing an enchanted armor made of the finest metal in Equestria.  Shining Armor threw the medallion to Blur but, Grinder intercepted and caught it around his neck, the sky lit up and he changed. After he changed he fell to the ground with an aura of magic around him that didn’t come from any of the unicorns.  He’s unconscious and the other ponies went to check on him to make sure he was okay.  Twilight pulled off the medallion, and Grinder twitched, his eyes opened, and he flew away. “ We have to stop him.” Blur yelled. “Let him leave.” Said Pranceton. “You saw him he’s back to normal let him do what he has to do what he has to do.” The ponies decided to take the time to relax and rest, Rainbowdash was tired, Applejack was covered in scratches, Rarity was covered in dirt, Twilight was weak, and somehow pinkie pie was left unscathed.  Fluttershy took care of everypony and made sure they were okay. A few hours passed and the brothers flew to Canterlot to set the stage for Thunder Blur’s concert and Rainbow Dash’s secret ceremony.  Princess Cadence had Twilight and Rarity decorate, Pinkie pie was rehearsing the pony pokey, Flutter Shy had some animals singing help Applejack made snacks and saw angel hiding in the pie “Um, FlutterShy, Angel’s in the pie.” Apple Jack said.          “Now Angel get out of the pie you’re going to get dirty.” Said Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash walked into the hall with a worried look on her face.  She continued through the building to find something interesting to look at.  The only thing she found was a book titled “Equestria’s Greatest Pegasi”.  Rainbow Dash flipped through it ans came across a Pegasus with a yellow mane and tail and his eyes had white irises, the description read “King of the Pegasi, Thunder Blur”.  The mare was interested and kept reading, the book made a reference to another call “King of Thunder”.  Rainbow Dash ran to twilight with both of the books. “Twilight you gotta read this!” Rainbow Dash yelled. Twilight was confused and levitated the book to where she could read them. “Thunder Blur’s a king?” Twilight said surprised.  “No this can’t be right, this book is almost a thousand years old.” The ponies were just finishing up their tasks when Thunder Blur and Pranceton flew in with Lightning Grinder.  The room was very quiet except for Derpy breaking dishes in the kitchen. Thunder Blur spoke up “What’s wrong with everypony?” Twilight answered, “You’re over a thousand years old it said so in the books.” Blur replied. “That’s my ancestor but, despite this I’m only the fifth pony to claim the name.” Rainbow Dash chimed in, “The books also say that anypony that carries the name is cursed and will become the ruler of the pegasi.” Blur’s eye’s widened, he couldn’t decide whether to be happy or to be upset because he knew that this will make him lose his memory if he becomes a king. Grinder and Pranceton looked astonished and surprised.  Again the room filled with silence the night was slowly coming, after the sun set and the moon rose Princess Luna Flew into the hall and used her canterlot voice to say hello to the ponies.  Grinder turned to Luna and returned the favor, this surprised Luna and every pony laughed as the princess rubbed her ear. “Twilight help me find out more about this curse I knew I would be king of the pegasi but I didn’t know that it came with a curse, there has to be a way to that it can be lifted.” Thunder Blur said in worried tone. Twilight agreed to this and started heading to the palaces library.  They were halfway there when Pranceton ran to Thunder Blur. “Here take my medal they said it belongs to the king of the pegasi.” Pranceton gave Blur his medal. The medallion snapped onto Blur’s neck and during all of this the medal glowed along with Blur’s eyes and for about five seconds the other two ponies witnessed Thunder Blur as a king, but this frightened them he looked like a pegasus version of king Sombra.  Afterwardsthe lights dimmedand everything was normal. “Talked about a light show!” said pinkie pie scaring the ponies. The ponies continued to the library to find out why thunder blur is cursed. //-------------------------------------------------------// Lightning Grinder //-------------------------------------------------------// welcome to canterlot Chapter 2: Welcome to Canterlot Upon the ponies arrival to Canterlot they ran into Rarity and at first sight Blur thought he was in love he thought that Rarity was the most beautiful mare he’s ever seen. “Twilight, your brother is in the castle waiting for you.” Rarity said.  “Thunder Blur, Celestia and Luna are waiting for you. Uh, are you paying attention?” Thunder Blur was dazed by her in fact he was practically was drooling over her.  After Thunder Blur got to the castle he was greeted by an old friend, and to his surprise he was wearing his old medallion.  It’s similar to Rainbow Dash’s element of harmony but it was a dark blue and made of silver. Since Blur left, nothing about him really changed except his height. He had a white coat with a blue mane and tail, his eyes were a white color something nopony has. “Well Thunder Blur I see that you’ve grown up since you left how are ya bro?” the new pony said. “Who’s the mare next to ya, is she your girlfriend?” “Why of course not!” Rarity said.  “I would never go out with a guardian of equestria it would ruin me.” “So if I weren’t a guard you’d date me?” asked Blur. Rarity replied “Yes actually I would.” The two looked at each other as if they were in love, the room filled with love. “Awe look at you two.” Said Cadence. “You guys are in love.” Shining armor walked in with Twilight catching up with her and introducing her to the mystery pony. “Twily I want you to meet my best friend Pranceton.” Shining Armor said. Everypony was excited but there was one pony missing, Rainbow Dash flew through a window and asked “Where’s Fluttershy?” Everypony was wondering and looking around for Fluttershy. “Sorry I’m late everypony.” Said the wandering Fluttershy. Suddenly the ground started shaking. Thunder Blur knew that this was his brother and he has to get him.
