Dashed With Filly Failure
16 years before now.
"Morning!" Dash's Dads voice filled the house.
"Already?" Dash groaned. After all, filly's do need their sleep. Dash Rainbow looked around at all her wonderbolt pictures. Every single one. She paused and looked at the one with her and Spitfire dressed in wonderbolt costumes. It was old and faded, but it was still her favorite. She hopped out of bed and stretched her wings, that she didn't know how to use. A new day. She went downstairs for food. Right now her mom was flying to work. Dash sat down at a chair and served herself some cereal.
"Hows my cute little hay fry?" Dash's Dad said while ruffling her mane. Dash giggled. "Dad! Stop!" Dash pushed his hoof away gently.
BRING!!!!! The really loud phone rang startling Dash.
"Ill get it!" Dash's dad yelled grabbing the phone.
"Blah blah blah"
"yes?"
"Blah blah"
"no,"
"blah blah bl-"
Blitz dropped the phone.
"Daddy? Whats wrong?" Dash asked.
"Get on my back. NOW." Was the reply. Dash jumped on his back scared of her Dads tone of voice. Then her Dad flew.
They zoomed so fast, they broke the record for fastest thing ever.
"DADDY!!!!" Dash screamed louder then the wind flying past them. "WHY ARE YOU IN SUCH A HURRY?" (It sounded more like wa ya ie sus a urry because the wind.) By the time she finished that sentence, they were there. The hospital.
RINGGGGG!
"I got it!" Spitfire grabbed the phone and looked at the number. 410-rain-bows. "Its dash mom!" Spitfire yelled. She answered the phone.
"Spitfire?"
"Ya?"
"There's been a accident."
"Like what?"
"Tell you later. Just go to the hospital, room 35."
"Okay." Spitfire hung up. "Mom, can you fly me to the Pegasus hospital?" Fire Flame looked up at her confused. Then she trotted over towards her daughter.
"Why do you want to go?" Spitfire stood still. Why was the reason she wanted to go?
She sall all the empty wine glasses that seemed to be dragging around the house. She sighed as she got reminded of her parents devorce. Ever since that day her mom seem diffrent. She paused and looked at her mom straight in the eyes. She had enough of this.
"Mom, get your lazy bucking ass up and fly me to the hospital"
Why should I?
Dash cried by the bed. Sitting right here in front of her was her Mom. Well, her Moms body. "Why, WHY?" Dash screamed to nothing. Dash then stopped. She knew doing this wouldn't help.
"We're here!" Spitfire called out. "Oh my.." Spitfire was suddenly silent. "Is t-that?"
"Yup." Dash sighed. "She was your mom too." The two girls cried together. They couldn't help it.
"But... she was so strong..." Spitfire cried. "How... HOW DID THIS HAPPEN!"
Blitz stepped in. "Some IDIOT crashed into her!"
Dash fell silent. Did her dad just call somepony a idiot? Dash just sat there starring.
"Time to go dash." Dash woke up. Woke up? She fell asleep? And what happened to cute little hay fry? Dash had too many questions. But she knew she wouldn't leave. Not from her mom.
"Dash! Lets go!" Dash rainbow hid under the bed. She will NOT leave her mom again. Last time she did, there was death.
"Dash!"
Dash still stayed. Why leave? Nothing could go wrong.. Dash crawled up to what used to be her mom.
"Ill protect you mommy." Dash closed her eyes, and fell asleep.
"FOUND HER!!" Dash shot a dirty look at nurse Redheart. Why would they want to find her anyways?
"Dash? I need to talk with you." Scared half to death, Dash followed. "Well, its about your father..."
3 Hours Earlier
"My daughter is in there!" Rainbow blitz commended to get in that hospital. For Dash.
"The only ponies in there are dead Mr.Rainbow. I'm sorry."
"I swear she didn't go home though! Just let me come in!"
"The hospital is CLOSED. No more visitors."
" You have to do SOMETHING!"
Nurse Redheart looked down at the begging stallion. He was on his knees with folded hooves. There had to be something she could do. Then, you could almost bet you could see a light bulb appear over her head.
"Whats you're last name sir?"
"Rainbow?"
Nurse Redheart searched the last name in the pony dictionary. Rainbow, Bright was the name that showed up. (Dash's mom.)
"I'm sorry but the mare your talking about is dead."
"And then," Nurse Redheart said with a worried expression. "He killed himself."
"WHAT?" Dash screamed in anger and sadness. Now she leaves her DAD alone and there's still death.
"He thought there was no reason to live. Not without his family."
"So... this is my fault?" Dash realized nurse Redheart left. "If I just listened."
Dash ran out of the hospital, tears streaming down her face. She galloped silently on the clouds, eyes closed, head tilted and crying.
CRASH!!!
Dash collided into a yellow, kinda tall Pegasus.
"You okay?" Dash looked at the filly, realizing she was crying too.
"I didn't mean to hurt you!" The yellow filly looked up.
"You didn't hurt me at all though..."
"Then why are you crying?"
"Ummm... I.. I don't want to tell you. If, that's okay with you."
"Well, you could tell me you're name!" Dash smiled friendlier then she ever did. She had a feeling this filly would turn into her best friend.
"I'm Fluttershy!"
"I'm Dash. Wanna hang out later?" Fluttershy smiled. This was the nicest filly she knew.
"Sure, I would like that."
