It was A beautiful starry night, Princess Twilight was doing An amazing job of her new responsibility to rise and lower the stars
so no pony looked twice at the strange falling object coming closer to the Earth
they all suspected that it was A falling star but they were wrong
dead wrong.
It was a UNSC drop ship straight from outer space with some strange guests inside
some hideous monstrous guests inside.
only when the drop ship skidded across the forest floor ,causing metal to grind against metal and trees snapping in the Everfree forest is when ponies started to wonder what was going on
especially Zecora.
the screeching noise and shaking of the ground caused the Zebra to bounce out of bed and the various bottles and bowls to shake on their shelves and the decorations falling of the walls
Zecora snapped her eyes open with sleep still in her eyes but any pony would instantly wake up from the ruckus
"what in Equestria has caused such a disturbance in this area"
she stumbled outside and saw a glow from deeper into the forest she needed to find out what had happened
because the forest was her home and she sensed that it was in pain
she went back inside her hut and got her cape and an oil lamp.
ponies had started to crowd around the forest with some Pegasi flying over the forest to see what had happened with Rainbow Dash leading the front
it wasn't that hard to find the streak of brown dirt in the sea of green foliage
Rainbow Dash told everyone to stand back as she checked it out because she didn't want anyone getting hurt
"alright everypony i need you to move back"
they were reluctant at first but eventually they all moved back to the other ponies all the Pegasi in Ponyville respect Rainbow Dash for what she has achieved.
Dash landed and checked out the wreckage, she explored the outside first there was not much of anything pieces of metal flung from the wreckage
Rainbow was very confused about the strange hunk of metal in front of her it wasn't like anything she had ever seen
she had seen big metal contraptions inside the weather factory but what would A weather machine be doing down on the ground they never fall out of Cloudsdale
while she was trying to figure out what had happened she heard A chirp from inside the wreck and jumped
she snapped her head to see where the noise came from but could not see what it was, A dark hole in the twisted metal, she crept closer to investigate it.
She kept her head low in a defensive position and her back arched like a Cat about to strike nearing the opening
as she was about to stick her head inside she heard the rusling of leaves and branches snapping
she turned around to see if anything was out there
"hey who's out there I told you guys to keep away from here!"
Something came out of the darkness of the forest and walked towards Rainbow Dash
"I SAID GET BACK!!!"
Rainbow was irritated by how the pony was not listening
or what she thought was A pony
the thing put it hooves up
Rainbow breathed A sigh of relief now knowing that it was a pony
the pony pulled it's hood off and a familiar Zebra's head appeared
Rainbow breathed another sigh relief that it was Zecora.
"Zecora thank Celestia your here, I need help to figure out what this thing is I think it's a weather machine from Cloudsdale but I have no idea how it got down here"
Zecora didn't say a word to Rainbow she nodded and inspected the wreck
"hmmm" she poked at the metal and licked her hoof
Rainbow Dash lifted an eyebrow
"uuhh Zecora what are you doing?"
Zecora lifted her head and turned to Rainbow
"I am trying to figure out this things original place" she coughed a little from the bad taste "strange this apparently comes from space".
"What" Rainbow Dash asked "how do you know that?"
Zecora chuckled "I have A special connection with this land and something wrong is at hand"
Rainbow felt the cold wind blowing and branches rustling like the forest was agreeing with her
while the two ponies were talking a large spider looking creature with a tail crept away into the forest making quiet chirps as it went.
Zecora's face turned serious "Rainbow I need you to leave so I can communicate with the forest and maybe they will tell me what they have seen"
Rainbow Dash thought she understood
"oh ok i'll just stand here and look around for anything suspicious"
"no rainbow" Zecora responded
Rainbow was A bit disappointed, she wanted to find out what had happened but she was loyal to the end.
"Ok Zecora" Rainbow said with lowered ears like A little filly so she could get a little bit of sympathy from Zecora but her stare was constant
"just tell me if you see anything that I should know about" and she fluttered away.
Now that Zecora was alone she could start finding out what happened.
First she climbed to the highest point of the crash which was next to a dark hole in the main body of the wreck and started meditating
she was perfectly balanced on her tail with it curled up under her body.
she kept her eyes closed and her hooves were placed together and started to talk to the forest
"oh dear forest of mine what has caused such trouble at this time"
the wind picked up and Zecora's ears began to twitch a sign that she was listening to the forest.
While she was listening A hiss was heard from the dark hole behind her
Zecora had no idea of what was behind her, she was to busy listening to the forest until she heard A branch snap and one final strong push of wind which was the forest's way of telling her to "get out of here" and her eyes snapped open.
She turned around to see a frightening creature towering over at about 7 feet tall above her and she quickly turned back around, she was breathing heavily as the creature went down on all fours to investigate her
the creature didn't know what Zecora was as it sniffed the air around her but the creature smelt the fear on her when it smelt her fear its mind heard one sentence
"bring back to the Hive."
The creature let out A loud screech and tried to grab Zecora
it had A firm grip on her leg as Zecora clawed at the surface trying to stop herself from going with this evil beast
when most of her body was in the depths of the ship she found a hanging piece of metal to hang on to.
As Zecora clung on for dear life she started to scream out for help hoping that somebody would hear her
back on the edge of the forest the ponies were in mass hysteria from hearing the screams for help while some tried to get in and save her Rainbow Dash shot infront of the rest to get there first and save her friend from whatever was happening.
when she was at the crash shite she could see Zecora hanging on the metal
"don't worry Zecora i'm coming to save you!"
Rainbow flew down and grabbed her arms and tried to pull with all her might but whatever was down there was to strong for her and she was also being dragged in
when her head was in the darkness she felt someponys hooves on hers and was being pulled she looked away from Zecora and saw Cloudchaser pulling with Thunderlane behind her and the line was still growing but it wasn't doing anything.
But Rainbow Dash wasn't letting anyone slipping away like this
"alright everyone one last pull!"
"ONE"
the line gave A little slack
"TWO"
everypony got into A comfortable position to pull
"THREE"
everypony pulled with all their strength
Zecora let out A scream as she was pulled out but the creature knew that it was about to lose her and it to gave one more mighty tug.
and A loud tear was heard as Zecora's leg was pulled into the depths of the hole and the creature disappeared from the opening.
