"And the famous Rainbow Dash steps up to the starting line"
I slid my front hoof across the surface of the cloud, as I mentally prepared myself for another big race. The cloud pushes my hoof back as though it's urging me to pass that finish line. I took a look up into the crowded stadium and stared at a stoic pony, who happened to be wielding the checkered flag in his right hoof. That same pony finally raised that flag into the sky, signalling the countdown for the race.
All right Rainbow Dash you can do this. You're twenty percent stronger, twenty percent smarter, and twenty percent faster. I thought, as I wiped a bead of sweat from my forehead. In one swift movement, the checkered flag was brought down. A loud whistle was blown and the crowd had started it's loud cheer, but I was already ahead. Two quick steps and a hard flap of my wings and I had claimed my position at the head of the group. I could feel the wind rushing past my face and the sun beating down on my back as I soared through the track. I already knew that victory was mine. I was going faster and faster and it felt great until, I felt the sunshine disappear. I didn't bother to look because I happens most of the time, but then ponies started to scream. Thats when I finally looked up, but to only find a dark cloud of evilness. Nopony knew what to do so I cleared a path for all the ponies to get out. I checked everywhere to make sure nopony was left behind. I was thinking of leaving the cloud with a Sonic Rainboom, but it was too late. As soon as I could get out the darkness reached me and automatically took away my wings. I could feel the wind gushing against my face time and this time it didn't feel good. I could also hear my screaming as I was free falling. I was saying to myself "I am going to die, I am going to die" So I closed my eyes ready to hit the ground to die, but instead of hitting ground I hit a branch off of a dead tree and landed first face onto the ground.
Not to hard, but hard enough to make it hurt. After, 5 minutes of laying on the ground I look up and say "Uhhhh what happened?". As I look around I found myself sourounded by fog and dead trees. They made me shiver. I stood and tried to fly away, but then I remembered I don't have any wings. As I silently gazed upon the creepy woods I finally see an opening, and it has SUNLIGHT. As I run toward it I could feel the wind smash aginst my face as I run as fast as I can. "I never thought being an earth pony was quite fun" I said silently to myself. I finally reach the ending "Phew glad i got out of there" I said with a relief. "Hmmmm" I said thinking to myself "What should I do now?".
I kept walking and thinking to myself until, my concentration got distracted when I ran into something. I took a step back to see what it was. It was a house. There was alot of noise coming from inside of the house. I didn't know if I should simply ignore it or just walk up to it and ask for directions.Me being me I started to walk up to it. There was alot of noise coming out of it. So I knocked and yelled "IS ANYPONY HOME"?. It sounded like someone was coming, but I wasn't very sure because there was alot of noise. I waited for a few seconds. Then,finally somepony opened the door. It was a girl pony with pink hair, blue eyes, and wings. "WINGS!!!!!!!" I said very loud. She gave me a weird look and said "Yes,wings have you ever seen any before"? I smiled and said "OH HAVE I" she looked at me and nodded. Then, she looked at me and widened the door more. "Come in". As soon as I walked in I only found a huge cluster of animals. "Sit" she said so, I did as I was told. We talked for a while and she gave me the instructions and a map that should show me around Ponyville. "Well I best be on my way " "Nice to meet you ummm" "Fluttershy my is name "
"Well nice to meet you Fluttershy" she smiled. As I was walking out she stopped me and said "Bye".
As I was walking along I couldn't stop thinking about how I made a new friend. Then, I started to hop,but then I stopped Because I knew that I'd have to be 20% cooler. As i was walking along I finally found an opening. I looked at little bit closer to see what it was and it was ponies."PONIES" i run twoard it then, slow down as i reach it. I look around to find many ponies ,MANY ponies."Whoa" i said to myself, wondering about. I didn't realy know how to explain what it looked like becuase it was so beautiful. I mean there was everythign a pony could dream of. Such as: Food Stands,Spas,Clothing Stores, and many more things. I keep walking along waiting for something to happen and somethin does happen. I run into yet another pony.
"Oh sorry" "I must have not seen what was going on with all the shopping bags in my face" "A pony with purple curly hair and purple eyes. "Its okay" I said politily. "There are so many orders i have I don't think i can handle them all at once" "Espically when these bags weigh alot" "Here let me help you out with them". "Oh thank you". Shes right, these bags do weigh a ton, but there no match for the AMAZING RAINBOWDASH!. She gave a look at me like she was more amazing,so i diceded to lay off,and lay low. As were walking along, I see farms and ponies kicking trees. "What are they doing"? I ask quietly. "Oh, apple jack,they kicking apples off trees." "Why" "Because they need to make food and drinks to make money" "Oh" I said thinking to myself . "That would be cool to knock apples off a tree."
As i was thinking the pony said "thanks for helping". As I looked up I saw a huge botique. "WOW". "Thank you" she said putting one hoof up being proud. "Is this your place" "Yes,yes it is" "WOW" I said again still in awe. "Would you liked to come in". I kind of had to think, but I finally said yes. As soon as we walk in she yells "OH MY STARS". "What's wrong,are you ok"? "Of course darling, I just now realized, you fit in one of my dresses". "Sorry, please say that again". "You would fit perfectly into one of my dresses". "I'm sorry im not so good with..dresses". "Well ok then" "But if you could will you try it on. I didn't really want to, but i had to 'Fine". "Oh thank you". "No prob". She pulled out a rainbow dress looked kinda sporty (Which is so my type) and a helmet that looked like it had wings. Oh how i miss my wings. Anyways, i said to myself shaking my head out of the distraction.
"Well what do you think"? she asked. I Didn't know how to respond, so i just guessed. "Its uh.. Beautiful". "Well then go try it on". She forcefully pushes me into the changing with one hoove. i takes my a while to get changes, but it get it on. "Are you done yet"? she asks with a holler. "Yah" I reply. "Then come out". "OK". As i step out i can already see the pony's face is in shock. "Is everything alright"? I ask silently "Of course darling, its just" "Its just what"?. "You just look amazing". I look at myself in the mirrior "Wow youre right i do look 20% more awesome". She smiled "If you want it you can have it". "No i can neve-". "JUST TAKE IT" she looks at me like she about to kill me. "Ok,ok I'll take it". "Good" she puts the dress in the bag and gives it to me. I put it in my mouth to carry it. "Well i have to go bye" "Wait" I stop walking and turn around to see what she wants. "Whats your name"? she says with a smile. "Its Rainbow Dash and yours"?. "Its Rarity". "In that case, see you later Rarity"
