Chapters I walk out of my room and smell the delicious scent of pancakes. I go back to my room and make my bed. As I sleepily make my bed, I step on a toy. It definitely woke me up and I yelled to my brother so hard, even the neighbors could hear it.
"Will, I told ya to freakin' put your stupid toys in your room!! Now get 'em out, NOW !!!" I yelled from upstairs as hard as I can. He ran up as fast as his little midget feet could go and took his tiny cars away from my room. He knows how grumpy I get when I wake up, so he makes sure to definitely not piss me off... I finished making my bed when I stumbled down stairs. I accidentally skipped a step, leading me to fall down hard on the hardwood floor.
"Woah, today isn't your lucky day now is it sis?" Will said chuckling to his own joke. I got up and hid my hair in my hat. If my mom finds out I got highlights yesterday without her permission. I would be killed ... But too late she saw 'em, making her furious.
"Did you g-get HIGHLIGHTS ?! I thought we agreed on not getting them! You have a lot of explaining to do young girl!" My mom yelled across the dining room table. I tried telling her they were temporary, but of course, she never believed me. No, they weren't temporary, if you're asking that question right now. We argued until she said it was late to go to school. I wish the argument went on and on, because today was my first day in my new school...

I walked out of my mom's car without saying a word to her. Will was right, today isn't my lucky day. I was there in front of my worst nightmare, a new school. I've always been in the same school district all my life, but I definitely wasn't prepared for this. I started walking towards the school doors when a crazy girl with pink hair walked in front of me skipping. She must be a freshman... I said to myself. I walked through the doors when I was greeted with the principal.
"Hello, I'm Principal Celest!" the principal said cheerfully, "You must be Cadence Miamora, right?" I nodded and took off my hat, since it's inappropriate to wear a hat indoors. I flipped my hair, showing my colored highlights (Purple, pink, and yellow. Y'know, since I like sunset colors...), just to show them off. Principal Celest just smiled at the sight of them. She was pretty young so I guess it was easy for her students to get away with stuff.
She started giving me a tour of the school while everyone else was in homeroom. I got carried away when I saw weird posters like: "Join the New Lunar Republic", and "We Will Be Freed Soon from This World". I was fascinated by the tiaras they had on display. But one freaked me out a bit-- "Lie Here the Crown of Princess Miamora Cadenza, Shall She Rest in Peace.". Miamora was my last name, and I'm pretty sure Cadenza means Cadence in a whole different language. Principal Celest was still talking to herself and the crowns weren't guarded by anything, so as dumb as I was, I touched the tiara with my last name on it. To my surprise, it glowed. Then my reflection, wasn't my reflection, but a reflection of a pony. A pink pony with wings and a horn and the same hair highlights I had, but the highlights entirely covered her mane. As of mine only went to the tips of my hair. I let out a little yelp and stopped touching it. The moment I let go, the reflection disappeared. Leaving my normal reflection behind.
"Are you alright Cadence?" asked Principal Celest worriedly. I nodded and continued walking. But I saw her flip her hand up. I wondered why, so I looked back. The posters were now cheesy posters from my old school, and the tiaras were gone.

I was walking toward the cafeteria when I accidentally bumped into a girl with blue and light blue highlights. She was furious and she looked disgusted at me...
"How dare you bump into the Great and Powerful Trixie?!" she said.
"I-I'm so sorry... Trixie! I swear I didn't mean to!" I beg her to apologize but she won't take it.
"I dare you to a duel!" Trixie demanded.
"A-a, duel? Are you a Star Wars fan or something? Why would ya wanna duel?" I was so confused, but what I didn't see was the magical purple aura around my foot and her finger. With the motion of her hand, she flipped me face down and levitated my hand. Soon she made me start hitting myself.
"Why are you hitting yourself? Why are you hitting yourself?" she asked continuously. It went on for about five minutes, then she flipped me face down about five times and laughed menacingly, leaving me lifeless on the floor. She and her clique laughed evilly and left. I sat up on the floor, blood dripping from my nose. I tried to stand up, but my legs were too weak. I just sat there on my knees, about to cry. But I didn't, I had to be strong. Then a shadow appeared before me. I look up to see a caramel skinned girl with eggplant colored hair.
"Are you okay...? Sorry I wasn't here," she helped me up, and by the touch of her hand I felt... stronger... "I was at my lunch break, since I patrol during your lunch. Say, I never seen you before... My name's Twilight Sparkle. Student Body President for Canterlot High. You?" she was so sweet and nice, I smiled and spoke.
"My name is Cadence. Cadence Miamora. It's nice to meet you Twilight." For a second, I saw surprise on her face. She then smiled warmly and looked away. She went to another person and chatted for a bit. I started making my way to the cafeteria when Twilight came back.
"Turns out today isn't my patrol day! So... Wanna hang out with me and my friends for now?" She asked. I just nodded an walked with her into the cafeteria. We sat down with a few of her friends, I didn't bother to eat though. I wasn't really hungry after that fight. I finally had friends, and I was finally happy...
I was going to fourth period when I accidentally bumped into one of the girls I sat with at lunch. Jeez, Cadence! Why you so clumsy today? I thought to myself. She looked a lot like those popular girls, so I wondered if she was in Trixie's clique.
"I'm sorry, I swear, I didn't mean to!" I pick my books up, when she picked one up for me.
"Oh no, dear. The fault was all mine!" She flipped her royal purple, curly, soft hair and got down on the floor to pick her books up. To return her favor, I picked two of her books up and gave it to her. One of them was a math textbook, while the other was a sketchbook with interesting fashion designs.
"So you're a designer huh?" I ask her. She blushed a crimson red and nodded. "Cool, do ya sell any of 'em?" The particular one that the sketchbook was open to caught my eye. I was wondering if I could buy any of them. But it seemed she was thinking about it and she suddenly nodded.
"Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. But if you want, I'll give you my number if you'd like!" She gave me a card with a phone number on it. She flipped her hair once again and let her elegant white outfit flow in the wind.Well not like in soap operas or anything, it was just there was something so magical about it. She looked at me and saw I was drooling, even though I didn't notice. "You look like Spike when he sees me, are you okay...?" I wiped my drool away in embarrassment and looked at her.
"Nah, it's just you're so pretty... Oh! Ahem, I'm sorry! Don't think I'm that kind of person! I'm soooo strait!" I blushed in a lusty red, and in embarrassment smiled meekly. The bell finally rang and she helped me up from the floor.
"My name is Rarity by the way! Sorry I didn't tell you earlier, dear!" I noticed she had an engilish accent to her voice. She walked away fashionably. I looked at my schedule to see what class I had next. Ugh... I thought, Math.

The moment my teacher said "algebra", I got extremely tired and all the other kids groaned. I rarely payed any attention at all and I started sleeping. But I was awoken from my sweet slumber when we all heard the word "partners". Everyone was looking for a partner except me. Of course, it's weird and rare that a new person gets a partner in a class the first day. So I knew I had to do it myself anyways. I started drifting to Dreamland when suddenly I heard a voice.
"Hi, wanna be my partner?! Do ya? Do ya?!" That pink haired girl I saw earlier was now jumping forcefully on the ground. I didn't wanna make her sad, so I said yes. "Alrighty then! So first we gotta do this math thingy, then we can just talk!" She grabbed her pencil and both our sheets. She wrote at an extremely rapid speed, finishing both our sheets in five minutes! The teacher gave us a full hour, when now, we have a full 50 minutes to talk!
"So my name is Cadence Miamora. How about yours?" I asked in the pleasant and sweet voice I had, I didn't want to make her think I didn't want to be with her.
"My name's Pinkamena Diane Pie! Pinkie Pie for short!" she handed our sheets in and then came back skipping. "Party Extraordinaire!" I was wondering what that meant until I figured it out a few seconds later.
"So does that mean you throw parties every week or something...?" I doubted it but to my surprise, it was the definition of that.
"Yep! I'm actually hosting one tonight! Wanna come?!" she jumped up and down while her persian rose hair bounced up and down in a ponytail. Then her mouth gaped open and gasped, "We can throw a welcome party for you! It would be so awesome !!!: I kind of agreed and we finally planned it all. Then a blonde, country looking girl came walking to us.
"Howdy y'all! Whatcha doin' Pinkie?" asked the blonde girl. Pinkie Pie told her how she was planning a party tonight for me.
"Well, nice to meet ya Cadence! Mah name's Applejack! Work at a farm across town. Sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier." she sat on an indigo colored chair and started talking to us. After a while, the bell rang and we each stopped talking and moved on with our lives. My next and final class was gym.

We started out with the ten lap jog at the beginning of gym class. I was still a little sore from that beat down from Trixie, but I still made myself run. On the fifth lap someone who was running rapidly grabbed my arm. In less than ten seconds, we and the anonymous person made five laps. I got dizzy and fell on the ground.
"Wow, I help you go faster, and I don't even receive a thank you?!" a rosey eye colored girl with rainbow hair was standing above me. Then another weak looking girl was next to me on the ground with a maize yellow jacket and light pink hair.
"Th-thank you Rainbow Dash, but next t-time... D-don't go so f-fast..." said the light pink haired girl shyly.
"Thanks...?" I said, not really understanding if making you barf needs to be given a thanks. We both get up from the dirt road and brush ourselves off. "My name's Cadence by the way, Cadence Miamora."
"Yeah, I know ya from lunch. But I didn't get to talk though. My name's Rainbow Dash, and this here is Fluttershy." Dash pointed to Fluttershy, which happened to be hiding behind her shyly, "She happens to be shy, hence the name Fluttershy..." Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes ignorantly and left the coach a note saying we would be at the gymnasium. We walked to the gym and talked a bit.
"So you're new here right?" Rainbow asks while trying to keep Fluttershy away from her.
"Yeah, moved here yesterday..." I kick a rock while walking to the doors. Rainbow held a door open for me and we went in. We didn't talk much, especially with Fluttershy. Eventually the bell rang and class was over.

I was walking to my locker when Principal Celest came and told me to meet her at her office. Am I in trouble for the fight at lunch today? Because if I am, I didn't start it... I thought Well, I was the one who bumped into her but I didn't start babbling about not to touch the Great and Powerful Trixie...
I packed my bag and went to her office. She was standing in front of her desk, and next to her was a student, probably a senior. Principal Celest revealed the tiara I touched in the morning.
"Cadence, we need to talk..." she said in a calm, monotone voice. My next thought was an immediate butterfly maker...
Either I'm in trouble for touching it or... I am the Princess Miamora Cadenza....
I just stand there like a deer in front of headlights. Principal Celest walked foward, alongside with her student. Right then a man (probably a senior too) came barging in the office.
"Luna! I am here to protect you from what evil forces may hit you!" the gray haired student went in front of the girl student. The girl pushed him away slightly and said she was perfectly fine, and that he was dismissed. I almost smirked at the sight of his shoes, because they were heels . He saw me smiling and he pointed a razor sharp sword at me, "Don't you dare make fun of my attire, and if you harm my princess ever , you will be dead meat ..." I just stood there, frightened at the sight of the sword. I put my hands back and walked away from him.
"Tex, we thou say thy were dismissed..." said the zaffre hair colored girl. It almost seemed that it had stars in her silky hair. Tex grunted and walked out of the office. The two ladies were now back to me.
"We called you here today, for something very important. Me and my sister Luna agreed that we think you are ready..." Principal Celest took out the tiara from its display case thingy and started putting it on my head. I started getting confused and frightened at the same time.
"No no no no no no, I can't be a princess! I'm not ready for it! I-I'm just a teenager... I-I... What kingdom am I from anyways?!" I was so flustered. But instead, Principal Celest held a hand up as a signal to be quiet and still. I closed my eyes tight, thinking it would hurt me or something. Principal Celest just chuckled.
"Don't worry, this won't hurt a bit..." she placed the tiara on my head and it started glowing brightly, very brightly... I was suddenly surrounded surrounded by a swirling magical mist and the last words I ever heard changed my life around...
"You are Princess Miamora Cadenza..."

I wake up and go on all fours. I had an urge to do it, like I couldn't stand up. I crawled to a mirror and saw myself, or should I say a pony ... It was the same one I saw on the tiara, but this time, she had the tiara on. Of course, I had to be curious. I raised what supposedly was my hand when I saw a hoof. A light pink hoof ! I looked at the mirror and saw the pony had the same frightened face I had. And of course, I screamed.
"Princess, are you alright?!" Two white male ponies with armor came in. I looked at them, they looked at me. I scream again, pushing them aside and running, or galloping. I find myself at the school, and it was 4:00 p.m., so school wasn't over yet. Ponies were all around me, and they seemed pretty confused I was yelling and galloping like a madperson--er--madpony ...
"I'M A PONY! A PINK PONY WITH WINGS AND A HORN!! HELP M-- " I bump into two majestic looking ponies: One had a pearl white coat and a magical flowing mane with many colors. Another had a blue coat and a flowing dark blue mane with stars in them. Then a flashback occurred.

I stood on the couch watching the season finale of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Season 1. My mom handed me some popcorn.
"You're in middle school, and you like a five year old girls show?" she asked. Of course I nodded. I was hugging my Twilight Sparkle plushie I got two weeks ago. As the show was at the credits, my friend, who was also a brony, called.
"Just saw on EqD and Derpy Hooves that this was the last season...EVER !!" I heard sobbing in the other line. I felt like crying too. My mom was buying some tickets for BroNYCon on the internet, when I told her to stop. It wasn't worth it. I went to my room and sat on my bed. I only shed a tear and I was eagerly welcomed by a lusty slumber.
But what I didn't know was that my friend, my selfish friend, lied. She knew I wouldn't bother looking at the sites. She knew how much MLP meant to me.
But the worst part... She was faking about being a brony. Secretly she hated it, and only to get me to snap out of the beautiful trance, she lied ...
And after that night, I never saw the last two seasons...

I finally knew what was happening. And instead of screaming in terror, I squealed in delight.
"I'm meeting the princesses !! But why is Luna's hair so flowy now? Wait... Did I just meet the Mane 6 in one day?! OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG !!!" The princess looked confused at the sight of my excitement. I was now jumping like Pinkie would do it and I was now extremely happy. I was a little too excited that Celestia put her hoof on my shoulder.
"I'm happy that you are happy Cadence, but being princess of the Crystal Empire requires a lot of work. Especially since you have returned." I was hypnotized by the majestic voice until I heard "Crystal Empire". Crystal Empire, what Crystal Empire? Never heard that in the show... Celestia saw my confused look, and she looked at me worriedly, "You do remember you rule the Crystal Empire, right?" I stay silent and still, "Do you even remember marrying Shining Arm--" We got interrupted by the galloping of the purple pony, Twilight.
"Cadence, you're back! I missed you so so so much!!" Twilight seemed like she was going to cry when she got on the floor and started to chant a song, "Sunshine sunshine, ladybugs awake! Clap your hooves and do a little shake!!" I looked at her confusedly and she saw my expression.
"What are you doing? It's ridiculous, yet so cute !!" I say. I felt like cuddling her up like with my plushie. But in response, she looked at me angrily and her name lit up brightly, so bright, it looked like it was going to explode.
"Chrysalis! How dare you come back? Where is Cadence? Or is this all a cruel joke to you?!" she threatened me with her horn a blaze but Celestia held her back. Twilight dimmed her horn, but it was still glowing
