Queen Chrysalis has returned, and is not alone. Desperate to keep their kingdom safe, the two Princesses enlist the aid of some very strange and unlikely allies

Queen Chrysalis has been thrown out of Canterlot and has landed in the harsh Northern Mountains. There she meets with the one thing she fears above all else... her mother. The legendary Madora is ready to return to Equestria and crush it beneath her hoof. The changelings under Madora's command are far more aggressive, not only devouring the love around them, but killing any and all who stand in their way.

After narrowly escaping a raid on her town, a young filly makes a wish on some shooting stars, asking for someone who will save them from destruction. Little does she realize, her wish has come true.
