Prologue- Cadence's Misssion
Princess Cadence stood on her throne, looking quite concerned. A night guard came in the throne room, stood before the Princess, then bowed.
"Your Highness," he said, panting, "Your Highness, I have some news from Princess Luna of Canterlot."
"Can you tell me what it is, sir?" she asked.
"Canterlot has already been seized by the Changelings, again. She says we need extra help from abroad if we are to look for the Elements and retrieve their bearers."
Cadence thought for a moment, then said, "You say you have a daughter that is good in magic, right?"
"Yes," the guard continued, "The youngest of my daughters is a prodigy in magic, your Highness."
"Can you send her here? I need to talk to her on that matter."
The guard hesitated for a moment, then responded, "I'll tell her as soon as I can, your Majesty." He bowed down to the Princess once more, then left the room.
Three hours later, a white Alicorn mare came into the almost empty throne room, her saddlebags overstuffed with quills, paper, scrolls, and textbooks of magic. "I came," she said, struggling to keep her balance. As she bowed, some of the quills and scrolls that were on top of the saddlebags quickly fell out, along with a compass, and a map of Equestria. "Sorry, sorry, I'll pick this right up, then we continue with what you were saying," she said as she levitated the objects in the air with her magic.
Cadence started to speak. "You are White Star, correct?"
"Yes," White Star answered, "You wanted to speak to me?"
"It's about the Elements of Harmony."
"Yes, what about them?"
"Well. Canterlot has been seized by both the Changeling Queen and Discord, and since the the original bearers of the Elements are corrupted somehow, I need you to help me look for replacements meanwhile, and help Twilight and her friends back to normal and Equestria free from chaos."
"Does that mean-"
"Yes," Cadence interrupted, "You'll have to make some friends."
"I accept this task, my Princess," White Star said as she bowed once more and stated heading out.
"Oh, and one more thing," Cadence stated.
White Star turned around to look at her, wondering what the Princess would say to her. "Yes?"
"Good luck, you're going to need it," she said as she smiled.
White Star then nodded, and then went out of the room. As she went through the castle gates to the nearby train station, she started to smile, knowing that this will be an adventure she will never forget.
