There is a First Time for Everything
Twilight's Decision
Load Full StoryNext ChapterTwilight was laying on her bed, struggling to read a book on advanced teleportation spells, but her thoughts kept drifting back to that of her marefriend, Rainbow Dash. She was attending a week long conference in Cloudsdale, and was supposed to get back earlier that day. However, Twilight had just received a letter moments ago from Derpy saying otherwise.
She glared at the letter laying on the bed before her, sighing heavily as she reread it yet again.
“Twi,
Things are taking a lot longer than I thought up here in Cloudsdale, so I probably won’t be able to make it for our date tonight. I’ll make it up to you, I promise!
-Rainbow”
Thinking back, the past couple of weeks had been wonderful. They had visited Cloudsdale, where Rainbow Dash had shown Twilight the city that she had spent her fillyhood in. They had shared a salad at one of Rainbow's favorite restaurants, and then they had spent the night in a cozy hotel, where Rainbow had tried to get a little frisky with her. Twilight had turned her down of course, telling her she wasn't ready for that part of the relationship just yet, but that wasn't the real reason. She wasn't sure if Rainbow was the one she wanted to spend the rest of her life with, and in turn, lose her virginity to. But now, the more she thought about it, the more it made sense; they completed each other.
“She’s confident, funny, and always knows how to make me smile, even when I don't want to. She may seem rough and uncaring at first but you just had to just dig a little deeper with her. She's fiercely loyal, and always stands up for me when I need her. She's treated me so well, and always puts my needs before hers.” Twilight smiled, her eyes drifting closed as a happy smile found its way onto her face. “She’s athletic, strong, and…really quite stunning. Rainbow is…she’s just…perfect; everything I could ever wish for…”
As her cheeks flushed with feelings of both love and desire, she decided to finally give in, to allow herself to go all the way with Rainbow. Just thinking about the possibility of making love with her marefriend made her tingle in excitement. With a smile, she closed her book and laid on her back, making herself comfortable. She slowly caressed her soft chest and made a trail all the down to her moist slit. As she started fantasizing about all of the things that they could do together, she rubbed her hoof faster and faster over her clit, making her moan softly. Afraid that Spike would hear her, she put a hoof in her mouth, muffling her moans.
Downstairs, Spike was cleaning the kitchen when he heard the front door creak open. He placed the mop against the counter and walked into the main room of the library, instantly recognizing the mare that had just walked in.
“Hey Rainbow! Here to pick Twilight up for your date tonight?”
“Yep! Uhhh…wait, how do you know about that?” Rainbow quizzically asked. She and Twilight had been working hard to keep their relationship secret from everypony else, afraid that their friends and family might shun them for being fillyfoolers.
“Oh, Twilight tells me everything! I think it's great that you two are together!” He said, a large smile on his face. He cocked his head as Rainbow bit on her lip nervously. “And don't worry, your secret is safe with me!”
“Oh, uhhh, thanks?" Rainbow said, still feeling slightly uneasy that Twilight told Spike about their secret relationship. “Anyways... speaking of Twilight, where is my favorite pony?”
“Oh, she's upstairs! I believe she's studying or something like that. If you wanna relax on the couch for a minute, I'll go tell her that you're here!”
“Nah, don’t worry about it; I want to surprise her!” A sly grin appeared on her face as she leapt into the air, her wings fluttering silently as she quietly landed at the top of the stairs. Raising a hoof, she slowly pulled the latch on her marefriend’s bedroom door down, and she winced as it clicked open. She pushed the door open a few inches and cringed as the hinges creaked.
“Great…now my surprise is ruined!” Rainbow thought as she stood there. Hearing nothing from inside the bedroom, Rainbow peered through the small crack. Upon seeing and hearing nothing, she pushed the door open just enough for her to slip in, and she carefully closed it behind her.
“Mmmm…yeah… Rainbow, keep going…”
“Oh hay, she heard me...” Rainbow thought in dismay as she looked up. As her eyes fell on her marefriend, her jaw dropped and her eyes widened in surprise as she saw Twilight pleasing herself on the bed, quietly moaning the pegasus’ name.
With a cheeky grin, Rainbow crept over to Twilight’s bed as quietly as she could, never taking her eyes off her marefriend. As she sat watching Twilight please herself, her wings unconsciously started to rise on their own. She watched with heated interest as Twilight’s moans became louder and louder, and as her marefriend tensed up in an orgasm, she quickly bent down and placed her lips on Twilight’s, pulling her into a gentle kiss.
Twilight’s eyes suddenly burst open and she quickly sat up and away from Rainbow, blushing furiously. Her heart rate increased as she realized that somepony had caught her masturbating; her marefriend no less! Her mind raced as she tried to think of an excuse as to why she was moaning her marefriend’s name.
“Hey Twi, miss me?” Rainbow asked with a cheeky smile as she laid her front hooves on the bed, idly rubbing Twilight’s soft chest. She wanted nothing more than to have a little fun under the sheets with her marefriend after her long week.
“I…uhhh…I don’t…What are you…How long were you in here? I thought you were still stuck up in Cloudsdale,” Twilight panted, still basking in the afterglow of her orgasm. She alternated between wanting to bop Dash and wanting to have her way with her, but now was neither the time nor the place. Besides, Spike was downstairs, and she didn’t want to give him the birds and bees talk if he caught them.
“Oh, long enough,” Rainbow replied, her tail twitching back and forth. “And I ditched those lame ponies up in Cloudsdale; all they did was argue about when we should have the next big storm.”
“Hehe, sounds like a lot of fun,” Twilight giggled. She snaked a hoof around Rainbow’s head and pulled her on top of her, drawing her into another kiss.
After a brief minute of tender kissing, Rainbow reluctantly pulled away, a small string of saliva connecting their muzzles. “Ready to go on our date? Our reservation is in ten minutes, so we’d better get goin’…” She murmured, slowly picking herself off of her marefriend.
“I’d much rather just stay here and spend all night with you…Mmmm, ok; hang on a second.” As Twilight slid off the bed, she realized that her marehood and the base of her tail were soaked through with her juices. As Rainbow watched in awe, she used her magic to pull the fluids from her fur and they coalesced into a ball, and with a flash, it disappeared from view. She used a mirror to examine her flank, and satisfied with the results, she levitated a brush over to her and quickly ran it through her mane and tail, making sure that she was presentable to go out. She placed the brush on her desk and motioned towards the door, signaling that she was ready to go.
As they made their way downstairs, she called out to her assistant and said, “Alright, Spike, Rainbow and I are going out for the night, and I’m trusting you to keep the library in one piece while I’m gone.”
“Yeah, yeah, I got that Twi; you don’t have anything to worry about! Have fun!” Spike said, a shifty smile appearing on his scaly face.
“And also…” Twilight trailed off, blushing madly. Her ears drooped cutely and she glanced at Rainbow as she said, “I probably won’t be back until tomorrow…”
Rainbow’s head suddenly snapped to attention as she heard Twilight’s last sentence. Her hopes rose, and her heart started beating faster and faster. “Wait, what did she just say?”
Turning back to look at Spike, Twilight continued, “And don’t eat all the ice cream. Remember how you felt the last time you ate too much?”
“Don’t worry about that, Twi; that’s future Spike’s problem!” He replied as he walked into the kitchen.
With a sigh, Twilight opened the front door with her magic and curiously asked, “So, Rainbow, where are we going?”
“Oh…somewhere nice…” Rainbow trailed off mysteriously, not wanting to ruin the surprise. They walked outside, and Twilight shut the door behind them.
As they started trotted away from the library, Twilight worriedly said, “I sure hope Spike is going to be ok tonight. This is going to be his first night alone…”
“He’s gonna be fine, Twi! He’s not a little baby anymore, so I’m sure he can handle himself and the library for just one night!” Rainbow reassured her marefriend, nuzzling her just under the ear.
“Yeah, I guess you’re right,” Twilight replied, still feeling a little uneasy. She wanted to have a good time, so she quickly pushed those thoughts out of her mind and tried to figure out where they were going.
As they trotted down the road, Twilight started counting off the few restaurants that they passed, and as they neared the edge of town, the answer suddenly dawned on her.
“Rainbow; are you taking me to Le Café du Soleil Levant?!?” Twilight asked with a gasp, a grin plastered on her face.
“Dang it, Twi!” Rainbow replied with a smile, surprised that she had figured where they were going so quickly. As the restaurant appeared a couple buildings down the road, she asked, “How’d you guess?”
“Oh, I just used simple deductive reasoning. Since we were heading in this direction, we obviously aren’t going to the restaurants on the other side of town, and we’ve already passed a couple restaurants, so we obviously aren’t going to those. With that in mind, only one possibility remained, Le Café du Soleil Levant!” Twilight happily said, a slight skip in her step, giddy that she had correctly guessed where they were going.
“Hehe, you egghead,” Rainbow affectionately tickled Twilight’s ear with a wing as they walked inside the restaurant.
“Greetings, and welcome to Le Café du Soleil Levant!” The host said. “You must be our seven o’clock reservation. Please, Miss Dash and Miss Sparkle, follow me to your table.”
The host led them outside through a side door and brought them to a small candle-lit table, laying the menus on the table. “Your waitress will be right with you, madams.”
Rainbow and Twilight sat down on the cushions and glanced at their menus, looking at the small selection of choices.
“Ummm…Rainbow, how are we going to pay for this?” Twilight hesitantly asked, glancing back down at the menu. “Some of these prices are astronomically high!”
“Don’t worry about that, Twi; I got it covered. I did the owner a big favor on the day the restaurant opened, so he said that my friends and I could eat here for free whenever I wanted.”
“Ah, ok! What did you do?” Twilight asked with interest, placing the menu back down on the table.
“Oh, it was nothing. All I did was keep a massive thunderstorm from hitting Ponyville.” Rainbow said just as her stomach started grumbling.
As if right on cue, a pink unicorn with a violet mane walked up and said, “Good evening, my name is Amethyst Star, and I will be your waitress for tonight! What will you two be drinking?”
“Oh, just water please!” Twilight said. “Thank you!”
“And for you, miss?” The waitress asked, turning towards Rainbow.
“We’ll have your finest wine, please!” Rainbow responded. “And don’t be skimpy, we want the whole bottle!”
“Of course, miss! I’ll be back right away with your drinks.” The waitress turned and walked back into the restaurant.
Opening the menu again, Twilight perused her options and finally decided what she wanted. Placing the menu back down on the table, she said, “So, I think I’m going to get a salad with a side of mixed berries. Do you know what you want?”
Rainbow was just about to respond when the waitress returned with their drinks. Placing the wine bucket on the table, the waitress pulled the bottle out and said, “Tonight, we have a rare treat for you. This is a bottle of Dom Ponignon, aged twenty years, and imported all the way from Prance. Will this wine be suitable?”
“Yep; that’ll do great!” Rainbow responded happily.
The waitress placed the bottle down, placed two glasses in front of Twilight and Rainbow, and quickly filled them up. She placed the bottle back in the bucket of ice and asked, “Have you decided on what you want tonight?”
“Actually, yes!” Twilight happily replied. “I will have a salad with a side of mixed berries.”
The waitress quickly wrote down Twilight’s order in a small notepad and turned towards Rainbow. “And for you, miss?”
“I’ll have what she’s havin’, thanks!” Rainbow said, handing their menus to the waitress.
“Ohhhkayyy! I’ll put your order in right away!” Amethyst Star said as she walked away.
As Twilight watched their waitress walk away, she noticed Bon Bon and Lyra sitting in one of the corners, holding hooves and staring into each other’s eyes, empty dishes sitting in front of them. Collecting their things, they stood up and slowly snaked their way towards the exit, passing Twilight and Rainbow’s table.
“Hey Bon Bon, Lyra!” Twilight happily said. “What’s the special occasion?”
“Oh hey guys! It’s our one-year anniversary, so we decided to splurge and treat ourselves to something nice!” Bon Bon replied with a smile as she glanced lovingly at her marefriend.
With a sly grin, Lyra leaned over, nuzzled her marefriend, and whispered something into her ear, which caused Bon Bon to blush madly.
“Well, it seems that Lyra here is getting a little frisky, so I think we should get going,” Bon Bon hurriedly said, obviously excited from what Lyra had whispered into her ear.
“That’s right!” Lyra exclaimed, slapping Bon Bon’s rear with a hoof, causing the mare to emit a small “eep!” of surprise. “Well it was nice seeing you guys, but we gotta go!”
“Hehe, alright…Have a nice night, you two!” Rainbow said.
As they both waved goodbye, Amethyst Star came back with their food. Levitating it off of her back, she gently placed the food in front of them and asked, “Is there anything else I can get for you?”
“Nope; everything’s perfect!” Twilight replied as her stomach started to rumble.
“Alrighty then! Enjoy your meal!”
As their waitress walked away, Twilight levitated her fork from the table, speared a couple leaves, and lifted them into her mouth. As she happily munched away on her dinner, she thought, “I’m not sure if Rainbow got the hint earlier… So, how can I tell her that I’m ready?” As she sat on her cushion, thought after thought popped into her head, each more ridiculous than the last.
Several minutes passed as Twilight secretly worried away, unable to come up with a good way to tell Rainbow that she’s ready. As they both of them finished their dinners, Twilight decided to just mare up and tell Rainbow that she’s ready to go all the way with her tonight.
“Now THAT was good!” Rainbow declared as she pushed the empty plates away from her. “How was yours?”
“Oh, it was…great!” Twilight nervously replied, a weak smile plastered on her face.
“Is everything ok?”
“Yes, Rainbow. Everything is…perfect.” Twilight serenely said. “It’s just…”
“What?”
Twilight slightly lowered her voice and softly said, “I’m ready.”
“Oh, ok; I’ll grab the waitress and let her know that we’re leaving,” Rainbow said as she tossed a few bits on the table as a tip.
With a giggle, Twilight realized that her marefriend had completely missed her point. As Rainbow stood up, Twilight walked over to her, pulled her into a soft kiss, and whispered into her ear, “I love you, Dashie…I’m ready.”
As the meaning behind Twilight’s words suddenly dawned on Rainbow, she said, “Wait, ready for…you know…”
“Yes, Rainbow,” Twilight said, a smile slowly creeping its way onto her face.
“ALRIGHT!” Rainbow suddenly yelled as she jumped into the air. With feelings of pure joy blossoming in her heart, she slowly drifted down to her marefriend and kissed her, hovering in midair, drawing furtive glances from the other customers.
After several seconds, Rainbow broke the kiss and said, “Hey Twi, think we should spend the night at my place?”
“Definitely, and Rainbow?” Twilight suddenly blushed as she realized that everypony was staring at them, and after their little display of affection she didn’t blame them. “I ummm…think we should leave…”
“Yeah…that might be a good idea…” Rainbow said as she draped a wing over her marefriend’s back. She led them out back out to the road, and with a shiver of excitement, they started the short trot to her house.
