Roseluck is a normal mare until the day she is whisked away to another world, an Equestria where Corona Blaze and Nightmare Moon rule side by side in the center of the Everfree forest. Still in Ponyville, Roseluck tries to escape to the only place that is untouched by corruption: Hoofington. It also has a device that will take her home. Along the way, she meets some ponies that wish to integrate her into the twisted society.

Prologue

Night crept on, ever so silently, onto the world. A crimson rose twirled in the air, a few petals falling onto fresh white snow. The pony sighed at the beautiful sight, the sigh stretching into a yawn. This is what her mother did every night it snowed before bedtime. "It's for good luck," she would say.

The mare shuddered as the scent of the rose hit her nostrils. She looked up at the stars, twinkling so bright, and smiled. Then she closed her eyes.

I wish for more snow...

And her wish came true. Only it was that really weird trans-dimensional kind.
