Edledhron stood with his sword in hand, King Sombra’s army of darkness was before him. A lone man versus hundreds of ponies, the odds were against him but still he charged into the fray swinging his sword and blocking attacks from others. Celestia watched as the Embodiment of the Elements was surrounded, for reasons she couldn’t explain she felt pity for those who went up against him.
“This is the last time I do this alone.” Edledhron said to himself as he plunged his sword into the chest of a shadow pony. “Clatto Verata Nicto!” He shouted,a light enveloped him as rainbows twirled and twisted around his sword. He held it up in the air and a bolt of purple lghtning came down and truck it sending the dark ponies flying backwards. “Shim vollar tu grest vonar!” Edledhron shouted as his free hand seemed to be engulfed in blue flame. He slammed it nto the ground sending the dark ponies sailing through the air again. “Shim golent Irtue volnert”
Twilight was watching from afar with the other element bearers. He teacher and Princess Luna stood in front of them. “What is he saying?” Twilight asked, Celestia looked at her.
“He is using a technique called ‘Sharpened Tone’. It is a form of magic only he has mastered. Even I can only dream of using it one day.” Celestia replied, Twilight stared at the sheer power of this new form of magic. After several minutes the forces of Sombra routed from the field and ran from the hooded figure.
“That is totally awesome! Magic without a horn!” Everyone turned thinking they would see Rainbow Dash when actually they found Twilight with a Squee face on.
“Hello my friends.” Edledhron said, everyone turned and gasped “What s it? Oh my face!” Edledhron pulled his mask back over his mouth and nose. “I take it you have never seen a human before?” All but Luna shook their heads, Celestia looked at her sister. “she used to rule over my people It would make sense she knew what I looked like.”
“You have no Fur?” Twilight asked more than said.
“That explains why he wears those dreadful rags.” Rarity said a little louder than she meant
“Rarity!” Celestia scolded but before she could continue Edledhron smiled and patted the Marshmallow unicorn on the head.
“I’ve heard her say worse.” Edledhron said with a grin, everyone looked at him with a quizzical expression.
“How do you know so much about us.” Twilight asked, Edledhron looked at her thoughtfully before speaking.
“I am in a sense all of you combined, your thoughts and feelings are the essence of me and Mine are the essence of you. We are joined by bounds that I barely can even explain if I had all the time in the world. As the Sole Element of Harmony I can sense what you think and say because you are my bearers. My Life force if you will.” Edledhron explained, the others just stared at him as if processing the information that they had just been given.
“So you are us and we are you?” Pinkie Pie said, Edledhron nodded but smiled sadly.
“Whats wrong?” Applejack asked, Edledhron just shook his head and looked at his hands. They were slightly paler as was his entire body.
“I have driven away the bulk of Sombras forces. Now I must return home.” Edledhron said with a sigh, his body began to shimmer a bit.
“Wait! You are leaving us! NO! You can’t there are so many questions I have!” Twilight ran over to Edledhron.
“I can only stay if the other elemental bearers want it to be so. But be warned, this means you give up being my life force and I become my own being. We will not share the same bond we have now.” Edledhron said, the others nodded. “Loytal!Honeast!Laughtare!Charitisk! Kindsenn! uand Magiska! Freedom for myself through these beings!” Edledhron yelled, the color returned to him. A beam of light fired into the sky and when it disappeared Edledhron stood taller and stronger than ever before.
“By Celestia.” twilight said, Edledhron walked towards her. he seemed to radiate pure energy.
“Thank you Twilight, you have set me free.” He said, his face filled with sadness “Unfortunatly I still must leave you now.” Twilight looked at his clothing, it had changed to a futuristic type of armor. There was an N and a 7 on the chest piece. “I must go to help another world. Know that when you need me most. I shall return.” He stood and walked away, he faded into the night but not from the memories from Twilights mind.
“Some men are born with their purpose, others must figure it out for themselves. When you know not what you are to do in life, it is time to set your own course. Let not a soul go unforgotten as you traverse your life but do not forget to look ahead to your future. Do this and your life will not be a journey but rather an adventure.”

Celestia paced back and forth as she watched the darkness of sombra spread over equestria. She was left with only one option that she hated almost as much as Sombra himself. She could use the power of the Elements of Harmony to release the secret they held ever since Celestia was a foal. She could release Edledhron
“Twilight assemble the elements, I have something to teach you.” nCelestia said to the newly crowned Princess. Twilight nodded and flew out her window towards Ponyville.
When the elements had assembled Celestia entered the room with a look of seriousness she had not shown since the griffon war. “My little ponies you hold great power within you, and together you are unstoppable. But that is only thanks to a greater power that is held withing your elements. These amulets are the essence of friendship but also the essence of a being unlike any you have seen before.” Celestia began, the elements nodded. Rainbow dashes hoof shot up.
“What kind of power?” she asked, Celestia simply spoke a few soft words and the amulets of the elements of harmony began to glow. All of them shot beams of light into the floor and slowly a form began to take shape. it was bipedal, when the light died down the amulets of the element bearers were gone and their stones turned to ash.
“Princess!” Twilight said in fear as her crown disappeared. In Front of the Ponies stood a creature clad in leather and cloth. At its hip was a sword and upon its head was a hood . It stood six feet tall and its face was covered by a scarf though its eyes ,which were visible, were stark blue.
“Edledhron? Is it really you?” Celestia asked, she had not seen this creature in eons. Though she disliked him she was glad he was here.
“Yes Celestia? Where is luna?” Edledhron asked, Celestia scowled. When He turned and saw Twilight he nodded. “Princess Twilight.” he said with a bow.
“What are you?” Pinkie Pie asked, Edledhron laughed almost exactly like pinky would.
“I am Edledhron.” Edledhron said with another bow. “I am the embodyment of the Elements of harmony.”
“Embodiment?” The six mares asked in unison, Edledhron nodded
“The Loyalist, Friendliest, funniest , Most charitable, Most Magical and Most Honest Creature you will meet.” Edledhron explained “But you haven’t answered my question, Where is luna?”
“Celestia what was that- Edledhron?” Luna interupted, when she saw Edledhron standing before her she squeed with joy. Edledhron turned and bowed before being tackle hugged by Luna. “Oh Eddy! I missed you so much!”
“Luna? My little Lu Lu you’ve gotten so big.” Edledhron said as he got back to his feet. Clestia coughed grabbing his attention. “I take it you require something Celestia?” Celesta pointed a hoof to the window and Edledhron looked outside at the darkness of king Sombra.
“We need your help Edledhron.” Celestia said grimly, Edledhron gripped his sword.
“When do you want me to leave?” He said.....
