Fluttershy slowly awoke. She felt good and smiled. I have a good feeling about today.She thought to herself. She slowly slipped out of bed and walked downstairs. She shivered a bit. It was winter time and she didn't have a fireplace. She was afraid if she did her animals could get stuck in it. Winter had it's pros like how there were no animals to take care of and she could relax but it had cons too like how she was all alone. She sighed. She picked up a brush and brushed her flowing pink hair. After she was satisfied with her hair she decided to see how her friends were doing. She slipped on her fuzzy boots,earmuffs, and scarf, opened her door then walked outside, shutting the door behind her. She walked outside when she heard a moan. She jumped a little from the sudden sound. She looked around and saw something strange. There was a motionless lump on the ground. Fluttershy thought it was an injured animal and rushed over to it and gasped.
There was a strange animal lying on the ground. It looked like a pony but it's torso was longer and its head was a much more round shape. It's mane was black and only reached an inch past what looked like two closed eyelids. It had four limbs. It's fore legs ended in what looked like a monkey's paw. Its hind legs had strange black shoes on them that were much longer than any pair Fluttershy had ever seen. It had clothing on it which covered most of it's body including it's fore legs and hind legs. The clothing covering it's foreleg's and torso was a long sleeved white shirt with a large collar and had a black vest on it,each was soaked in blood and had multiple rips and holes in them. The clothes on it's hind legs were black too and were in the same condition as the top clothes which revealed multiple wounds. It face was strange. It was flatter than a pony's face but had similarities. It had a strange protrusion right in the middle of it's face which had it's nostrils on it. It had a normal mouth,closed eyes, and strange things on the side of it's head with holes in them that she guessed to be it's ears.
Fluttershy touched it's face. It was smooth to the touch and she didn't feel any hair. When she touched it the thing groaned and opened it's eyes. It's eyes were blue like the ocean. It looked at Fluttershy and it's eyes widened. It sat straight up and backed away from Fluttershy but winced from pain. It grabbed it's side with one of it's hands. It held it's hand in front of it and saw the blood covering it. It looked at Fluttershy who just sat there too scared to move, her eyes wide with fear. The thing spoke. It's voice was a little deep so Fluttershy guessed it was a guy. "Wh-who are you?" He said as he looked around "And where am I?" Fluttershy continued to stare. The human backed away and winced in pain. Fluttershy broke out of her trance and rushed over to him "Oh my, are you okay?" She said with a gentle and worried voice like how a mother would speak to an injured child. The human looked at her. Her blue eyes were gentle and caring but the he was still scared and backed away again. Fluttershy slowly walked toward the human crouching low "It's okay I won't hurt you." She said in a gentle tone. The human stopped moving away.
Fluttershy reached toward him and touched his bleeding wound. He winced and backed away some more. Fluttershy's eyes widened "Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you." She said. The human looked at her and said "Who are you?" Fluttershy said "Oh I'm Fluttershy" She said with a smile "What's your name?" The human thought for a moment but winced and grabbed his head "All I can remember that is my name is Sebastian..." He said. Fluttershy was about to say something when Sebastian tried to get up. She noticed that he stood on 2 legs. He stood for a few seconds before he fell to his knees. He coughed and blood splattered onto the pure white snow. He collapsed onto the ground,the freezing snow stinging his skin. Fluttershy rushed over to him calling his name "Sebastian!Sebastian!"
Sebastian slowly opened his eyes. He was in a small room with pink walls. He was lying in a bed with pink pillows,blankets, and sheets. She must like pink.He thought to himself. He looked down and he wasn't wearing anything but his pants and noticed he had a thin but muscular body covered in bandages. Then he heard footsteps. They seemed to be walking up some stairs. All of a sudden the door to the room opened and in walked a yellow Pegasus with a flowing pink mane that ended in a curl and had three pink butterflies pictured on her flank. She noticed Sebastian was awake and rushed over to him "Oh thank goodness you're awake!" She said. Sebastian just stared. He couldn't think of anything to say. There was a few seconds of silence when Fluttershy spoke up. "So how are you feeling?" Sebastian looked down at his damaged body and back at Fluttershy and said "I'm okay I guess..." He said as he scratched the back of his head. Fluttershy smiled. "Good,you did sustain quite a few injuries somehow..." Sebastian looked at his wounded body and touched the blood soaked bandages. It didn't hurt. He grabbed them and pulled them off. "Wait! You're still heal-" Fluttershy stopped mid-sentence and just stared. Sebastian had no injuries except for a scar going in a diagonal fashion down his muscular body. Even though he had a tall and lanky figure, he still had a 6 pack.
Even Sebastian was surprised by his muscular body. He touched the bandages wrapped around his forehead but pulled back quickly. It still hurt so he left those on. He slipped out of the bed and stood up. Fluttershy was right when she thought he stood on 2 legs. He stood about 2 feet taller than Fluttershy. Her eyes widened as something struck her. "Oh I almost forgot!" She raced out the door and returned seconds later with a small folded pile of black clothes on her back. She took them off her back and handed them to Sebastian and he took them. "These were the clothes that you had on when I found you. They had some rips and holes so I sewed them up the best I could." Sebastian did indeed notice some stitches on the clothing which consisted of a long sleeved white shirt and a black vest,a pair of black paints, and some black shoes and socks. He put on the clothes and got up from the bed after slipping on his shoes. He stood at his full height which was a couple feet taller than Fluttershy. Fluttershy smiled when he stood up. Sebastian looked at her "What are you smiling about?" Fluttershy blushed and looked away "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean to be offensive..." She said in a shy tone. Now it was Sebastian's turn to smile. He put a hand on her shoulder and smiled "It's okay you weren't being offensive." Fluttershy looked at him. The way he smiled was strange. He would close his eyes and tilt his head to the side. Fluttershy smiled back and wrapped her forelegs around him "I'm just glad you're okay..." Sebastian was surprised at first and his eyes widened. But then he smiled again and returned her hug.
All of a sudden Sebastian's stomach growled and Fluttershy pulled away "Oh you must be hungry. I'll get you some food, follow me." She said as she walked out of the room. Sebastian followed her. He was just short enough to fit through the door without hitting his head. They walked down a small staircase and into the living room. It was pink and had a small green couch. There were birdhouses hanging from the ceiling and various other wooden things all around the room that Sebastian guessed to be animal houses. "Go ahead and sit on the couch I'll get you something to eat." Fluttershy said as she disappeared into another room. Sebastian sat down and continued to look around. After a few minutes Fluttershy came back into the room with a bowl of soup. It was steaming hot and Fluttershy had to carry it with an oven mitt. She brought it over to Sebastian "Now careful it's really hot." She said but Sebastian wasn't listening. He took it with his bare hands and gulped it down. He gasped after he finished it and smiled an enormous smile and said "That was delicious!" Fluttershy just stood there stunned,stuttering "H-how did you do that?" Sebastian looked at her confused "What do you mean?" Fluttershy was surprised he didn't know that he just gulped down a scolding hot bowl of soup in a couple seconds. But she shook it off and smiled. "Never mind." Sebastian smiled back.
All of a sudden there was a knock on the door. "Hey Shy! You in there!? Ah gotta ask ya somethin!" Fluttershy's body tensed up. The knocking continued but was getting impatient. "Shy!?" Fluttershy was trying to speak but she couldn't quite say anything. Sebastian came over and put his hands on her shoulders "Fluttershy what's wrong?" Fluttershy finally said something recognizable. "I can't let her see you...She'll think you're a monster..." Sebastian was confused until her heard the door creak open. Standing in the doorway was an orange pony with a blonde mane wearing a cowboy hat and had 3 apples pictured on her flank. She saw Sebastian with his hands on Fluttershy. Her eyes narrowed. All of a sudden she had him pinned to the ground "What are you doin' ta Shy?" Sebastian's eyes were wide open. He was gasping for breath. Fluttershy was trying to say something to the mare but she apparently couldn't hear Fluttershy. Sebastian suddenly felt a strange feeling like strength was coursing through his body. He struggled but finally he put his hands on the mare's hooves. He said "Sorry about this." Before pushing her off and sending her flying into the couch.
Fluttershy had an expression of surprise and some form of anger. Fluttershy finally said something that seemed to be the loudest she could yell "Applejack w-what are you d-doing to Sebastian!?" Applejack was confused at first and then noticed the magnitude of what she just did "Ah'm sorry Shy,I didn' know he was yer friend." Sebastian struggled to get up. He got to his knees before he coughed up blood onto the floor. Fluttershy rushed over to him "Sebastian are you okay!?" Sebastian nodded "Yeah but can I ask you something? Who is that?" Fluttershy said "That's my friend Applejack." Sebastian nodded again "Okay then. One more, did I just cough up blood onto the floor?" Fluttershy gulped "Um...Yes." Sebastian nodded yet again "Okay I lied,one more question...Is it okay if I pass out because I think my ribs have broken and stabbed a vital organ..." Fluttershy had tears on the edge of her eyes. Sebastian smiled "It's okay I won't die...I hope..." All of a sudden there was a loud and sickening crack. Sebastian suddenly bent backwards and gasped. Then something strange started happening. Golden light was shining through the clothes around his chest. This continued for a few seconds until Sebastian bent forward again breathing heavily,sweat pouring down his face. He put a hand on his chest and felt no pain. Applejack watched the whole scene unfold. Then slipped off the couch and walked over to Sebastian and put a hoof on his shoulder "Ah'm sorry Sebastian I didn't know you were Shy's friend." Sebastian looked up and smiled "It's okay. No damage done I guess." Applejack noticed the strange way he smiled but smiled back.
Sebastian got back onto his feet. Applejack was surprised at how tall he was and how he stood but continued to smile. There was a few moments of awkward silence then Fluttershy spoke up "So what was it you wanted to ask me Applejack?" Applejack seemed to snap out of a trance "Oh yeah! There's somethin' wrong with Winona. She's been actin strange lately and Ah was hopin maybe you could come see if anything is wrong with her." Fluttershy smiled "Of course Applejack but it's a little late but I can come over tomorrow." Those words caused Sebastian to look out the window. The sky was dark and the moon had already risen. Stars were littered all over the sky. Sebastian did notice he was getting tired and yawned. Applejack nodded "Okay Ah'll see ya tomorrow." She said as she walked out the door. "Okay Sebastian you can sleep in the same room you recovered in." Sebastian looked at Fluttershy and nodded with a smile.
Fluttershy walked up the stairs with Sebastian right behind her. They walked back into the room where Sebastian woke up. "Okay well I'll be in the room at the end of the hall if you need me,sweet dreams." Fluttershy said with a smile. Sebastian turned to her and smiled "Thanks see you tomorrow." Fluttershy smiled and walked out of the room. Sebastian walked over to the window in his room. He scooted a wooden chair from the corner of the room and positioned it in front of the window. He sat sown in it and stared out of the window. He put his elbow on his knee and place his chin in his hand. He started to think. Where am I and who is this Fluttershy pony? He looked at his hands. And if I'm not a pony then what am I? He stared out the window again. The world started to fade away as Sebastian's eyes drooped down and he drifted off to sleep.
