The REAL Story of Twilight Sparkleby KKRB3ChaptersChapter 1: Royal MattersChapter 4: FailureChapter 5: CagedChapter 6: ApplejackChapter 2: A New FamilyChapter 3: School SucksChapter 1: Royal Matters“GET TO WORK!” Celestia barked. “WHERE’S MY DRINK?!” A mint green unicorn with the cutie mark of a small golden harp and a tracking collar, a black strip of leather with a blinking red dot of light in the center, around her neck walked up trembling to the throne of “The Great Celestia.” It was the largest floor in the royal castle in Canterlot. It was lined with once light and dark purple walls, now turning a slight shared of grey. In the walls were large glass windows, every other being a stained glass painting, telling the tales of the harmony between the sisters, the sister’s defeat of Discord, Celestia’s defeat of Nightmare Moon, now cracked and even some are shattered. The room had large once beautiful purple stone tiles carved in the middle with Celestia’s cutie mark, now cracked and stained with spots and small pools of blood. The throne itself was made entirely out of pure gold. It had a white tapestry with a sun in the middle hanging from the top of the throne, now stained with patches of pink dried blood, down to the seat, which was a large white cushion stuffed with only the softest material and feathers of all Equestria, stained yellow with age, feathers spilling out of a rip in the side. The unicorn gave her message. “I-I’m s-sorry your highness b-but we are out of V-Vodka. Would you l-like som-” “OUT OF VODKA?!?! HOW DARE YOU SAY SUCH A THING!! GUARDS!!” Celestia screeched. Two guards in stepped out of the shadows from each side of her throne. One was a young black unicorn stallion with a silver an white mane and golden amber eyes, with a silver shield with a lightning bolt in the center, wearing the royal gold armor. The other was a even younger white unicorn stallion with mixed tints of blue in his mane, sea blue eyes, and a sparkling shield for a cutie mark, also wearing golden armor. “TAKE HER AWAY!!!” Celestia harshly commanded. “Yes your majesty.” They said in unison as they activated their magic and dragged the soon dead unicorn out of sight in a blended glow of pink-violet and orange-gold. The unicorn screamed and started bawling. “W-what…WAIT WHAT DID I DO??? PLEASE DON”T HURT ME WHAT DID I DO?!” She screamed as she was dragged away. Celestia called after the yelping unicorn and said “AND CALL ME MAJESTY!!! HIGHNESS IS FOR WEAK AND PITIFULL PRINCESSES!!!!” She soon heard, “W-what a-are you g-going to do to m- aaAAAAAAUGHHHHUUUUHHHHH!!!!!!” and crunching as a machine in the back of the palace crushed and grinded the poor unicorn to shreds. “Shouldn’t have done that…” Celestia said in a taunting whisper as a dastardly grin grew on the princess’s deranged face. A another guard came running in to the large throne room and skidded to a halt before the princess. She snapped back to attention and asked “Why are you here? State your business guard.” “Your majesty, we *gasp* found a young filly on the streets. What *gasp* shall we do with her *gasp*?” he panted. “Hmmm…..” the princess thought about this. “…about how old is she?” “Very young. Barley above a foal.” “Hmmm…. Put her in an adoptive family in the secondary castle. She shall be raised normally until she is old enough. Got it?” “Yes your majesty. What family should she be put with?” “The Armour’s shall do.” Chapter 4: FailureThat night, (of which Luna, Celestia's sister and favorite slave, created) Twilight walked back to Celestia’s castle, her home, hanging her head, tears streaming down her cheeks, silently sobbing to herself. She entered the tall, golden castle doors, trying to make as little sound as possible, so that she would not disturb Celestia, and possibly be executed. She tippy-hooved down the hall to the large violet stairs. She then climbed five flights of stairs, winded once she reached the top. She drowsily drug herself to her room on the castle floor. All slaves had their own room, nothing like Celestia’s. Celestia had a royal grand bedroom, with a soft plush circular bed made of the same materials as her cushion on the throne, resting upon a golden bed frame, a mere foot off the ground. It had a large blanket with images of the Elements of Harmony sewn into it. The pillow was soft and very plush for her majesty’s head. The bedroom itself was a circular room large enough to fit four ponies comfortably. It had large white walls lined with golden pillars, each with a column of suns carved into them, all around her room. It had a large rug resting on the center of the floor, covering the same type of tiles as in the throne room. On the ceiling was a large painting of the harmonizing sisters swirling around a large gold chandelier covered with the sweetest fragrant candles in all of Equestria. It was beautiful… But the slaves had the complete opposite type of rooms. It was just a small, cold, deep grey stone cube room, with a tiny cracked light bulb on a string, a few wet and ripped cardboard mats, and a cheap cardboard box for a table… that’s it. That’s all they had for a whole home, much less a bedroom. Twilight opened the door with her magic, walked in, and found Celestia, a stern look on her face, Mrs. Sparkle, weeping, Mr. Sparkle, trying to calm her, and two stone faced stallion guards. One of which was… “Shining Armor?” She asked. She looked at her own brother in disbelief. Shining Armor just kept looking forward, no change in expression. Celestia spoke first. “Twilight Sparkle,” She began. “By order of the School for Gifted Unicorns, you have FAILED your test. Because of such, you shall be taken AWAY from your family, NEVER get the chance to leave here, and be my PERMANT SLAVE!!!” Celestia shouted. She then burst out with a cruel and screeched laughter, like one of a cartoon villain. “…WHAT?!” Twilight shrieked. She started to cry again. Taken away? Never leave? A slave? Twilight felt light headed. Her world spun before her as she faintly heard “TAKE HER AWAY!!” She then heard a muffled scream, and felt herself being dragged away by a force field. Then it all went black. Chapter 5: CagedTwilight woke up in a dark room. So dark, she couldn't even see past her own bleeding nose. Her head was throbbing, her world still spinning before her. Once she finally got bearings, she tried to look around the room. All she could see was black, black, and more black. She tried to rub her head with her hoof, but found that it was held tightly in place. She felt a tight strap around her neck as well, and only saw a faint red glow. “Where am I?” she asked aloud. As if to answer her question, a light flickered on. A small but bright light bulb, brighter than the one in her “home”, was hanging in the middle of the room. She flinched for a second from the immediate light source, but then looked around the room again. She finally caught a glimpse of the horrifying scene. She was in a small room, again similar to her “home”, except the front wall directly across from her was a line of rusted steel bars. She was in a cage. A cold, dark, stone cage, covered with mysterious blood splatters on every wall, even the ceiling. It looked as if a bunch of ponies were stuffed in here and spontaneously combusted one by one, spraying blood and organs in every direction. She tried her hardest not to vomit before her. She failed and emptied her stomach contents on to the cold stone floor, right on top of a vomit looking stain. Looks like she wasn't the first. What was holding her back was a set of chains on each of her hooves, gripping her to the wall. She could move a little, but not much. There was nothing holding back her torso or her head though, just her hooves. She hung there like a fly stuck in a spider web, about one or two feet off the ground. And the tight feeling around her neck was a collar. A slave collar. She heard a faint cough from the opposite side of the bars. She asked again, “Where am I?”. A stallion that she recognized all too well turned to her and snapped “Quiet you brat!!” “S-Shining Armour?” The guard ignored her. “Shining Armour… GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!” She screeched. She thrashed around in her chains. He just turned to her and said, quite harshly, “QUIET YOU!! Do you want to die right now, in this cage?!” Twilight just whimpered. “Thought so… you maggot.” Twilight slumped back down in her cage, and softly cried. “Y-….You know *sniffle* S-Shining… I… I do k-know I’m…*sniffle*…” “You know WHAT?!” He barked angrily. “… adopted…*sniffle*” Shining Armour was silent. She couldn't tell if he was surprised or sad. Probably at this point a little of both. His expression softened a bit. Yep… definitely sad. “…you know about that?” He asked softly. “Yes Shining. I-I heard mother and father arguing about how I will never fit in or I will find out the truth that I’m….” she trailed off as she started to tear up again. “I…I…I’m sorry, Twiliy… that you had to find out about your adoption like this…” If Twilight saw correctly by the dim light, Shining Armour was starting to cry as well. “Why did you have to fail your test, Twiliy? You could be in Ponyville by now…” He started to cry. “I…I failed the test and I wanted *sniffle* you to pass… for the both of us… so that you wouldn’t have to-” He was interrupted by a slam of a large golden door. It was Celestia, and she was closing in on Shining, a stern look on her face. One, out to kill. “SHINING ARMOUR!!” She shouted in the Royal Canterlot Voice. She hadn't used that voice for over 1,000 years. Shining Armour knew he was in big trouble. As in, probably dragged off to the grinder and shredded into fajita meat for Celestia’s dinner, big trouble. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” She bellowed. He quickly dried his tears and tried to act like nothing happened. “Your Majesty, I was jus-” “SHUT IT!! I saw what you did…” “But Your Majesty I-“ “SHINING ARMOUR SHUT IT OR SO HELP ME I WILL KILL YOU MYSELF!!!” Shining Armour looked away, frightened and depressed. Celestia took a deep breath and did the Royal Canterlot Sigh to calm herself. Twilight just watched silently, trying not to cry. “Now…Shining… what have I TOLD you??” She said through her clenched teeth. Shining straightened himself into a saluting position as he recited the law. “Section Five, Rule 62: Never speak to Slaves or Prisoners, Your Majesty.” He said in a noble war tone. “Correct…now OBEY that rule or you and “Twiliy” will BOTH DIE A SLOW AND PAINFUL DEATH!!! Is that understood?” Shining slumped down again. “Yesyourmagesty…” he mumbled. “WHAT WAS THAT?!” Celestia demanded. “YES YOUR MAJESTY!!” Shining yelled. “Good… now get back your shift…” she said as she walked off. “Whew…” Shining said. He looked back at Twilight, who had her head down, trembling, and silently sobbing to herself once again. Shining felt hurt seeing his “younger sister” like this. He wanted to get her out, have them both escape to ponyville, and never see this awful place again. But if he took that risk, he would be putting their and many other lives on the line. So he just turned around, standing guard. Twilight finally started to calm down when she heard something. Her ears flickered. She looked up with sore, watery eyes, and heard it again… but clearer this time. “Hey sugar cube…” Chapter 6: Applejack“Hey sugar cube.” the voice said harshly. Twilight looked around. The voice had a thick southern accent to it. Twilight almost… recognized it. “W-who’s there?” Twilight stammered. “That’s mah question. Who the buck are you?” “I-I’m Twilight. Now w-who and where are you?” Twilight was getting frightened and annoyed at the same time now. The stranger that somehow knew her was giving no information. “Ah’m Applejack. And for yer second question, ah’m in the cell next to ya. How’d you get here, Twiddletoes?” I…It's T-Twilight... I... I f-failed the test…” Twilight said mournfully. She was starting to cry, the memories all too fresh. She shuddered. “Ah…I see…” She said in a soft tone, as if she knows how Twilight feels. “Big Macintosh… my older brother… had the same fate. But he tried to fight back against the Royal Celestial Guards and… was killed immediately…” Twilight heard a soft sobbing tone beside her. Applejack’s brother… killed? She cringed as she imagined the gruesome scene. The large stallion fighting against two guards, one of which is shining armour. The stallion is thrashing and screaming in a force field of magic, desperately trying to break free. But he is immediately caught by their strong magic and is put into the position of a star, all limbs spread out in different directions, on a wooden frame. The frame it a rectangle with a large X in the back, but with a hole in the center. Celestia appears from the shadows, a stern look on her face, one to kill. “You failed…” she groans. “Guess you shoulda studied for your test…” She says menacingly. She bows her royally insane head, a twisted smile growing menacingly across her face. She slowly backs up, looks at Big Macintosh, stops, beats her hooves like a bull, and charges. Celestia’s horn pierces through the center of his chest, exiting the back, and through the hole in the frame. The blow punctures his heart and the side of his left lung. He gasps for air as blood drips down Celestia’s horn, the liquid drooling down like thick cherry syrup. Celestia retracts her horn, now stained red. Big Macintosh struggles to breath as blood gushes and spurts out of the circular wound. It drools down her forehead, down the center of her face, to her lips. She sticks out her royal tongue and lets the blood drip onto it. She lets out a faint “Mmmm…” as she leans forward, places her tongue in the center of his stomach, and proceeds to slowly drag it up his body, catching every last drop of blood. She drags her tongue up his sweaty coat, up his chest, up his neck, up the side of his face, up to the tip of his ear. She then retracts her tongue to swish the blood and sweat in her mouth, and swallow. She lets out a faint sigh from the elegantly delicious mixture. She then leans to his ear, and whispers to where Big Macintosh can barely hear her, “Goodbye…” she comes back into his line of sight, which is slowly fading, winks, leans forward, and kisses him with her blood stained lips. He moans as his eyes roll to the back of his skull, his body slumps, and his coat turns a reddish-grey. Celestia then releases him from the kiss. The guards carry the lifeless body to the back of the castle, Celestia following close behind. They take the body to the back room… the grinder. They enter the room and seal the large steel door behind them. The guards look at Celestia, who nods, nod at each other, hover the frame above the grinder, and release it. The frame, with the body still attached, plummets to the machine’s spiked rollers. It immediately catches the frame, firing blood, flesh, and wood splinters in all directions. The guards and Celestia both shield their eyes from the flying debris. The debris soon stops, the machine slows, and the body and frame are both gone. Nothing but blood, some pieces of Big Macintoshes organ here and there, and the occasional splinter or two. The guards unseal the door, open it, and they leave the grinder room. Twilight shuddered. She heard a hiccupping sob from the other cell. She tried to comfort the heart broken mare. “I…I’m sorry…” Twilight said quietly. “…about… him…” “Ah know… I *hiccup* am too Twi… *sniffle*” Applejack continued to sob for a many more minutes while she thought of the memories with her brother. She and Big Macintosh had worked together on their farm, Sweet Apple Acres, since they were little. When they were old enough, Granny Smith let them buck apple trees, plow fields, take care of family and such. But one day, when Applejack was just a filly, a group of four stallion pegasi were pulling a chariot, with Princess Celestia as the passenger. After all six (tired) pegasi landed on the farm grounds, Celestia stepped out of the carriage. She stepped forward to the apple family, a dark look on her face. Granny Smith huddled the young Applejack and Macintosh closer to her. All three were scared. Why was Celestia here? Why did she have that evil look on her face? Why was she drawing closer to her and her brother? So many thoughts were racing through her head but were soon interrupted by a dark voice. Chapter 2: A New FamilyTwilight Sparkle. Twilight Sparkle. That was a good name for the newest family member. Twilight Sparkle. Mr. and Mrs. Armour received another child, accept this one came in the mail. The child had a name tag stating “Hello! My name is _____ Sparkle! Name me!” They already had a son, Shining Amour, who was there bloodline son. And now they have a daughter, an adoptive daughter. They looked into the basket with tired eyes, but with a smile upon their face non the less. They loved their child just the same. They raised her side by side with Shining Armor so that she didn’t feel so different from the rest of the family. They even changed their last names to Sparkle to make her feel more welcomed. She seemed like she never even noticed her differences. But she did. A feeling of unbelonging grew as she grew. She also felt a darkness grow within her as well... Chapter 3: School SucksWhen Twilight was finally old enough, she was sent to the School for Gifted Unicorns. She was taught very strictly by a just as strict teacher. Little did she know she was being brainwashed into becoming one of Celestia’s slaves. She learned how to serve Celestia, talk to Celestia, and accept Celesta’s EVERY command, no matter what it was. Eat your leg? You do it. Kill your siblings for dinner? You do it. Take a dull knife and saw your leg off and use it as Celestia’s “toy”? You do it! Any disobeyed commands would end in death. If you were lucky, it would be quick. If not, she will make it as slow and painful as possible. But there was a break though. For if you succeeded school and were the most loyal companion to the princess, you might be set free to live in Ponyville. Twilight took notes on these subjects. She was a wonderful student. She made it up until right before graduation. She just had to pass one simple test to be set free of this prison. The teacher handed out the tests one by one. Twilight was given long instructions to the test such as no cheating, use strategies, ect. The instruction she WASN’T ready for though, was that she only had 1 hour to complete the test. 1 hour. The test had 120 questions. It was due in 1 hour?! Twilight gulped. ‘Ok Twilight, you can do this. Just calm down.’ the told herself. “ALRIGHT STUDENTS…” The teacher stated in a raspy tone. “BEGIN!!!!” Twilight picked up a pencil off her desk with her magic, flipped open the packet, and looked at the questions. Her jaw dropped. Question 1: (9^62773 + 2)^83721= 83721 x log (9^62773 + 2) Question 2: log (9^62773 + 2) = 62773 (0.954242509) + ( 0.301029996) Question 3: (7^63967 + 4)^84767= 63659 x log (4^64769 + 9) And so on and so fourth. Twilight started to panic. She couldn’t forget now. Not now when your life latterly depended on this test. She tried to figure the problems out in the 1 hour she had. She got through 2/3 of the test when she heard the worst. Possible. Thing. Ever. “TIME‘S UP!!!” She dropped her pencil. She teared up. With watery eyes, she got out of her seat, somberly walked to the front of the class, and placed her test on the teacher’s desk. She was going to be Celestia’s slave. And die very soon.
Chapter 1: Royal Matters“GET TO WORK!” Celestia barked.
