Luna's Gaming Tournament

It was nighttime in Ponyville and Twilight and her friends were on a train to canterlot to meet with Princess Luna. Apparantly, Luna sent them a letter telling them to come to the Canterlot castle for an urgent reason. They had no idea why she told them to come but based on her sloppy handwriting, they saw it as danger and immediately left for the castle. Her letter also said to bring the Cutie Mark Crusaders and Spike along with them.

As the train stops at the Canterlot train station, they start asking questions about what will happen when they get there.

"Do you think she's ok? Her handwriting was kinda rushed as though if she were in a dire situation" Twilight said towards her friends.

"Ah dont know Twilight. Im just as worried as you are and ah hate to see the princess hurt" Applejack replied, who was jist as worried as Twilight.

"Well were not gonna going to know unless we get going." Rainbow Dash said. The 9 ponies and dragon then made their way to the Canterlot castle.

When they got there, they were met by Luna's night guards.

"Halt. State your business here." One of them said. Twilight showed the guard the letter and the guard let them in.

"I feel bad for them, they gotta go through...you know." One of the guards said.

"Sucks to be them." The other one said.

Inside, the nine ponies and dragon were followed by Twilight to go to Luna's throne room since she is the only one who knows where it is.

When they arrived at the room, they noticed seven other ponies at the front door. One was a grey pegasus with a yellow mane and weird cross-eyes. Next to her were two mares, a grey earth pony with a fancy brown-black mane, and a white unicorn with a electric blue mane wearing purple shades. Below them were three foals, about the crusaders age. One was a white pegesi colt with a brown mane, another was a white brown spotted earth pony colt with a brown mane, and finally, a white-grey pegesi colt with a jet black mane.

"Well if it isnt the mane 6, their pet dragon, and the 3 little sisters. Let me guess, you got a sloppily written letter by Princess Luna telling you to come here for something important?" The blue maned one said.

"Don't be like that Vinyl. We got them too. I'm not too sure why we were told to come here." The grey black maned one said.

"It's ok Vinyl and Octavia. But we don't know why we were told to come here too. This is strange." Twilight said. The crusaders went up to the colts.

"Featherweight, Pipsqueak, Rumble? You guys are here too?" Scootaloo questioned.

"Yeah. Me, Rumble and Pipsqueak were sent a letter by Luna to tell us to come here. For an odd reason, our parents couldn't come so Derpy became our chaperone." Featherweight said.

"Mines told me that there would be muffins involved."  Derpy said.

"Yes we know Derpy, and I never expected you three here." He added. They all chatted about stuff for the past 10 minutes until the doors finally opened. All fifteen ponies and dragon went in the double doors.

Went they went inside, they met face to face with the princess of the night herself.

"Hello everypony. I am glad you are all here to join me at this night. There is something important we need to do tonight and I can't do it any other night. Please follow me into the room behind me and we shall discuss what will happen tonight." She said as she trotted into the room behind her. They all followed her into the room only to be met with darkness.

"I'm kinda scared." Sweetie Belle said. Featherweight held her as they went in for protection. They had become each other's special somepony sometime before this.

"Ok Luna. Tell us what is going on now!" Twilight said as she was getting angry.

"Ok then Twilight. Welcome everypony to MY GAMING ROOM!" She yelled while turning on the lights. they all saw something they had never expected to see from a princess of the night.

The room itself was big but what caught their attention was a gigantic screen that spelt "LUNA'S GAMING TOURNAMENT". Aside from that, there were two big stands in front of the big screen, one red and the other blue. To the left of the stands were refreshments, enough to feed a family of dragons, and some seats. To the right of the stands were the same thing.

"So what do you think about it?"

Everypony and Spike had their jaw hanging

"Hello? Equestria to ponies? Are you there?"

"So you dragged us all here for a tournament?" Twilight said.

"Yup. I wanted to test your skills and see how well you can perform in these video games. Plus Celestia is out for the weekend so I'm gonna be bored throughout that time. Now I'm sure most of you played some type of video game before, so that's why I picked you sixteen."

"What about Lyra? She's boss at games like call of duty?" Derpy said.

"And Trixie?" Twilight added.

"Also why not Button Mash?" Rumble also added.

"Finger addiction, show off, and I don't know who Button Mash is." Luna replied.

"Ok then, did Celestia let you do this?" Twilight said.

"Look at the left and read the letter weittin be Celestia."

The letter read this..

This letter was writtin by Celestia to allow usage to me and my sisters gaming room under Luna's supervision

"Ok then. Why the foals?" Twilight added.

"We wanted ponies at ages close to the games to join. Don't worry about the parents. They already know. I told them if they don't wanna play, they will be teleported home."

"Well...ok Luna I'll join your little tournament." Twilight said with a smirk.

"Excellent. If any other pony wants to leave then now is your chance. If not, you will join my tournament." Everypony discussed this for a while and eventually, they all decided to join in the tournament.

"Oh, most wonderful! Now in every tournament, we will of course have rules. Firstly, I will talk about the layout of the tournament. Since there are sixteen of you, we will have a 4 round tournament. In every round, we will play a different game in each round. For the first round, there will be eight matches, Second round will have four matches, third round will have two matches and the fourth and final round will be one match. Each match is one vs one, and the winner will move to the next round while the loser has a choice, stay with their friends, or go home. Also the winner of the tournament will be able to face one final challenge, me. Before I start this tournament, I will tell you now that there will be absolutely NO MATURE RATED games in this. So no Call of Duty or Halo or anything like that. Also, Discord!"

"Right on it Luna." The ponies saw a flash of light and when it was gone, all the unicorns and pegesi had no horns and wings respectively.

"Since she want to keep it fair, she told me to remove your horns and wings. You will use your hooves only for the time being. Don't worry, they will be returned when the tournament is over, or when a loser wants to go home early." Discord said as the god of chaos went to get a drink.

"So now that that's all settled, are you ready?" Luna said.

"Yes!" They all said.

"Then let the tournament begin."
