The saying "treat others how you want to be treated" is obviously not everypony in Ponyville's philosophy. Carrot Top, probably one of the kindest mares in Ponyville, is constantly subjected to meaningless assaults. They ambush her in the town square, interrogate her every time she leaves her house, and somepony always has a rock or two on hand to throw at her. Carrot Top eventually realises how wrong this is, and it infuriates her. She decides there is but one way to put an end to this.
