Chapters New Potion (Wilson's POV)
Wilson was still in his little hut.... on top of his little hill.... making little potions.... of magic...
All sorts of potions were made in that old, rickety, out-of-place hut. It's slanted roof were made of rotting squares of wood, and some were missing, but Wilson never bothered replacing it. It had a large, round, filthy window on the second floor, so encrusted with grime and cobwebs that it would be used as more of a cheap lamp, than an actual window. An unnecessarily large, slanted, grimy door tied the old place together, and though it was not pretty, Wilson called it home.
Inside of the rotting hut, was an even more rotten person, you guessed it, Wilson. He spent long days and nights in the tiny cramped room, making practically useless potions, gadgets, and other contraptions, but this time, he decided to wet his hands in a little witchcraft. He had spent weeks in there, perfecting the perfect brew to get him out of this place for good!
His tiny room consisted of a chest, a cauldron, and a bookshelf. His best friend for the moment, lived downstairs from him. A pig named Jeffrey. He was loyal and strong, but was dreading the day that either his master died or went away. Every day, he seemed to get more and more nervous and jumpy, as if some event were about to take place.
"Hey, Jeffrey, can you fetch me some grass and berries please. I feel that my brew is almost finished!" Wilson asked his friend excitedly, poking his head down from a small trapdoor in his floor.
"At once sir..." Jeffrey replied wistfully, opening the old creaking door, and closed it wearily behind him.
As soon as he left, Wlson swung up, and tossed the finishing touches to the bubbling brew.
"There. At least he'll be destracted when I leave.... poor guy..." Wilson muttered to himself, slipping a small not through the trapdoor.
Turning his attention to the children again, he noticed that there was hardly any liquid left to fill a cup. Gently, Wilson tossed some water onto the dying embers below the cauldron, making a small plume of steam rise. He took a cup, and poured the last of the liquid into the cup. Looking down onto his witchcraft hand-guide for instructions, and it seemed that he had to drink this foul smelling liquid.
“Eh, I've had worse." Wilson commented, gulping down the liquid, "Oh, God! Oh, and the after taste to!"
Wilson instinctively rubbed his tongue with his hands to be rid of the foul taste. Suddenly, for whatever reason, Wilson suddenly got possibly the worst headache he ever had in his entire life.
"Oh God this hurts..." Wilson groaned, his elbow on the edge of the cauldron, holding his throbbing head.
After a few moments, his eyes fell across a small reflective bit of metal on the cauldron. Focusing on it, Wilson bend down and viewed his reflection. Everything was reliably normal, other than two large horse hears on the top of his head.
"Uh, this is different." Wilson commented, not panicking in the slightest.
Soon, he noticed a long tail coming out from his back, and was a deep grey colour. Suddenly life flashed before Wilson's eyes, as he was forced onto his hands and knees. Pain shot through his entire body, as it changed and grew. Within moments he looked more pony than human.
Closing his eyes and sighing, Wilson accepted the changes. Soon, all of the pain ebbed away to nothing, and Wilson opened his eyes once more. His body was a white-ish grey colour, and his mane and tail was a deep grey. Leaning over, Wilson surveyed his new changes with eyes of wonder.
"Eh. I've been through worse times." Wilson grunted half-mindedly, brushing off the dust.
Wilson closed his black eyes for a moment, and opened them, the colour of them, orange. Looking back to the cauldron for a moment, he studied his new eye colour. Smiling with satisfaction, Wilson turned back to his witchcraft book. Suddenly he noticed underneath the bold heading "Teleportation Potion", a small clump of dirt. Careful not to tear the page, Wilson dusted it away with his large hoof, and read the title again. "Teleportation Potion...
...To Equestria"
Feeling all heat drain from his face Wilson closed the book with a shaking hoof. He sat heavily on his haunches as he thought of a solution. Just as he thought of an idea, a silvery, mirror-like portal opened underneath him. Wilson seemed ho hang in the air for a moment as he said;
"Oh dear."
And dropped through it. The space around him was a swirl of different colours. Somehow, on his way through, a crimson unicorn with a bright red mane carreared into him.
"Do you mind!" it snarled angrily kicking him away.
Suddenly another pony -a pegasus to be specific- rammed into them. The pegasus was pure white, with a soft yellow mane.
"Sorry..." it said simply, attempting to crawl away.
Another silver portal opened, and the three ponies were tossed through it in a heap. They seemed to be in front of a large mirror in some sort of hollow tree library.
"Ok... that hurt..." Wilson commented, sitting up.
"Eyup.." agreed the white pegasus sitting up too.
"Dipsticks...." growled the crimson unicorn, still on it's belly, it's chin on the ground.
Wilson averted his gaze to see six multi-coloured ponies starring at them with dumbfounded expressions on their faces.
Wilson gulped. This wasn't going to be easy to explain.
Freaking Red Theives! (Willow's POV)
It was a normal day for Willow. Wandering around, burning things.... walking a bit more.... burning more things....
But, at the end of the day, once her firepower was depleted, she had no choice but to end her fiery rampage and rest, much to her displeasure. And today was no different.
Returning home after a long days burn, Willow was more tired than usual. Probably due to the reason that she had torched a tallbird, and those things are supposed to be fire resistant, so it wasn't easy.
Her little home was composed of a chair thing, a farm plot and a single chest. Not much to live by, but when you're out and about burning things, you tend to come past alot of things.
Exhausted, Willow flopped down on her little bamboo-like sun bed thing, and closed her eyes for a moment and rested. As soon as she did so, there was a loud moan coming from her, and she rolled her eyes. She sat up, and her stomach groaned even louder, as if determined to let the world know of it's hunger. Angrily flicking open her chest, she found that almost all of the contents were stolen. The only thing left at the bottom was a small cup filled with a stinky, purplish liquid of some sort. Drawing her lips away from her teeth in disgust, Willow was tempted to slam the chest, until her stomach roared loudly in defiance.
Lifting out the cup, Willow sniffed it, and rolled her eyes. Counting to three in her head, she drank it down in one mouthful.
"Yuck!" Willow snarled, her tongue killing out of her mouth in a disapproving way.
She suddenly heard a soft giggle from ahead of her, and she readied her spear and looked up.
There was some sort of fat, devil like creature there, carrying a large leather sack. It had two large horns on top of it's head and short, sharp claws on it's hands and feet. It laughed even more.
"Come catch me!" it taunted, and waved to her, before turning round and begining to walk slowly away.
Staggering to her feet, Willow began to follow, but fell down by a small pool of water. Watching her reflection, Willow noticed two horse like ears on top of her head. Continually watching, she saw something sprout from her forehead, and became a horn. Fear and horror passing through her, she looked into the pool of water and witnessed her body go through changes. Forced onto her hands and knees, she watched, helplessly, as muscle built around her arms legs and chest, making them quite thick and powerful. Her hands were torn away as sharp hooves replaced them. Pain thunder through her face as a muzzle pushed out of her face. Feeling as if she were about to faint from the pain, Willow saw as her tattered clothing was torn away, showing a deep crimson fur. A mane and tail quickly grew, a bright red colour, like fire it was.
Feeling the pain fade away, Willow stood defiantly on her new set of hooves, startling the red thief confronting her. Rearing back, Willow roared her best battle cry, which sat heavy in the YAAAAARGH!! bit in the scale of all battle cries, and charged at the thief. Quickly turning, the red thief began to flee in fear.
Charging as fast as she could, Willow was begining to catch up to the red thief. She was close right up until she leapt and it took a sharp right. Tumbling through the air, Willow saw herself flying straight into a large mirror like object.
"Gi`mme a break!" Willow complained as she collided with the mirror, and instead of coming out the other side, she found herself in a large tunnel thing, with the walls made of spiralling colours.
Suddenly, she colided with a whitish grey pony with a dark grey mane.
"Do you mind!" Willow snarled, kicking him away.
Not so long after, a pure white pegasus with a light yellow mane collided with the grey pony.
"Sorry..." it murmured, crawling away.
Soon they hit the exit of the portal thing, and wound up in a library.
"Dipsticks." Willow growled, still on the ground.
The other two were sitting up, looking around at everything, while Willow`s eyes were locked in the middle of the room, where six ponies all stood with dumbfounded looks on their faces.
Willow rolled her eyes. Well, this is awkward.
A harsh, cold wind blew across the field in which Wendy lived. The tall grass served Wendy no shelter from the vicious winds, so every night, Wendy cowered for what little heat there was in this desolate place. The only source of heat for miles, was her tiny little camp, and the fire was usually not started by her.
"Here, Abigail..." Wendy took a sharp flint, and sliced open her own hand.
Blood welled at the wound, and Wendy cringed. The ghost of her sister descended from the sky, and landed in front of Wendy. It's pale eyes opened and focused on the blood. a long, spindly little arm reached out from the ghost, and touched the wound. The blood was sucked up, and the cut was instantly healed. Hovering a little higher, the ghost made a large fire pit appear below her.
"Thank you very much, sister." Wendy smiled as she watched her sister leave.
Wendy sat around the newly made campfire, and tossed what little food she had onto it. Gently, she looked over to the flint.
Grasping it once more, Wendy slit her hand once more, and Abigail came.
"A-Abigail." Wendy gulped, unsure of how her sister may react, "Can you stay with me a little longer?"
The ghost's eyes were round with shock as she seemed to have not been expecting this question.
"Is that a no?" Wendy asked, tilting her head slightly.
Abigail shook her head viciously. She lifted her hand, and the cut on Wendy's hand evaporated, but Abigail did not take the blood. Wendy looked up, very confused, and saw Abigail float over to her, and sit by her side.
"But- you took no blood. I thought you needed an offering." Wendy said to her sister
Abigail giggled, "I do not need an offering, to be your sister. I thought you knew that."
A dreary smile drew across the ghosts face and they both giggled.
"Oh no!" Wendy cried, and she grabbed the burned up food, "Dang it.... Now I have no food..."
Silence filled the air. No more giggles or anything. The only sound heard was the ice cold winds whisking across the plains. The sky started to brighten, and Wendy's sister soon faded away with the night.
Wendy sighed, and stood up. She cupped her hand over her eyes to see if there was anything nearby. Nothing. Not even the tiny blade of grass could be seen, let alone trees. The only thing that could be seen for miles in every direction, was stamped-down straw.
Hopelessly, Wendy fell onto her knees, and glanced to where his sister was. A small cup was placed there, filled with a purple, stinky liquid. It reminded her of mushy monster meat. A shiver ran down her spine as she thought of the vile stuff. Thinking of food began to make Wendy hungry. She reached down, and grabbed the cup.
Gently, Wendy drank it down, sip by sip. Once she was done, her stomach was strangely full. Gently from the sky, her sister descended once more. Gently, Abigail landed in front of her. Without speaking, Abigail leapt into her. Information flooded over Wendy, and she fell to her side, feeling her mind burn. Soon, the pain stopped, and Wendy stood up- or as close to standing up as she could.
"Gorgeous..." murmured Abigail from inside Wendy's head, "Oh- almost forgot...."
In front of Wendy's eyes, a little stem grew, and a large white rose flourished.
"Put it in your ear, it will make you look simply divine." Abigail said gently.
Leaning forward, Wendy lifted up her hand, only to find it transformed into a hoof. Fear rising, Wendy was beginning to give in to panic.
"Calm down.... You must stay in this form to be able to deal with all of the information in my mind, because otherwise, your mind will burn." Abigail explained.
Glancing onto her back, Wendy saw two wings folded there, each feather the same pure white. Her mane was soft and fragile, and seemed to be a lovely creamy yellow. Gently smiling and doing as her sister said, Wendy sliced the stem of the rose with her hoof, and placed it on her ear.
"Divine..." Abigail muttered, "Oh dear."
"Is something wrong?!" Wendy spoke in alarm.
"No, no. But I seem to be feeling envious!" Abigail chuckled, but suddenly her laughter was cut off, "something's wrong..."
"What?" Wendy murmured in fear as she continuously turned round in every direction.
"Stop for a moment..." Abigail hushed, "To the North- not that way, the other way."
Went turned unroll Abigail had deemed it North. There was a sudden flash of light, and a large mirror like portal opened, and began sucking Wendy in.
"Abigail , what do I do?!" Wendy shouted in alarm.
"There is nothing you can do..." the voice in Wendy`s head seemed to be fading away.
"Abigail? Abigail! No! Don't go!" fear and worry broke into Wendy's voice as invisible hands tugged her into the portal.
The portal was large and seemed to be made of a tornado of spinning colour. Wendy fell onto a light grey pony with a deep grey mane, and a crimson unicorn with a fire-red mane.
"Sorry..." Wendy muttered, trying to get away.
Soon, they hit the portal wall, and entered entered through through into the next world. The room they were in seemed to be a hollow tree used as a library.
"Ok... that hurt..." murmured the grey pony, rubbing his shoulder with his hoof.
"Eeyup..." Wendy agreed.
"Dipsticks..." growled the crimson unicorn, still on her belly.
Looking away from the rude unicorn, Wendy then discovered six multi-coloured ponies starring right at them.
