The Elements

A blue Dragon winged alicorn with a red mane stood on a pond, bubbles floating around her. The ring of Orange fire around the pond barely stopped burning. The Alicorn's concentration was broken by a thump.

"Hey. Misty Flame." Said a grey pegasus with a spikey green mane with Dragon wings and green eyes.

Misty opened one blood red eye, and after seeing who was there, groaned in annoyance.

"What do you want, Rock Wind? And do not say to hang out, because I am following orders, and maintaining balance  the Elements I control."

"Well," Rock Wind stated sharply, "I WOULD if you hadn't taken away my horn." Misty Flame rolled her eyes, and magically returned her brother his horn.

"Happy."

"Yep"

"Good. Just don't remove my concentration from maintaining the stronger elements again, or I will leave you as an earth pony. GOT IT!"

"Why do you get fire and water, and I get earth and air?"

She gave an annoyed glare to her brother. "Father trust me more." She glanced at her cutie mark, a blue and orange flame. "I am older too. And better with magic."

"I'm going to throw rocks at Baltimare."

"No. You need to practice CONTROLLING the minor elements. Not destroying enemy grounds."

"But-"

"NO!" A flame was blown from the young mare's mouth, landing on her brother's wing. Then she drenched him in water. "Now GO!"

Rock walked off. Misty rolled her eyes.

Well. I don't goof off, off and take life seriously. Now back to work. but she still felt wrong, and that feeling increased when high winds blew out the fire around her pond.
