Chapter 1: World's Collide

My name is Shadow the Hedgehog. I've been working for the GUN ever since I've learned my true past. Right now they've assigned me to defeat the Dr. before he starts his evil scheme. Finally, the humans decide to think for once. So here I am, at the Dr.'s evil lair surrounded by millions of egg pawns. How pathetic, they think they can stop me. With my Chaos emerald, they don't stand a chance for I show no mercy.

"CHAOS CONTROL!" I shouted and immediately I was high above them. "CHAOS SPEAR" I shouted once more as I shot thousands of chaotic spears down at the egg pawns. I touched the ground leaving piles of scrap behind me. "Naturally" I thought to myself. Just then I heard another sound from behind, then a blue light zipped past me. Followed by yellow, red, and pink figures, and I knew I wasn't the only one trying to stop the Dr. "Looks like Sonic and his friends have the same idea, but this is my mission and not theirs." I thought and, using my sonic speed I easily caught up to them.

"Hey Shadow, are you here to help us stop Eggman too?" Sonic said as we ran.

"I'm here because this was my mission, nothing more." I replied.

"Well whatever, thanks for helping us out." He said back. Is he always this idiotic?

We ran into eggpawns, traps, and anything else the Dr. could try and stop us with. Sonic and his friends were blind sighted by what looked like a replica of e102-y. I saw it coming so I passed it but the others took some time to catch up. They need to learn what to expect. Suddenly we were surrounded by giant, silver eggpawns that looked bigger than usual. It took us awhile but we managed to demolish them completely. Everyone else had to catch their breath which I thought was a waste of time. We finally caught up to the Dr. and, with no surprise for me, he was ready for us.

"Ah, Sonic. I was wondering when you'd show up, you've seemed to be getting a lot slower lately." laughed the Dr. He had the master emerald with him, which means he could do something powerful and unimaginable to us.

"Well, I'm still fast enough to get through you're traps and to stop you in your tracks." Sonic replied triumphantly.

"Well then, let's see how fast you are without your friends supporting you." the Dr. said and with that there was a laser that started to shoot at us.

"Sonic, go! We'll distract them." shouted Tails. While we had our minds on the laser, Sonic ran to the Dr., but I knew it was a trap.

"Sonic, NO!" I shouted but it was too late. Sonic was trapped. Finally Knuckles destroyed the laser and I had a chance to try and get Sonic, but something was glowing around him. Then the six different colors started to circle him. He only had six chaos emeralds. I threw mine to where Sonic was, and then Sonic turned into his super form. He started to chase the Dr., who was flying away in his pod. The rest of us followed. Sonic to the Dr. and the was flying away in his pod as fast as he could, how pathetic.

Then we reached a room where we saw the master emerald glowing wildly. Then, with a triumphant laugh, the Dr. shouted "See you later, Sonic!" He pushed a button on his pod and the master emerald glowed even brighter, and the next thing I saw was more light. Then I started to fall down, down, down.

Chapter 3: Ponyville

I woke up feeling sore. It was a little past dawn. I found myself in the middle of a forest where it doesn't seem like anyone was been here in a while. Then I remembered the light that a saw. I got up to find some civilization and found a large hill. I ran to the top in less than a second, but all I could see was forest everywhere.

"Where am I, and just what was that light all about?" I questioned myself. I tried my watch to see if I could get any of the GUN to answer some of my questions about this place.

"This is Shadow, come in GUN." I said. No answer. I tried once more. No answer.

"Must have been sent someplace other than Mobius. Maybe Sonic and the others know...Sonic,...that fool, he's got to expect what will happen next. He's got to slow down and think. It's his fault that I'm here, and it's his fault he and the others are here too. I've seen this happen before. I've got to know what world we've just been sent to. I need answers. But, where to find them?" Just then I heard a faint roar in the distance and I smelt something diabolical. Then I saw three...wolves made out of trees? They looked dangerous and they were heading toward me. Luckily I had a chaos emerald with me.

"CHAOS SPEAR!" I shouted and they were all destroyed. Too easy. But then what I saw next was unthinkable. The branches leftover started to form a larger wolf. /SLASH/ The wolf scratched me in the arm while I was in shock. How foolish of me. When things couldn't get worse, I dropped my chaos emerald. I started to fight it with homing attacks, but the scratch took even more effect on me. It must've been a poisonous scratch because I could feel it in my entire arm. I tried to forget the pain and fought back with all my strength. A few kicks, pain went to the chest. Some punches, pain went to my leg. /SLASH/ One more to the other arm. I was starting to feel like I was going to faint. /ROAR/ I panted deeply. Then I heard a faint howl, the pain went to my head. The wolf ran off toward the sound, I knelt from the pain. The last thing I saw was what looked like a young zebra with rings. I faint from the pain.

I woke up to find myself in a room. It was decorated with what looked like Mayan artifacts. I found myself laying on a bed with bandages on both my arms. I looked over too where I saw the same young zebra that I saw earlier and she was chanting something into the cauldron in front of her. I sat up an I felt a rush of pain threw my arms and my head. The zebra looked at me and said "Ah, you finally wake, from your break." I laid back down because of the pain.

"Take this drink and you'll heal in a wink." She said and she handed me a cup full of what looked like green soup. I drank it and I felt a lot better.

"Um...Thanks...for everything." I said assuming that she saved me from that wolf. She just smiled and walked back to her cauldron. I got up from the bed, took the bandages off, and said

"Excuse me, but who are you and where am I? What was that thing that attacked me? Is there a town near by? Is there-" She cut me off

"I must ask you the same. What is your name? You don't look like anypony I know, in fact you don't look like anything I've seen before." she said. I thought for a minute.

"Let's take turns answering each other's questions. I'll start. Who are you and where am I?" I asked.

"If you must know. I'm Zacora, and you are in Equestria, where ponies like me roam free. There are different kinds of ponies you see. Pegasi fly high in the sky, Unicorns use magic with their horns, and Earth ponies are normal like me. In the land of Equestria two princesses lead us right. One to rule the day and the other to rule the night. Whenever danger comes, the sisters will be, there to defend us with the elements of harmony. They are Magic, Laughter, Honesty, Generosity, Kindness, and Loyalty. These six elements, when they unite, put a stop to any grave fight. Now you know, my story is done. Now I ask you, who are you and where are you from?" I let it all sink in for a minute and I wondered how the others are handling this sudden change. Then I answered her question.

"I'm Shadow the Hedgehog and no, I'm not a pony. Actually I'm not from here at all. I come from a place called Mobius which is like your world except everyone is a person and not a pony, and we say everybody instead of everypony. In my world we have mystical gems called chaos emeralds which are like the elements of harmony in your world. Sonic and I use these emeralds to defeat our archenemy named Dr. Robotnick, Sonic calls him Eggman to tease him. Sonic is my...friendly rival. Anyway we were blasted with chaotic energy which is where the emeralds combine to create an awesome power that can only be controlled by most of the hedgehogs in my world. That's the kind of world I'm from. Now what was that thing that attacked me and where can I find the nearest town." I gave her a minute to give her a chance to let it all sink in.

Then she replied, "In a forest like this that is everfree, there are dangerous creatures you see. A timberwolf was the creature that attacked you, now I'll tell you what to do. Travel north out of the forest if you will, and you'll find a place called Ponyville. But before you leave I must ask you one more, I there anything I need to prepare for?" That was a good question.

"If you can live in a dangerous forest on your own, then you don't need to worry. Just be aware that our worlds will be combining so that means you'll see some changes in Equestria." And with that said I was on my way to Ponyville.

Chapter 4: The Dream

I was right about how things would change now that Equestria and Mobius have collided. When I got to Ponyville, things were out of control. There were eggpawns everywhere. There must've been at least 50 of them. Ponies were running everywhere and they were all frightened about the eggpawns. Then something caught my eye. It was Rouge the Bat standing between two houses in the shadows.

"Finally, someone to talk to." I said and in the blink of an eye, I was standing next to her.

"Well, look who finally decided to show up." She said. "I was wondering where you were, do you know anything about what's going on?" she questioned. I knew almost exactly knew what was happening thanks to the Dr. and Zecora. I told her the story about how we got here and I told her what this place is. She wasn't too surprised about this sudden change. She'd also seen this happen before too.

"Do you think we should help these ponies by destroying the eggpawns?" she questioned.

"No, Sonic will come." I answered. We waited for a little while then, finally, Sonic came and took care of the eggpawns. "Besides," I said to her, "I think it's better if we weren't seen. The ponies might become too frightened and they might want to kill us, and we don't want that to happen."

"So then why is Sonic out there taking care of the job?" she questioned.

"Sonic has a way to be friends with strangers, let them get used to the fact that there are creatures like us. He'll tell everyone what's happening and when he does then we can come out of hiding." I pointed out. We saw Sonic finish the job and a rainbow Pegasus standing in awe.

"That was awesome!" we heard her shout.

"Eh, it was nothing." said Sonic.

"Nothing, you just single handedly took out like seventy eggpawns!" said the Pegasus.

"I'd have to agree with Rainbow Dash. That was very impressive." We heard another pony say. She was a purple unicorn with a dark colored mane and tail and a pink stripe that completed it.

"Hey Twilight." said Rainbow Dash.

"Good morning Rainbow, who's your friend?" said Twilight.

Sonic replied triumphantly, "I'm Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog." Why does he always introduce himself like that?

"Pleased to meet you Sonic, I'm Twilight Sparkle. Where are you from?" she questioned.

"That's kind of a long story." Sonic replied.

"Gather the others Twilight, I want them to hear." Rainbow Dash demanded, and with that they took off.

"What does she mean when she said 'the others'?" Rouge asked me.

"Maybe she wants her friends to listen too. I'm also guessing that this is a start of another adventure." I replied.

Then Rouge looked at me strangely.

"What?" I asked.

"Well, your the leader now. What do you want to do? Should we find out more about this place? Should we start looking for the chaos emeralds? Should we look for Dr. Eggman?" she questioned.

"I think we should start looking for the chaos emeralds first." I answered.

"I've got one right here to get us started." Rouge said. She gave it to me and as she did, it started to glow. I looked into it to see if I could tell where the nearest emerald was. Finally, it pointed toward and apple orchard.

"It's there." I said and we were off to find the emerald.

When we got to the orchard we saw that the emerald led us to a small tree house in the middle of the orchard. We heard voices coming from inside. We looked through one of the windows to see if there was anyone in here. There were three fillies talking about what they found today. They've got two chaos emeralds!

"What 'r we going to do with 'em?" The yellow Earth pony asked.

"I think we should give them to my sister. You know how much Rarity loves gems." the white unicorn answered.

"Or, we could sell them at a high price." exclaimed the orange pegasus. Then the emeralds started to glow again.

"What's going on?" said the unicorn.

"We need to get in there." Rouge said to me, and with that she was already knocking at the front door. That fool, what did I just tell her! We can't be seen, but it was too late, the fillies had already opened the door.

"Good afternoon, my name is Rouge the Bat and I'm here to pick up those emeralds you have." she said. What in the world is she thinking?!

"Wait, you're who?" said the pegasus. Rouge told them about our world and what we must do. I was introduced to them, be it idiotic as it seemed.

"I'm Applebloom!" said the Earth pony.

"I'm Scootaloo!" said the pegasus.

"And I'm Sweetiebell!" said the unicorn.

"And we are The Cutie Mark Crusaders!" they all cheered.

"What's a cutie mark?" Rouge asked.

"A cutie mark is something you get when you discover what makes you special." explained Sweetiebell.

"We don't have 'em yet, but we're going to continue to try 'til we get 'em." said Applebloom.

"Not to change the subject, but may we have those emeralds now?" I asked. This was a waste of my time.

"Wait, can we go with you to find the other emeralds?" Scootaloo asked.

"This task can get really dangerous, I think Rouge and I should take it from here." I said.

"Oh, that's fine...I guess." said Sweetiebell. Then she started to taunt me with a cute face. That fool, I can't be convinced that easily. Then the others started to do it. Rouge looked at me and I knew she was convinced.

"I said no!" I exclaimed, and with said, that I was gone. I ran to the other side of the orchard where all I could see was a beautiful land under the nighttime sky. What am I going to do? I've already got Rouge to take care of, I'm in a world that I don't belong in, and now I don't even know what to do. I decided to rest for a little bit and try to set my mind on something else. I fell asleep after awhile.

Chapter 5: The Journey Begins

Chapter 4: The Dream

I was standing in the middle of a forest again. There was nothing else I could see. No ponies, no orchard, no town, no nothing. Just forest. Then I heard a voice in the distance.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Shadow the Hedgehog."

"Who are you, and how do you know my name?" I yelled. Out of the shadows came an Alicorn with a blue shade that looked like the night. Her mane and tail were both flowing with what looked like stars.

"I am princess Luna, ruler of the night. My sister has told me that you are a friend of Sonic the Hedgehog." she said.

"More like a friendly rival." I said as I bent on one knee bowing my head. I crossed my arms across both my back and my chest. I was before royalty so this is customary.

"Rise, and walk with me." she said. I followed her.

"How does your sister know Sonic?" I questioned. We cam to a portal that lead us back to Ponyville. There we could see Sonic and six other ponies.

"This is how princess Celestia knows Sonic and therefor knowing you too. Watch and listen." she explained. We were in the past. A knock came from the door.

"I'll get it!" said a young purple dragon. When the door opened there stood a tan Earth pony with a tie, and a larger Alicorn with a more colorful flowing mane. I assumed that must be princess Celestia. The others bowed before her, including Sonic.

"Good evening Princess Celestia and mayor Mayor, how can we help you? asked Twilight.

"Good evening my prized pupil, we were told that the hero that saved Ponyville was here." Her eyes scanned the room. "And that would be him, I'd take it." It looked like she was pointing at me when really she was pointing at Sonic.

"Yes." everyone said.

"What is your name?" asked Celestia.

"I'm Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog!" He responded. That introduction just doesn't suit me. Then they went on about saving Ponyville. Then Sonic told them where he was from and what he must do. He told them about his friends, including me. He told them how he doesn't need a place to stay. After they said good bye. Luna and I followed the mayor and Celestia.

"Mayor, hand me a note and quill please." said Celestia and the mayor handed her what she asked for. Then she read as she wrote. "My Dearest Sister Princess Luna, I have a new assignment for you. You must help Sonic's friend, Shadow, on his journey. He may need guidance to what he is about to discover. I will explain everything once I reach you in person. Princess Celestia." And with that the letter vanished. What did she mean by what I will discover?

"It's time to return." Luna said. A moment later, we were back in the forest. I had many questions to ask her, but she started first. "On your journey, you shall see good and evil." Another portal appeared showing the future.

"You will find that evil will try to get the best of you. Your friends will be your weakness. Keep them close to you and keep them safe. You must have faith on your journey, for once your enemies rise up against you, have faith that good will come." The portal showed new enemies I've never seen before. It also showed Rouge and the Crusaders with me and I try to protect them. The last thing I saw was me being beaten but evil being destroyed. Then the portal closed. "You must do exactly this to complete your journey." Luna explained. The forest started to fade away. Luna started to fly away. "Have faith, Shadow." was the last thing I heard from Luna.

"WAIT!" I exclaimed. I was back in the orchard. I was sweating and breathing deeply. After a few seconds I realized it was a dream. I looked at the moon and I saw Luna's face, a very faint face. It was a dream but it was real. I knew what must be done.

Chapter 6: I Need to Know

The next day, I was ready for the journey I would take. I told Rouge to tell the crusaders that they can come. After we all got ready to go, my chaos emerald led us to a place out of town. We left the two other emeralds behind for safe keeping, but also for Sonic to find. We got on the Pony Express to a place called Canterlot which is the capital of Equestria. On our way there we saw changes in the scenery. There were now loops like the ones back home and many other features that were from home...

Home...I didn't consider anything to be my home. I've always called Mobius the place I lived. I've never had a real home. Except the Ark. The only place where I felt like I was home was on the Space Colony Ark...with Maria. Maria...my only true friend...gone...to save me...to save everyone...she had to, she had no choice...she was always there for me, and I was always there for her. Until that day, the day they came...they came because they were worried and confused, they tried to kill me. Then Maria helped me escape...but I wanted to protect her...is this why I must protect these people, these ponies, these worlds? Is this why Luna told me to make friends? Is this why I was sent here? These questions might never be answered.

Anyway, we got off the train to find ponies everywhere. I used chaos control to get us away from everyone. The chaos emerald led us to a place where there were statues everywhere. The crusaders said this was the World Famous Canterlot Sculpture Garden. Rouge spotted the emerald near a statue that looked like a creature made up of different creatures. On the bottom it read "Discord, Spirit of all thing chaos. This Dragonaquis was defeated by the elements of harmony because of his chaotic crimes." We were lucky not to bring the other two emeralds along. Together they could've released him.

"I'll hold it for a while." Scootaloo said.

"No, I'll hold it." said Applebloom.

"I called it actually." exclaimed Sweetiebell. They were fighting over the chaos emerald. They continued to fight, and the more they fought the more cracks I could see in the Discord Statue.

"Girls, STOP!" I shouted but it was too late. The Dragonaquis gradually emulated from its stone form. By the time it was released there stood Discord, laughing triumphantly.

"Ah, free once again, and I thank you crusaders for setting me free." said Discord as he stretched. He snapped his fingers a few times and as he did some unexpected features started to form. The clouds turned pink and started to pour chocolate rain on us. "And who might you be?" He pointed at me and Rouge.

"I'm Shadow the Hedgehog, and what have you done to the weather?" I asked.

"Oh, did I do that? Well, I must say that is it a fine work of art don't you think?" he joked. I gave a face saying that this wasn't funny. "Well, somepony doesn't have a sense of humor."

"I'm not a pony, I'm a hedgehog." I said irritated.

"You didn't have to say it twice. I know who and what you are, but what I don't know is what you're doing here." Discord questioned.

"We were sent here by a man named Dr. Robotnick who used chaos energy to teleport us here." Rouge explained.

"Chaotic energy hmm, and I guess that's what these are for." Discord pointed at my chaos emerald. I jerked it away from him. "I'll tell you what. I'm willing to strike a deal with you. I want your chaos emerald, and you can have anything you like." He stared into my eyes. The last thing I saw was multi-colored circles that shrunk down to his pupils. I started to drift into a trance. Then something knocked me over and I snapped back to reality. The Crusaders were standing where I once was.

"You'll never get his emerald!" shouted Applebloom.

"Oh, and what makes you say that?" Discord grabbed the emerald we found.

"Now, If you'll excuse me. I have some 'Chaos' to reek." And with a snap of his fingers he was gone.

"Shadow, are you alright?" Rouge asked.

I got up and said "I'm fine."

"What happened?"

"Discord tried to trick me, that's what." I explained.

"We've got to go after him." Scootaloo exclaimed.

"No, Sonic can take care of it." I said hoping I was right. "Besides, we've got to go find the Dr."

"Why?" Rouge asked.

"There's no telling what he might do next, and we need more information to get through this journey. I may not like it, but I've got to keep you close and safe. The Dr. might not be the best solution, but what other choice do we have? I know Sonic and his friends are also looking for the emeralds, and we already have information about Equestria, and I can't take any of you home now that there's danger everywhere. Finding the Dr. is the only solution right now." I explained. They all agreed. We headed back to the Pony Express carefully, and it also stopped raining. Sonic must've beaten Discord already. I stared into my chaos emerald to see if I could find where the Dr. was hiding. It pointed toward a desert in the distance. Why would the Dr. go there? It was nearly nightfall and everyone was getting tired. I figured I should sleep too. I needed Luna's help.

Chapter 7: Friends Never Say Goodbye

Chapter 6: I Need to Know

"Princess Luna?" I called. My voice echoed. I was in a strange world filled with nothing but night and stars. I could see Luna emulate out of no where. She walked towards me.

"What is it Shadow?" she answered. I bowed down like I did before.

"I need to know what to do. I don't believe that heading to the Dr. is the right decision. What do you think I should do?" I asked. "Rise and walk with me." Luna answered.

As we walked, screens of past images could be seen. They were all from my past, including being on the Ark.

"Shadow, you are a strong, fast, humble, dependable, and trustworthy hedgehog. All you need is to have faith in others and in yourself. Your past might not have been good, but that doesn't mean that you can't be good. I also have a tragic past." There was a picture of her turning into a monster called Nightmare Moon. "I also needed to have faith in myself and others. You must choose what is right and have faith. Believe that good will rise again, and you shall succeed. Take your friends for example. When you were angry at the people in your world, your friends believed that there was still good in you." There was a screen that showed most of what happened after I was released by the Dr. "Now you must do the same." The universe started to fade again and I woke from it.

It was only midnight and everyone was asleep. I know now that I needed to believe that there is good in the world and that it will rise up to conquer evil. We weren't even near our destination so I decided to get a head start. I jumped out of the cart and started to run to the desert. Luna's full moon was my light tonight. After only a few seconds I was already way ahead of the express. In no time at all I reached the desert only to find nothing but sand. I looked at my chaos emerald to find the Dr. It eventually led me to a base that had bug like ponies surrounding it. Dodging them quickly and quietly, I then made my way inside the base. In no time I found where he was. As I ran towards the light in his room I heard more than just his voice. I slowed down and had my back against the wall behind the door.

"I'll make it simple for you." I heard the Dr.'s voice say. "You help me find the emeralds and the elements of harmony, and I will make sure you have all the energy you need."

"And you'll allow me to rule Equestria and Mobius with you!" spoke a calm yet incredibly cold tone of voice. I peered over to see the Dr. and a tall, green, vaguely Alicorn shaped creature full of holes.

"Of course Queen Chrysalis, And I know just the food supply for you to feed on." the Dr. laughed and so did Chrysalis. I knew they were talking about Sonic and his pony friends. I got out of the base, ran back to the express, and started to come up with a plan.

Chapter 8: Element of Faith

"And we will never stop the journey, not until we have our cutie marks!" Sweetiebell woke me up. I must've fallen asleep while I was working on the watches for the crusaders. "Come on Shadow, we're here."

I immediately got up and stepped outside. I showed them the way to the base and by the time we got there the CMC were exhausted from running.

"Take these." I gave the watches to them. "They're like walkie-talkies in your world. If you run into any danger call for help." I said.

"Don't worry Shadow, we'll be fine." exclaimed Scootaloo. I believed in them, but still you can't be too careful. We split up and went into the base. I took the route I went last night. Where are all the bug-like ponies I saw last night? It didn't matter, I needed to find the Dr. before he does something awful. I looked everywhere but still nothing. I looked at my chaos emerald to see if I could find him. Before I could find where he was, a giant robot appeared in front of me.

"CHAOS CONTROL!" I appeared behind it and punched with all my might. It dented but the robot was still in motion. "CHAOS," energy was building up inside of me. Finally I let it all out and shouted "BLAST!" That did the trick. I called to the others to see if they were okay.

"Shadow to everyone, status report." No answer. "Shadow to everyone, are you alright?" No answer.

"You can't call them while I have them." said a familiar voice. I turned around to see the Dr. with two glass pods. One contained Rouge and the other contained the CMC.

"NO!" I yelled, as the Dr. laughed triumphantly. "Now, hand over your chaos emerald and there won't be any trouble." said the Dr. My rage was growing inside of me. I hate it when I fail.

Then, Luna's words echoed in my head. "When evil gets the best of you, good will rise against it. If you just believe and have faith in others and yourself." I got an idea to get the others out of the base.

"Here's an idea, how about you let them go free, and you can have me and the chaos emerald." I bargained.

"No Shadow!" I could here the others say.

"Hmm, fair enough. After all, they are of no use to me." He opened the pods and I walked up to one of them. Before I stepped in, I gave my emerald to the Dr. and turned to Rouge. "Get the others out of here and get to a safe place."

"We're not leaving without you Shadow."

"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. Now go, that's an order." and I stepped into the pod. It closed behind me I could see Rouge taking the CMC out of the base. Then the Dr. brought in three more pods. They had Tails, Knuckles, and Amy trapped inside. Then we flew back to Canterlot. I decided to rest since that was the only thing I could do. I believed that Sonic and his friends will fix this. I had faith in the good that will come. Most importantly, I knew that Rouge and the CMC were safe. I needed the rest.

"JUST THE EMERALDS!" I heard Sonic scream. That woke me from my nap.

"Fine, the elements are drained anyways. Just put the emeralds in the slots on Chrysalis's pod." the Dr. ordered. Now instead of four pods, there were five since the last time. I saw Sonic place the emeralds in each slot that was on Chrysalis's pod. More power surged into her as he put them in.

"Okay, I held my end of the bargain, now you do yours." Sonic said.

"Yeah, not going to happen." the Dr. replied. I sort of knew that was coming.

"WHAT?" the others said. There were six other ponies with Sonic and they were the same ones I saw when I went back in time.

"Oh, come now. Did you really expect me to keep my word? Now, watch as Chrysalis gets enough power to help Eggman Land become a reality!" He laughed. I can't believe he is still trying to accomplish that task. Then again, what are we here for? "I HAD IT WITH YOU MISTER!" Screamed the yellow pegasus. She looked like how I was when I got mad at the GUN...good times. She flew up to the Dr.

"You should be ashamed of yourself!" She gave him a stare that paralyzed him. "First you hurt Sonic and his friends, and then you make us go find the emeralds for you, and now this!" she went on.

I saw Sonic and Rainbow Dash whisper something to each other but I couldn't make it out. Then he took back the emeralds from Chrysalis's pod.

"I-it's n-no use. The pod a-already has all the power it n-needs." the Dr. stuttered.

"Listen when I'm talking to you!" The pegasus scolded. Then Rainbow Dash flew up to my pod and we used all our might to break the glass. Everyone else and I jumped out of the pod and we all stood together against the two enemies.

"Well, looks like you saved your precious friends, but now that I've absorbed all that power, nothing can stop me!" Chrysalis's voice rang out. The yellow pegasus blushed and flew back to join us. "As for our partnership, Doctor." Chrysalis walked towards the Dr. "Consider it void." and she sent him flying into the sky.

"Why does this always happen?!" He yelled as he rocketed away.

"Now, witness the true ruler of the world!" Chrysalis laughed.

"It can't end like this!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

"It won't! We have the emeralds, we can still win! Let's first find a safe place for the others first though." Sonic said. At least Tails, Knuckles, and Amy needed to get to safety. We went to an ally far from Chrysalis.

"Sonic, you fool. Your actions have damned us all." I said. I was frustrated by the way it was his fault we were here.

"I'm going to fix this." He answered back.

"And I'm helping!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

"The rest of us will look after your friends." Twilight offered.

"Thanks" Sonic said, then he and Rainbow Dash closed their eyes and the emeralds appeared around them. As they did this, the elements of harmony began to glow. They started to float off of the ponies and, wait, did Sonic have an element too? They went into the chaos emeralds. After a bright flash the elements were gone and the emeralds looked bigger.

"The super emeralds!" Sonic was elated.

"What?" everyone else questioned, it wasn't a surprise to me that the super emeralds were here.

"They're like the chaos emeralds but even more powerful! Sonic explained. "So if you thought super forms were powerful, get ready for..." More power surged into both Sonic and Rainbow Dash. Once they sprang up they shouted simultaneously

"HYPER SONIC/RAINBOW!" In front of us floated two figures. Sonic looked like he was in super form only he was glowing with rainbow colors. Rainbow Dash was the same, but with a flowing mane and tail. They took off to fight Chrysalis.

"Come on, we've got to help them!" Tails exclaimed. When it seemed that everyone agreed, especially Amy, I stopped them. "No, this is Sonic and Rainbow Dash's battle. All we can do is believe that they will win in the end." Suddenly something appeared on my wrist. It was a golden bracelet with a black gem in the shape of an open claw.

"That must be the eighth element of harmony, Faith." Twilight explained. "One of the lost elements of harmony. There's just one more element, Perseverance. Sonic has the first element, which is Tenacity. I've read somewhere that these elements only appear when another world collides with ours." That explains another reason why Luna wanted me to believe.

"Who's Perseverance?" I asked.

"I don't know." She said doubtfully. I think I might know, three elements, three hedgehogs, Silver must be the last one. He never gives up even when he's failed. We saw Rainbow Dash come back with Sonic on her back.

"Oh my gosh!" Tails cried as she put the limp hedgehog down. Everyone, even me, got a grim feeling. Tails went to Sonic's side and grabbed his arm. Putting two fingers to the base of his hand, he sat there shocked. A moment passed and he sighed in relief. "I got a pulse! He's alive! Barely, but alive!" he announced.

"What 'appened to 'im?" the orange pony asked.

"Chrysalis, that's what happened!" Rainbow was full of rage.

"What do we do?" whispered the yellow pegasus.

"I'm going to teach her a lesson." Rainbow blasted off. After that, I heard Sonic say something.

"Sh-Shadow." I knelt down next to him. "Help me get to Rainbow Dash, she needs me." He managed.

"No, your too beaten to help her." I said. Then he said something I'll never forget.

"What would Rainbow Dash do if she was in my place...what would you do?" I looked away. "What would Maria do?" That got me convinced. I picked him up, took him back to Canterlot, and let him do what he did. "You can do it Dash! CHAOS SPEAR! Sonic shot at the Queen and fainted. Impressive, he can do chaos spear and he's able to help others even when he's too weak. He truly does represent the element of Tenacity. Next, I saw Rainbow Dash face against Chrysalis but with something I've never seen before.

"CHAOS RAIN-BOOM!" she shouted, and everywhere she flew stood a destructive rainbow ribbon. I couldn't see what happened next but I knew Chrysalis was defeated. Then Rainbow lost all her energy and she started to fall. A lavender glow caught her from falling. She was laid next to Sonic who was also passed out on the floor. I put Rainbow Dash on my back and I carried Sonic back to where the others were.

Prologue

Chapter 9: Friends

By the time we got back to Ponyville, I had been introduced to the ponies. Their names were Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity. They've told me more about Equestria and its wonders. Twilight also mentioned a reference guide that has all of Equestria's secrets in its history. We took Sonic and Rainbow Dash to the Ponyville hospital where they've slept for three days. Tails, Knuckles, and Amy settled in Ponyville, except for Knuckles, he had to take care of the master emerald. Who knows what the Dr. is doing. As for me, I found the GUN and Rouge, so I went back to work. This journey has changed my perspective on life. I now know how faith can play a big part in people's lives. And I keep asking the same question occasionally. Is it ever going to be the same as it used to be? Are Mobius and Equestria ever going to be split? What adventures are there yet to conquer? I guess as long as I believe that good will rise over evil, I can conquer anything.

Chapter 1: World's Collide

Prologue

"Once upon a time, in the land of Equestria, there were two regal sisters who ruled the land in harmony and peace. Their faithful subjects looked up to the two sisters as their princesses and rulers of all Equestria. Everything was at peace and harmony could be found throughout all the land. Then, one day, the unexpected happened. Creatures from another world, both good and evil, began to collide with Equestria, and chaos rained everywhere. The two sisters tried to defeat the chaos using the elements of harmony, but to no avail. Then, with all their power and strength, the two sisters created three new elements to help the elements of harmony and the two sisters defeat this terrible crisis. These three elements, Tenacity, Faith, and Perseverance, were long lost after chaos was defeated. With the remaining six elements, the two sisters ruled the land in peace once again. They hoped that no other world would threaten Equestria again." Twilight finished reading the chapter. She had gotten a letter from Princess Celestia assigning her to study the chapter for the worst that is yet to come.

"This doesn't make any sense. Why would Princess Celestia send me this chapter now? Does she know what will happen? Does she know that our world will collide with Equestria? Does she know that everypony is in danger even as we speak?" Twilight questioned. It was getting late, so Twilight thought that maybe she will worry about all of this tomorrow.
