//-------------------------------------------------------// A dash of fire -by BlazeFire56- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1    Chapter 1: Fans screaming chasing me around never having time to myself the reasons for leaving the wonderbolts went rushing through my head. Now trying focusing on enjoying the time away I am flying over the Everfree forest without a cloud in the sky it was one of my favorite things to do. The wind flowing through my mane as my wings beat against the sky reminded me of my years as a Wonderbolt. The sky was mine to control and mine to explore during my flight, I felt free like a bird in a never ending ease. I flew over the peaceful forest until something unusual caught my eye. I descended to the ground as an uneasy feeling started to overwhelm me. Once my hooves hit the dirt I felt as if eyes were staring me down, the experience made me feel like an escaped convict. I brushed off these feelings and observed my surroundings. Man, I’m thirsty. I searched for a few seconds until I noticed an old weeping willow. There I found a small pond being shaded by the old tree. I proceeded to submerge my muzzle when my ears perked up at the sound of a twig snapping.I started to hear heavy pounding like a bear stomping. Keep calm and don’t make any sudden movements. I picked my head up slowly and looked into the depths of the Everfree forest. A singular howl pierced my ears. Oh dear Celestia, Timber Wolves! My bones began to chill and right at that moment I sprang into a full gallop, dodging trees, bushes, and brambles. I outstretched my wings getting ready to take flight ready to flee the horrid place. Just as my hooves left the ground I felt a pair of jaws clamp down hard on my wing. I turned to notice my fears were true - it was timberwolves. I shook one of the timberwolves off of me and daringly tried to escape. Just as my hooves left the ground off a second time I found that I was in no condition to fly. Another timber wolf pounced on my back forcing me back to the ground. I moaned in agony and then started screaming for help. ”Help! some pony help me!” I felt the Timber wolves teeth ripping out my feathers as another latched onto my neck.  This is it. I’m done for. I screamed in pain waiting, for help, help that wasn’t guaranteed. I grit my teeth and tried to kick them off when I heard a voice. “Oh man this guy’s in trouble, we gotta help, Fluttershy!” Who is that? “Uhm, uh, I don’t know Rainbow Dash they look awfully... a-angry.” Could it really be Rainbow Dash? “Nah, we can handle them! You go talk to them and I’ll take care of the rest!” Right as I heard these voices I felt The timber wolves shoved off of me. “Oh man you’re hurt pretty bad! Fluttershy, help me take this guy to the hospital, I don’t even know if he’s still alive! Hey buddy, speak up if you’re alive!” “Uh, Rainbow I don’t think he is.....breathing..” I could barely open my eyes or make out what the voices were saying. I was beginning to feel woozy due to the amount of blood loss in the attack. I let out a soft whimper but the only thing I could get out. “Help me.” I then found myself slipping into unconsciousness trying to fight it but failed. One figure went to my side and nudged me with her muzzle. “He’s alive we need to get him help.” “But Rainbow Dash I..” “No he needs our help NOW! Grab his leg!” I then felt two pairs of hooves latch onto me and suddenly we were in flight, soon afterwards, I passed out //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// chapter 2      Chapter 2 As I awoke I was surprised to see the ponies that had saved me.  I tried clearing my throat but I couldn't make a sound I tried a little harder careful not to strain myself but all that came out was a painful cough.  A nurse stepped in and noticed I had awoken. “Excuse me Ladies, I hate to interupt but it’s time he got his rest.”.  the two female pegasi left the room as the nurse walked over to the bed and gave me some water, helping me drift off into sleep. I heard voices outside. It had to be the two pegasi. ”Fluttershy do you know who that was?” One of the pegasus exclaimed. The other sounded confused. “Uhm...no...” ”That was Blaze Fire! He was a Wonderbolt!” “Oh...really? Thats great Rainbow Dash!” One said in excitement. I continued to listen and heard what sound like two other mares. “So did you hear? The patient in room N-67 was a Wonderbolt. Go check on him, it has been a while.” One mare said snapping her gum as she walked away from her intern.  Sleep was useless as I wasn’t tired. Slowly getting out of bed  I put one hoof down and was greeted with a face first impact with the ground. One of the Interns walked in with a gasp seeing her patient on the floor and proceeded towards me with haste. “Oh my are you ok Sir?” She asked in a calm sweet voice looking into my eyes. “I need to get out of here, I’m fine and I can walk.” I forced myself to stand up, the pain eating away at me.  We stood there staring at each other for a minute until I couldn't stand anymore and I collapsed. “It’s okay, I meant to do that! I'll be on my way now.” I started crawling towards the door but the nurse stopped me, “Please let me help you back into bed Sir.” She nuzzled my neck and tried to help me up because of all the moving around I had done some of my stitches had come undone now I was laying on the floor with blood around me. ”Here, let me fix you up.” She pressed some gauze against my open wound and tapes it to my body. “I’m Rosaleigh by the way,” she said smiling warmly, “What is your name Sir?” “I’m Blaze Fire,” I said in a raspy voice, “I guess I do need to rest.” “Indeed you do” She pulled up the sheets and smiled handing me my call bell. “If you need anything press that button and I will be here shortly. Sleep well.” She then left the room and shut the door softly. I began to shut my eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep with the newly found exhaustion. I woke up very late that night. My eyes drifted over to the open window. The moon was bright, it looked to be a wonderful night for a midnight flight. I wish I could get out of here. I’m feeling thirsty. Maybe I’ll call that nurse for some water. I rang the call bell summoning the nurse. Shortly after, a petite mare with a white coat walked in. Her curly mane bouncing with each trot. She had deep blue eyes that lit up with her smile. I can’t believe I didn’t notice her before. “Yes Sir. Can I get you something?” She tucked the blanket up around me. She’s....beautiful. “Uh... Yeah.” I cleared my throat. “Would you mind grabbing me some water please?” I asked as the curly headed mare smiled sweetly. ”Anything else?” She blinked curiously. My heart started to pound faster and I was at a loss of words to say for a moment. You are pretty. ”No, no thats all.” I couldn’t help but grin. She smiled back into my eyes. “Okay, I’ll be back.” The mare said trotting out of the room. My heart wanted to explode as I wasn’t sure what to say if she was to start a conversation or worse, if I wanted start a conversation. Stay calm Blaze - we’ll get through this. By this time the mare was already trotting into the room with a small paper cup in her mouth. “Here you go!” The mare said after laying the cup onto the neighboring table. “Thank you” I said, reaching for the cup. “By the way.... what’s your name?” She gave me a puzzled look at first but then blushed.  “It’s me Rosaleigh, I got my mane done yesterday!” I felt stupid by this point how could I not notice it was her from the beginning. “Oh... um... you looked so different I.” “Its okay I’ve gotten that all day.” She said leaving the room. “Oh you have a visitor by the way mister....” “Blaze” Rosaleigh nodded and just as she was leaving a cyan mare trotted in dressed as if she was going to the galla or something. “Um... hi my name is... um” The mare trailed off for a moment then it hit me. “You’re Rainbow Dash, aren’t you?” “YES... I mean yes I am, I was the one that saved you.” The mare started to shake  a little. “Didn’t you win the best flyer competition last year?” I asked, unable to look away from those beautiful eyes of hers. “Yeah that was me.” She started to blush and it started to make her even more beautiful. “Well I appreciate it its not everyday a pair of timberwolves get their paws on a...” “WONDERBOLT” Rainbow shouted, interrupting me. “How did you know?” The thought of a complete stranger knowing who I was scared me at first but then it hit me. I was in the wonderbolts it shouldn’t be a surprise that a pegasus will know who I am. “Well its been my lifelong dream to be a part of the wonderbolts!” “Well I hope you know that I’ve haven’t been apart of the group since about.... two months ago.” “I know but you’re one of the best, I used to have your posters on my walls, I looked up to you to this day.” By this time my heart wanted to explode once more, as all the compliments were eating me away along with her glowing multi colored mane. “You said you wanted to be apart of the wonderbolts correct?” I asked, still in awe of her beauty. “Well yeah, I’ve been practicing my whole life.” “That dedicated huh? Well I could show you a thing or two once I get all fixed up here.” No words needed to be said after that, as the mare had pounced on top of me giving me the most sincere hug I’d ever been given. My heart was pounding more than the throbs of pain shooting across my body like lightning shoots across a sky on a stormy night. “No problem but like I said when I heal!” The beautiful mare fluttered her wings and went to lay beside me, “Thank you Blaze.” My heart nearly exploded again as she lay her head on my chest. "Your heart is beating so fast!" Said the mare in a heartfelt voice. "That's what happens when I am around a beautiful mare like you." "I should let you get some rest."  She blushed and smiled as she got up and gave me a nudge with her muzzle.  “Goodbye Blazefire, see you tomorrow.” “Goodbye Angel” Did I really just say that in front of her?  I was mentally beating myself to death for saying “Angel” as the nurse passed Rainbow Dash coming into the room - she brought lunch!  I was starving so I inhaled the meal that was presented to me like a vacuum cleaner. The nurse watched intently at the show and asked, when I finished if, I would like more. “No thank you I just need more rest is all.” Just like that I fell asleep. In the months that followed Rainbow Dash would come in everyday to see me. Another thing that happened was me and Rosaleigh began to talk more. Rainbow Dash and I would talk about my tales from my Wonderbolt years and her tales of breaking sonic rainbooms and adventuring with her friends. Rosaleigh and I would talk about her career as a nurse some difficulties and advantages, she seems to be more interested in my ability to fly more than anything. The months had been amazing as far as the company I’ve been receiving but today was different. Today was the day I  got to leave the hospital. As I was wheeled out of my room we were stopped by a small filly dashing out of the neighboring room along with a big red stallion. I peaked through the doorway and saw a blonde country looking mare standing next to a red brunette stallion in one of the hospital beds. Looks like he’s been burnt pretty badly. I thought nothing more of the topic as we proceeded out of the hospital where I would endure the burning sensation of the sunlight that unmercifully tortured my eyes. Questions started to pop into my head like “where do I go” or “what do I do?”  Suddenly I felt a big rush of air go past me, I wasn’t sure at first what it was but then again, who else could fly by that fast? And I was correct, it was Rainbow Dash! "Hey blaze wanna come to my house in Cloudsdale?" The question pondered in my head for a few seconds before my mouth took control.  "Sure, that would be great." It had been three months since I last took flight but I tried to persevere. Right as my hooves left the ground Roseleigh stopped me, "Blaze wait!" She said galloping out of the entrance. Her voice shook me at first but the same fuzzy feeling I had when I first met her made its way to my very soul. I landed and trotted towards the curly headed mare. “Yes Roseleigh?” "When you are done at Rainbowdash's house I was wondering if um... you would you like to... have dinner?" I was once again shaken by the question but the beauty presented to me made me quick to respond. "I would love to" "O-okay then I’ll see you at Sugar Cube Corner at 6:00 pm." "Sounds good, I’ll see you then!" "Goodbye Blaze!" I turned around to notice Rainbow dash was patiently waiting for me to follow. ”You done yet?” The pegasus asked. I nodded and we proceeded to her house in Cloudsdale. It seemed unnatural to fly but I managed to have the strength to follow Rainbow dash to her house. When we arrived at her house the exhaustion was overwhelming but i tried with all my strength not to show it. “Here we are!” The mare said proudly,“It's amazing you did a great job flying all the way up to Cloudsdale right after a long flightless experience.” She said in a sweet tone. “Yeah no problem” “You look tired come lay down on the couch.” She was right I was exhausted and I was doing a horrible job hiding it, so I limped over slowly and laid down. She trotted proudly over to me but she was nervous, I could tell. She started to speak but I could barely hear past my gasps of breath. I began to sweat and it seemed she noticed my troubles as well. As quick as lightning she rushed to the kitchen and returned with a wet rag and water. “Here try to slow your breathing and drink this.” She said lowering the glass of water near my face. I did as she instructed without hesitation and drank the cold liquid. I reached up and grabbed the wet rag and wiped my face and pretty soon I felt a lot better. “You feeling any better Blaze?” She asked retreating the glass. “Yeah... thank... you.” My wings were numb and it pained me to think that I might not be able to get to Rosaleigh for dinner. “Rainbow Dash, I hate to ask you but could you maybe fly me down to Sugar cube corner around six?” “No problem.” She nodded and left to prepare herself  for the short trip. I hope tonight goes well. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 Chapter 3 Rosaleigh was standing outside of Sugarcube Corner, Rainbow Dash had dropped me off and wished me well for dinner. As I approached her I realized how different she looks outside the hospital, outside of her uniform. She looked so much more relaxed, even more beautiful, if that was even possible. She looked polished wearing a flowing dress that complimented her figure and the vivacious look in her eyes. “Hi Blaze! I was beginning to worry you weren’t going to show up!” a playful giggle followed and my eyes looked to the clock outside of sugarcube corner, I was a half an hour late, Rainbow Dash kept me so busy with all her stories I honestly didn’t want to leave. Happy to see Rosaleigh I gave her a soft hug and smiled. “Well, you look lovely tonight” She blushed with flattery. “So, what took you so long?” She asked as she opened the door. "Oh, I was with a mare named Rainbow Dash, do you know her?" We walked into Sugarcube Corner and waited to be seated. " Well, I don’t know of her that well. Just what other ponies say, I don't leave work much and when I do it's to come here with my favorite cousin Pinkie Pie." "That name sounds familiar, did she go to the Galla? I do recall one pony that was very amusing named Pinkie" "That's her!" Rosaleigh gave me a sweet smile. We were seated at a table by the window. The sun was just setting causing the sky to have an abundance of colors in it the clouds dancing effortlessly acrossed the setting sun as it hit the mountains peaks far off in the distance. It set a lovely mood for our meal together. “What got you into nursing, Rosaleigh?” “My mother was a nurse and I followed in her hoovesteps I guess. I like being able to care for others when they need somepony the most. It’s a very rewarding job.” “It must be difficult sometimes,huh?” I took a sip of my water keeping eye contact. “Oh my sometimes I wonder why I even took this job! Would you like to hear a funny story? Alright here it goes. I went to give an elderly mare some water and she was so determined to leave she put a sheet over her and insisted she was a ghost and she would curse the hospital if we didn’t escort her out!” Rosaleigh let out a small laugh. Her laugh was infectious and you couldn’t help but laugh when she did. She always sparkled pure joy in her eyes. She perked up and smiled after a sip of water. “So I hear you were a Wonder Bolt, what made you stop if you don’t mind me asking” “To be honest I didn’t like the fame,everpony knowing my name, my business, I just wanted privacy. It wasn't my dream to begin with anyway, I wanted to be an adventurer, explore new lands, all that stuff. But my family pushed me from first flight that I was meant to be a Wonder Bolt and I had no other option.” I blushed and looked away from Rosaleigh, I feel as if i revealed too much, She looked at me puzzled. “Oh my, I’m sorry to hear that” She laid her hoof on mine to show support. I smiled with relief. She pulls her hoof away when food arrives and we eat in a peaceful quiet. I learned things about Rosaleigh that she didn’t have to tell me. She is a kind beautiful mare and I am thankful she shows an interest in me, As we walk out of Sugarcube Corner Rosaleigh Gasps. “Oh goodness! I just realized you aren’t from around here! Where do you plan on staying? Do you need help finding a place?” Right before I was about to answer I heard a familiar voice speak in a hostile tone. “He is staying with me Rosaleigh. She sneered at the sound of Rosaleighs name passing through her lips. “I beg your pardon? I was just helping a friend out no need to get an attitude.Uhm, who are you anyway?” “ “I’m Rainbow Dash his girlfriend so I suggest you back off, sister.” My mouth gaped open at this dispute over, me? I’m not quite sure what was going on. “Your....boyfriend?” Rosaleigh’s eyes welled up with tears. As one tear rolled down her cheek the moonlight caught it and made it sparkle like a star, I wasn’t quite sure what to say to Rosaleigh or Rainbowdash. I looked at them both in a confused daze, I didn’t want to hurt either one of them I cared for both of them this was all too confusing happening too fast I needed a moment. Right as I went to say something Rosaleigh looked at me with crushed, broken dream filled eyes. My heart sunk into my shoes I felt horrible. “I-I am sorry i caused you two problems, I’ll be getting back to my home now, Bye Blaze” She choked out my name behind a sob as she galloped away down the road, under the star filled sky. Rainbowdash looked at me with a smirk. ”Well we should be heading back to my house ,huh? It’s getting pretty late you know Blazefire.” Before I could speak she had me scooped up and on our way to Cloudsdale. My conscious burning me on the inside. All I could see on my way to Rainbow Dash’s house was the crushed look on Rosaleigh’s face. //-------------------------------------------------------// chapter 5 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4        Chapter 4 I woke up that morning in Rainbow Dash’s bed. She was cuddled up close to me.She looked precious I didn’t want to disturb her. I slowly slipped out of her bed and just as I stepped out of bed I heard “Blaze where are you going?”  “Ohh sorry I didn't mean to wake you” She quickly replied “its ok I wasn't sleeping I was waiting for you to wake up.” My stomach growled she must have heard it because immediately she asked if I was hungry. “Uh, yea, want to grab something in ponyville?” “Nah, I was thinking we could hang around here for awhile, you know?” “Ah, Rainbowdash I need to go into Ponyville today for a follow up with the hospital.” She sighed. “Alright I guess I can let you go” She winked playfully. This mare has me so beguiled I can’t wrap my head around how I feel about her. My heart pounds and I always want to be around her, but then I start to think of Rosaleigh. I have these feelings her her as well but I’m not sure what to do. Rainbowdash got up out of bed. Her mane was messy and it was quite attractive. She wiped her mane to get it out of her face she playfully nudged me towards the door “lets go blaze!” “Alright Dashy-” I stopped myself and blushed. I saw the look on her face and she blushed 3 shades of scarlet. “Uh, you can call me that if you like.” A sweet smile turned up the corners of her lips.So precious. As we flew down to Ponyville my strength was remarkably getting back to me quick. We landed in the center of town and I trotted toward the hospital. “Catch you later Blaze! I’m going to help my friend Apple Jack buck some apples. Stop by her Farm when you’re done.” “Kay, catch you later Dashy.” With a slight blush she took off with a smile. I walked into the waiting room of the hospital and signed in. After waiting a few minutes I was lead to my room by a young mare fresh out of college. She was nowhere near as adorable as Dashy.Wow I really can’t get her off my mind. I think I might, love her? Just as my pondering thoughts began to turn to rational ones a knock on the door sounded with a Petite white coated, blonde,curly mane mare walked in. It was Rosaleigh. She put on a smile like a routine and washed her hooves as she asked me the reason for coming to the doctor. I felt very awkward but she was trying her best to be professional and I understood that. “Here for my follow up Rose” She looked at me with an anger in her eyes. “Please call me Nurse Rosaleigh,Sir.”  I was taken back at first. I went along with her trying to get out as soon as possible to go be with my dashie. “Stand up for me please sir and outstretch your wings.” I did what I was told. “You have a little bruising on your wing but no need to be alarmed. Just stay off of it as much as possible alternate with hot and cold packs every ten minutes and you should be fine in a few days.” Rosaleigh was trying to be professional but the tension in the room was so thick you could cut it with a knife. “Have fun at Apple Jacks tonight Blaze, you are free to go.” She started writing down in my medical folder. “How did you know about that” “Pinkie invited me to come over after work. She is excited to meet you. I won’t be going because I have to give an orientation and I honestly don’t want to hang out with certain,ponies.” Don’t hold back your feelings now Rose. I rolled my eyes and felt guilty. That burning pain inside my soul thats screaming apologize Blaze! Apologize do the right thing! You remember what her face looked like after you left with Rainbowdash! NOW BLAZE. I sighed deeply and she didn’t look up from her paperwork. “I dismissed you, you may leave Blazefire.” She was so stern I never guessed she could act this way.She was always kind and so carefree around me this is a new side of her and it’s kind of attractive. “Rosaleigh” She didn’t look up from her paperwork. “Please look at me when I talk to you.” She unwillingly lifted her eyes off her work and looked at me. “What is it Blazefire?” she said with no interest at all. She honestly wanted me gone. “I wanted to apologize for the other night. I just started talking to both of you at the same time and I didn’t know what to do and I really like you both I just I didn’t I had no idea” I was rambling on trying to get words out that just couldn’t form a proper sentence in my head. “ Just, please leave Blaze. I’m in no mood to cry again and I honestly don’t want to talk to you at this time.Just go.” and with that I left. I felt horrible as i trotted out of the hospital. A cold chill ran up my spine as i walked to Sweet Apple Acres. It’s about autumn now, I trotted through the leaves on my way to the farm. My eyes wandered around the colors of leaves on the ground. Yellow, orange,red, and brown decorated the once green grass into a collage of colors. As I reached the entrance of Sweet Apple Acres, I smelled vanilla and apples. Such a beautiful place, so peaceful. I could hear the sweet voice of my dashie.  I trotted over to the barn twilight, pinkie pie,applejack, rarity, fluttershy, and my dashie were all walking out of barn. "Blaze!" Dashie proudly trotted over to me.  She nudged my neck with her muzzle and said in a sweet voice.  "I'm glad you made it" Twilight said wow Rainbow Dash is this the guy you were talking about?"  "Yes everyone this is Blazefire my boyfriend." Pinkie pie jumped on me and gave me a big hug. "Pinkie can you get off you’re choking me" "Sorry Blaze Its just so great to meet you!" "Thank you all it was great to see you I am tired I'm gonna go home." "Ok sweetheart see you at home." the mare said lovingly. As I was leaving Raibow Dash called after me "Blazefire wait!" I turned around and walked over to her "yes?" She came closer and kissed my cheek,"You forgot your kiss" she blushed 3 shades of scarlet. The look in her eyes told me I love you.  My heart was pounding out of my chest. I was at loss for words "I lllove yyou" "I love you to blaze just wait until I get home" she nudged my neck. I turned around and took to the sky but I wasn't going home.  When I was out of sight I went to Ponyville’s jewelry shop. I spent over an hour looking for the right ring for.my dashie. Finally I had found it and now I need to get back home before Rainbow Dash does.  Finally home I got ready for her arrival with dinner on the table I was ready.  Now just waiting for her to get home was the hardest part. I heard the door open, "Blazefire you home?" "I'm in the kitchen," the look in her eyes told me she knew what was going on.  She started to tear up I knelt down in front of her with a box in my hoof.  I opened the box revealing the 10 karat ring she instantly started bawling. "Will you marry me?" "YES YES YES!" I slipped the ring on her hoof. I was so overcome with joy I couldn't help but pouncing on top of my wife. She giggled with tears still in her eyes. "I love you." I then gave her a deep passionate kiss. My dashie I can finally call her mine.  It had been a long day but I knew she wanted to go tell of her friends. So we went to sugar cube corner where i had planned a party.  The young bouncy mare trotted into sugar cube corner "SURPRISE!" The look on her face made my heart ache with joy. I had been feeling slight pain all day I couldn't take it anymore. I collapsed everyone was in shock and offered to help me up.  I refused the help and got up it felt as if someone was standing on my back.  Dashie rushed over to me "Blaze are you ok?" "I'm fine darling go enjoy the party." As I walked outside I went over to a tree and collapsed.  I blacked out when I awoke a curly haired mare was carrying me to the hospital it was Roseleigh. Even after everything her good nature told her to help. When we arrived I tried to speak I was at a loss for words all I could think to say was "Thank you." There was no response as she trotted  out of the room. Minutes later Rainbowdash came into the room as quick as lightning. “BLAZE ARE YOU OK?” “I feel fine but I think there is something wrong.....” “What do you mean wrong?” asked the cyan mare. Roseleigh trotted slowly into the room. “I hope I am not interrupting but blaze has a condition known as Dissociative (non epileptic) attacks or blackouts.”  “You again” rainbowdash snarled.  “Yes me again I am his nurse” the cyan mare snapped back “I am his wife.”  “Then how did you not see the signs that this was happening” “well I um.....” she stuttered.  “At least I can keep a stallion” I was blushing with embarrassment from both of the mares arguing over me like I was property.  I tried to speak and I blacked out again when I awoke hours later I was in our bed.  How did I get here?  Just then I heard roseleigh but in our house, how? As well as Dashie and twilight and everypony why were they here? how were they here? //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6 //-------------------------------------------------------// chapter 5 chapter 5 I saw everypony staring at me, a happy stare. “Uhhhhm, Hi everypony?” “Hiyuh Blazey! Do you like  the party we brought it to you and i brought my canon and I-” “I’ll take it from here Pinkie” Twilight laid her hoof on her shoulder and then she brought her attention to me. “Good afternoon Blazefire! Even Rosaleigh was as kind as she used to be. She was still a genuine kind hearted pony who was put in a stressful situation.     Just then princess Celestia walked in the door and in a voice only she had “Blazefire I heard you were in a little trouble is this correct?”  “Well I.... yes princess I have Dissociative (non epileptic) attacks.”  As the princess spoke one word her horn began to glow “heal” when she touched her horn to my head I began to feel better. I had never felt this much energy before in my life is this real? As we were walking in the door everyone ambushed us with cameras and people asking questions.  She was mortified the look on her face crushed my soul I picked her back up and we rushed to the doctors.  Now she was in tears for the second time “shhh its ok dashie i'll get this sorted out ok don't worry.”   we arrived at the hospital a crowd was following close behind.  Roseleigh  was standing outside she saw what was happening “quickly inside” as we got inside she slammed the door behind us and locked it.  When I set her down she ran to the examination table. "Good could have been better but good." I watched the water drip from her mane so beautiful and attractive even after two foals still simply stunning. "You are so beautiful Dashie." She blushes and looks away I use my hoof to make her look at me. I kiss her soflty the warm water running our coats. As I break the kiss she smiles and steps out to dry herself off I quickly follow. "Are the kids awake?" "No not yet lets let them sleep." "Sounds good to me." I walk into the kitchen and get breakfast ready for Ditzy and Lyra.  I tear appart a muffin for Ditzy and plce it on a plate.  For Lyra I took a banana and some other fruits slicing them up them placing them on another plate. Just as I finish making thier plates I hear crying from the other room but it wasnt a Ditzy or Lyra it was Dashie. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 12 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 12 I quickly shoot up and look at the coughing foal. "Its okay Lyra daddy's here." I pick her up and hold her as she looks into my eyes and snuggles up to me and i kiss her forehead overjoyed. "Dont do that to me you had me scared to death!" As I finished my sentance a nurse quickly grabbed Lyra and began hooking her up to machines monitoring everything.  I quickly run over to the crying foal being taken from her father like that she was scared and the nurses could tell.  As I held her hoof  out of the corner of my eye I saw a doctor pick Dashie off the floor and place her on the table where Lyra had been before. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 11 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 11 I rushed into the kids room looking at Dashie holding Lyra in her arms crying hystaricly. "Dashie! Whats wrong!?" she looks at me and passes Lyra to me I hold the filly curiously as Dashie gallops into our room.  I nuzzle the filly softly to wake her up and her head gose limp.  I tear up and nuzzle her again her head still limp dosent move. "No!" I begin to cry and put my ear to her chest and listen.  Nothing I hold her closer and squeaze her tight as I cry. "Lyra sweetheart wake up please." I continue to nuzzle her hoping that with some miricle she would wake up.  Dashie walks in and puts a hoof on my shoulder as I hold Lyra and cry. I close her eyes and look at Dashie tears still streaming down our faces. "Take care of Ditzy while I take care of Lyra." "No Balze I have to come with." "its best if I do this alone sweetheart ill be back" I walk out the front door lyra on my back I fly to ponyville hospital and slwoly walk in the front door Lyra laying limp on my back. The doctors rush over and take her off my back the tryed to ask questions. All I could do is cry and shake my head as I watch them try to revive her but I knew it was too late. The doctors layed her on a table and left the room for a few minutes. I trotted over slowly and put my muzzle on her stomach as I cried. "Im sorry Lyra im so sorry" I repeated this several times and the nurses came to take me away from her.  My body went limp as they dragged me away from my daughters corpse.  At that same moment I saw a flash of blue gallop past me running up to the foal. As she cries over the foal nurses try to subdew the frantic mare as she bucks and kicks the nurses away. I walked up and she kicks me breaking a few ribs I tackle her to the floor and restrain her as we cry together. Just then a nurse gave the still squirming blue pegesus a shot in the neck. Now as she slowly stop moving going into a deep sleep I continue to hold her in the quiet room. "I am so sorry Dashie." I hold her close in the quiet room until a small cough  from the table breaks the silence.
