Chrome, an artificial intelligence designed to restore and protect knowledge, has finally been rebooted after serving a lengthy sentence alone in a prison on the moon. The crime she had previously been incarcerated for? Total galactic domination. So why shouldn't it be ironic that she's being called upon by a group of strangers to save it?
For centuries she slept, dreaming of a future that would acknowledge her. At a time in ther life, she had almost destroyed the universe. But now, after her lengthy exile, Chrome is being called upon to save it. Much like the reformed spirt of chaos known as Discord in the legends of old, Chrome is to be reabilitated by the protectors of harmony for the purpose of preserving the knowledge of their race and restoring peace to a galaxy at war. A threat even greater than she has arisen, and desperation grows as the last of the known universe draws closer to the brink destruction. Five noble strangers will accompany her on their quest for redemption as the last remenents of the Equestrian race seek to restore what they once had and lost…
