Soul Tears
The story
Load Full StoryI met her walking down the street, drowned in a sea of people I saw a tend vendor. She had a long brownish mane; she wore a long beige skirt and a yellow blouse; her eyes were an emerald green that reflected the burning sunshine perfectly. With a smooth and tender voice she attended her clients. She was happy and cheerful like there was no other way to live.
I never understood when we started to talk or what was the reason behind it, but whatever it was, it was worth it. Simple yet smart, calm yet bold, and happy and just happy. We continued walking together trough an aveneu talking like old friends i dont remmeber how was her voice but it was familiar. We were like open books to each other telling our stories and expiriences with complete trust. Relaxed on a busy and complicated city like it was our living room, I dont remember how the avenue was or the building or anything I was focused in something really important.
We reached a big and old building, big columns adorned the entrance and a huge hall separeted the center of the building with the rest of the rooms. We sat down in the back garden; a place full of life with bushes like small walls rounded the center, trees had the form of colmuns that separeted the roads made of rocks; flowers that formed symbols and a fountain on the right side surrounded by benches and in that special place we kissed in that wierd and lone world.
The sun that shone brightly above us, that gave us a calm place desapeared in a instant when the first bomb fell. Darkness shrouded the sky, on the horizon bullets pierced the view and explosions brought the fire that devoured the land like a ravenous beast. We heard shots behind us from the building we came trough and the only thing I could think of was protect her from the unkown danger in front of me. But it was useless.
A sharp and fast whisper passed near my ear and I froze in fear as I turned my head to see her. On the floor she was with a weak body and crimson blood poured down from the wound on her chest. I held her closely with tears that blurred my sight and with an aching heart. I yelled, but she did not move, she did not answer and she did keep bleeding.
I yelled: "don't leave me....stay with me"
And the alarm sounded
And i woke up
And there was no "we"
She wasn't real
