Chapter one – Settling in

Rainbow dash, her parents and Fluttershy were loading up their SUV with school supplies, bed sheets, pillows and suitcases. “Come on Fluttershy! We’ll be late if you won’t hurry up.” said Rainbow Dash, who was wearing cyan sports jacket, Chuck Taylors of very similar shade and faded skinny jeans and had her wings, of the same colour as her jacket, folded. The wind picked up and blew her Rainbow hair everywhere.

Fluttershy was wearing her yellow, long sleeve shirt that went down below her butt, dark blue skinny jeans and a pair of white shoes. Her yellow wings were open. Fluttershy carried a cage with her rabbit, Angle. She put the cage in the middle of the back seat, climbing in and said: “Are you going to fly like you did in high school?”

“Nah, this year I just want to chill, Fluttershy?”

“Now Rainbow I don't want you slacking off too much, you still need to pass. This is college.”said Dash’s mom, who was wearing purple dress suit.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah, I won’t.” said Rainbow with a smile on her face. That’s right; Rainbow andFluttershy are going to college.

“Excuse me, but how long will it take until we get to your brother’s house, Rainbow?” asked Fluttershy.

Rainbow looked at Flutter shy then to her dad. “You know, that’s a good question. Hey dad, how long ‘till we get to Night’s place?”

“In about four hours.” Rainbow’s dad was wearing a lavender polo, khaki pants and a pair of

loafers.

“Great” said Rainbow Dash as she and Fluttershy put their ear buds in. They’ve stopped a few  times and four hours later they were in Los Pegasus. Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash looked out the window at all of the cassinos, strip clubs and bars. Rainbow's mom looked with a worried expestion.

She turns to the two girls in the back seat looking at all the places where she did not want them to go. She turned to her husband. "Dear?" she wispered. "Do you think Night will keep the girls safe?"

Her husband chuckled at that. "Well his cutie mark is protecting people." He sighed at the memory when Night got his cutie mark. Not because of how he got it but becsue of the cutie mark itself. He wanted Night to be a Wonderbolt, not a soldier. He smiled because Rainbow's dream was to be like her big brother and he wanted to be a Wonderbolt, but when he told her he was joining the Royal Guard she was more determined to be a Wonderbolt and to try and to sway her brother to join.

After twenty minutes they were in front of Night Dash’s house. As they exited the SUV Rainbow’s dad was taking bags and suitcases, while Rainbow and Fluttershy went in front of the door and knocked on it.

A few seconds later a Woman opened the door. She had fire orange hair and was clearly worked out. She was perfectly toned. She looked only a little order than rainbow, wearing yellow V neck shirt and dark blue skinny jeans. “Who the hell are you two?” said the woman in stern voice

“Who am I, who are you? This is my brother's house and I don't need some floozy asking who I a-.” Rainbow Dash paused when she realized who she was taking to. “O my Celestia, you’re Spitfire. Everyone has been saying that you’ll be the next captain of the Wonderbolts.” said the star-struck Rainbow Dash.

“You must be Night Dash’s little sister Rainbow Dash. Now I recognize you from the pictures. I’m glad that you're here. No offence, but Night Dash hasn’t shut up about your coming since he heard.” said Spitfire.

“Sounds like him, we’re really close.” said Rainbow.

Spitfire truned her head to yell in her house. “Yo Night, there's some girl here to see you.” said Spitfire.

“Just tell them ‘No, I will not date them.” said the black, rainbow haired man, who was lying on the couch and wasn’t looking at the door. He was wearing a black t-shirt, a pair of faded jeans and a pair of black chuck Taylors.

“O.K. sorry Rainbow Da-” Spitfire wanted to say, but she was cut off by Night Dash.

He jumped off the couch opening his large black wings, flying to Rainbow dash and scooping her up in a hug, almost crushing her in his strong arms. “Rainbow! It’s been so long, how are you?”

“Night, I can’t breathe!” said Rainbow Dash, gasping for air.

Night dash let her go and said. “Sorry sis, just happy to see you.”

“If you two are done up there I could use some help.” said their dad with almost all of the boxes in his hands.

Night yelled back. “Sorry dad. Hey spitfire can you show Rainbow and Fluttershy the house?” said Night as he flew over to his dad. “Follow me dad there room is this way.” There was a sign of anger in his eyes and voice when speaking to his father.

Rainbow and Night Dash are only 3 years apart. Night is 19 which makes Rainbow 16. Their parents enrolled them to school a two year early so they have more time to spend on their future careers. And Night fluncked two year of high school just to piss his dad off.

Let’s go see and what Rainbow, Spitfire and Fluttershy are doing. “And this is the Kitchen. In most of the time it’s fully stocked, unless your brother gets hungry. Because he can eat it all in a while, so will have to go to the store ear-” DING!!! Spitfire was interrupted by the oven timer going off and then a blond girl with a gray V-neck shirt, grey shorts and also grey wings, flew in. “Muffins are done!” the blond haired girl exclaimed.

“This is Derpy Hooves. And as you can see she makes a lot of Muffins, but they are the best you’ve ever had.” said Spitfire

“AWWW thanks Spitfire. Would you like some, girls?” said Derpy.

“Oh yes please” said Fluttershy.

“I'll have one too.” said Rainbow.

Derpy held a basket of Blueberry, coffee and banana Muffins. Rainbow took a banana, Fluttershy

took a blueberry and Spitfire took a coffee muffin. They took a bite of their muffins and were all stunned with impression.

“This is amazing!” said Rainbow Dash.

“I love them.” said Fluttershy in a very quiet voice.

“I can nothing but agree.” said Spitfire. “UH Derpy... I think your muffins are burning.” continued Spitfire pointing at the white oven.

“Oh gosh!” Derpy said pulling the burnt muffins out of the oven, pouting. “Those were for The Doctor.”

“Who’s The Doctor?” asked Rainbow.

“Just the most amazing man in the world.” said Derpy with love in her voice.

“Last night when I past your room Derpy. You were talking to your diary saying that you want his

kids and name the girl Dinky Doo.” smiled Spitfire.

”W-w-w-whaaat! You heard me? How embarrassing.”

“Let’s go girls! And sorry about that Derpy, I’ll help make a fresh batch for The Doctor.” Spitfire said with a friendly Smile.

“OK. Oh, what are your names?” asked Derpy.

“I’m Rainbow Dash, the best young flier in Equestria!” said the cocky Rainbow Dash, extending her cyan wings.

“I’m Fluttershy.” the shy girl said quietly.

“Her name is Fluttershy and as her name says she’s very shy.” said Rainbow.

“It’s fine. But Spitfire, my date is tomorrow, so we have a lot of time.”

“Got it Derpy! Let’s head upstairs.” said Spitfire, pointing with her hand at the stairs.

“Hey, what's this door?” said Rainbow Dash in curious voice.

“It’s the door to the basement and you’re not allowed to go down there.” said Spitfire in a very stern voice.

“Alright," Rainbow held her hands up in defence. "Up the stairs we go.” they went upstairs. The hallway was very long and blan with six rooms.

“Your rooms are across from each other’s. There, the two doors at the end of the hall.”

The two girls went to their rooms. They were absolutely same with one full size bed, a long dresser, a tall one and a desk all with standard wood color. The wall was a plain white. “Rainbow, do you like the house?” said Night startling her.

Rainbow jumped and hit her brother in the shoulder.“Yeah, but the walls could be different.”

“We can paint them once you’ll settle in, ok?” said Night dash with a smile. “And there's one last thing... since you're only 16 I’ll have legal custody over you until you’ll be 18.” said Night.

“Great! Now my brother is my father.” said Rainbow jokingly.

They laughed for a minute, but then Night Dash said in a serious voice: “Now Rainbow there are some people that I want you to stay away from. One girl imperticuler.”

“Who?” said the curious girl.

“Just be careful.” He said as he playfully pushed her.

Spitfire came in. “I hate to break up the brother-sister moment, but It’s your turn to go to the Grocery store tomorrow.”

“I can’t. I have to take Rainbow and Fluttershy and show them the city tomorrow.”

“I can take them.” said Spitfire.

“Huh, fine. Who am I going with?” said the unenthusiastic Night Dash.

“You’re going with Twilight as always.” said Spitfire laughing.

“Great, now I’ll have to go the whole day with her lecturing me about my study habbits.”

“Ha, ha, ha. Who’s Twi-” the rainbow haired girl was cut off by her mom saying in an uncomfortable voice.

“Uh, Night sweaty, is all of the people here besides you?”

“No there’s Phantom,” he got up and walked to the door beside Rainbow’s. He knocked, opened them and there was a guy playing video games online. Night dash said “This is Phantom and you won’t get his attention. Just look at this. ‘Phantom, your bed is on fire.” the man with the longish brown hair, blue shirt and blue track pants just nodded. “You got your girlfriend pregnant; the house is on fire... Beer.” He just sits there nodding. “See nothing.” said Night and shut the door.

Night’s smart phone ringed. He took it out of his pocket and got a message from Twilight. ‘Staying at the library late tonight. Won't be home for dinner.’ “Well Twi won't come home tonight.” Night put his phone down and almost dragged his mom down the stairs. “Well, Rainbow and Fluttershy has lot of unpacking to do and you have a long road ahead, so you better be off.” said Night dash directing his parents to the door. “Bye mom, bye dad, have a safe trip back to Cloudsdale.” gently pushing them through the door and slamming it.

“About time! I thought they will never leave.” said Spitfire and kissed Night Dash.

Rainbow was now shocked. “W-what? My brother is dating Spitfire, the future captain of the Wonderbolts?”

“Yes I am. And you’re talking out loud.” Rainbow’s face turned red. She ran to her room in embarrassment.

“I’ll go help her unpack, you coming too Fluttershy?” said Night Dash after a while.

“Oh yes.” They went up the stairs, through the hall to Rainbow’s room.

Night knocked on the door and said. “Rainbow, it’s Night, can I come in?”

“Is Spitfire there too?” said embarrassed Rainbow.

“No, just Fluttershy.”

“Alright, come in.” Fluttershy and Night Dash came in and saw Rainbow on her unmade bed.

“You know that sulking goes better with your pillow?” said Night throwing a pillow at his sister.

“Shut up Knight Night” said Rainbow Dash throwing the pillow back at her brother.

“Really? You're playing that card? You’re lucky that I’ve never found a good nickname for you. Now what goes where?” asked Night.

“You unpack my computer and any of the stuff in the boxes that has ‘desk’ written on them. Fluttershy and I will unpack my clothes. No offence, but I don't want you touching my bras and underwear.”

“I do not have problem with it.” said Night, taking a black tactical pocket knife, starting to cut and

open boxes. He hooked up the computer plugged in a Wi-Fi adapter. “I think I shouldn’t check your internet history.”

“I could say the same for you, bro.” Night chuckles and opens another box. He found a picture of

him and Rainbow when they were kids. He had Rainbow on his shoulders and they were smiling. It was at the Wonderbolts show at Cloudsdale, five years ago.

Night smiled and said. “I can’t believe you still have this picture.” Rainbow looked over at the picture and blushed.

“Yeah, that’s when got into backstage and we met the Wonderbolts.” Dash smiled.

“Yeah and you were star-struck the whole time that you couldn’t talk.” Said Night chuckling.

Fluttershy laughed and said “You guys are lucky. You are so close. I’m an only child.” Fluttershy

added with a sigh. Night and Rainbow looked at each other and then to Fluttershy. They got up and hugged her.

Night dash smiled and said. “Come on Fluttershy, I’m surprised that you don’t consider me a bigbrother after the time we all spent together. I consider you as my little sister.”

Fluttershy looked at the two, started crying and said. “You think of me as a little sister.” She hugged the two and they all had a very touching moment that Phantom broke up.

“Not to break up this... thing, but it’s your turn to cook tonight.”

Rainbow looked shocked. “You really don’t want him to cook! Last time when he cooked for me, I

had a food poisoning.”

“I’m a lot better than that time.” said Night, rubbing the back of his head. “What sounds good to you?” Night asked looking at Rainbow and Fluttershy.

“Pizza sounds good,” said Rainbow.

“Can it be a veggie pizza? I don’t eat meat.” asked Fluttershy with very shy voice.

“I can make two. Anyway, veggie pizza sounds good though.” They went downstairs and nothing really happened until the next morning.
