A small alicorn filly winced as she was thrown out in the street. AGAIN. This had happened so many times it was normal. The orphan stretched on wing, and slightly wiggled the other. Her wavy sky blue mane covered her turquoise eyes. Her cream colored body was bruised. She brushed her mane from her eyes and looked at her wing. It was either sprained or broken; she couldn't tell. She didn't know many spells; only light, levitation, and heat.
The filly had on her favorite things: a lavender cloak, a pink scarf, and green socks. She had three bits for emergency, and a map.
She looked at the train station. The station was barely visible, but she limped to it. At the ticket both she decided to try her luck in the Crystal Empire.
"Sorry. Kid. Five bits to go to the Empire." The ticket master said. He looked at her again, noting her wing's condition, the bruises, and the fact that she was struggling to levetaite the bits. She started to limp away when he stopped her. He was not going to let a little filly walk to her doom. "Come on. I'll give you one ticket for a bit."
Because she was never taught to talk, she only smiled, and traded the bit for a ticket. She got on the train, and after the conductor checked tickets, the train was off to the Crystal Empire.
