The Slender Man

There was an old saying that monsters existed back in the old day and that it was the princess's responsibility to protect us from them. Now I fro one never believed in monsters, I believed in science and within science there was no place for monsters...they just simply didn't exist.

Yet...I was scared...

It was a bright morning, ponies were up and about enjoying their day as they normally would. Twilight lies with her friends in a meadow. They were enjoying their time together wishing that day would never end.

Everyday seemed to feel this way, it seemed to have this sense of happiness. And everypony wore that happiness everyday as if it would slip away if they forgot it was there. Since the defeat of King Sombra everypony has just been at ease as if they never had a care in the world. And each day went on this way. The princess's would raise the sun and moon as they said goodmorning and goodnight  to everypony in Equastria. And as the sun was setting they also said goodnight to this day as well.

As Twilight and her friends parted ways for now they each said goodbye and goodnight. As each entered their home's.And as the excitement in PonyVille slowly faded We find ourselves with one pony who still clings to the "morning ways".

"Today was amazing", Fluttershy said.

As this energetic mare smiled at the remembrance of her day she couldn't help but jump about her home, flapping her wings in a such elegant way. But her excitement was soon cut short when as there was someone who wasn't feeling in the energetic mood as she was in.

"Huh? Oh Angel Im sorry if I woke you I guess I was too excited to notice how much noise I was making", Fluttershy said. Angel simply replied with a huff as he walked back to bed. Fluttershy merely let out a sigh as she came back to the ground.

Soon the night began to pass by and slowly Fluttershy began to drift into slumber.

Fluttershy...Fluttershy...Fluttershy...

"Huh?!...Who's there?", Fluttershy asked.

But there was no response. As she looked around her room she found that her front door was open.

"That's weird I close that door when I came in. Maybe the wind just blew it open", Fluttershy said. As she walked to closed the door she began to hear voices echoing from outside.

Fluttershy...Fluttershy...Fluttershy...

"Who's out there? Please answer me", Fluttershy said.

Still no response.

Wanting to go back to sleep Fluttershy took the voices as just her being tired and closed the door.

FLUTTERSHY...FLUTTERSHY...FLUTTERSHY...

*Gasp* Fluttershy stopped her felling the chill run down her spine. She could feel her skin grow cold as the air around her did also. She could hear the voice echoing in her head, clawing at her mind bearing down on her mind until it snaps. Again she could hear the voice.

FLUTTERSHY...FLUTTERSHY...FLUTTERSHY...

"Who's there please just go away", Fluttershy said. Her legs began to shake as her body soon began to turn heavy. What was this feeling she felt it was nothing she has ever felt before. This feeling crept inside her tearing away at her mind. She could feel that something was coming and hoped that this was all a dream, but she couldn't wake up.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door and Fluttershy fell to the ground.

"Wha-What just happened I don't feel anything anymore", Fluttershy said. The knock on the door came again snapping Fluttershy's attention.

As she got up and walked towards the door she began to feel something was wrong. As she took her steps every fiber in her body screamed "TURN AWAY", but she couldn't. She had no control of her body as she approached the door. Upon reaching her final steps the room around began to turn. Shifting in this blackened room as the only light was coming from the door. *Gulp*-As she reached the door she found that a shadow was emitting from under the doorway.

".....Huh?!", Fluttershy said frightened at what she saw. As she stared at the shadow she could feel the air being stolen from her lungs as she began to tremble in fear. Suddenly the door began to open creaking ever so slowly delivery a bone quivering chill that ran down Fluttershy's spine. As the door opened more she could see monstrous dark tentacles reaching in through the door.

"What is happening I want to run but..but my body won't listen it just won't move!", Fluttershy said staring at the door as it came to a stop.

Again the voice spoke.

Fluttershy...FLUTTERSHY...Fluttershy...FLUTTERSHY....FLUTTERSHY!!!!!

"What do you want from me?!", Fluttershy shouted.

Suddenly the door swung open revealing a most terrifying figure. This creature began to tower over Fluttershy coming ever so closely towards her and then...it whispered into her ear.

You......

Fluttershy froze gazing in the sight of such fear trembling as she was certain this was death. The creature stared at Fluttershy filling her with such dread enough to steal her soul. She stood there unable to move her heart beating so loudly that It echoed through the room. Her breaths grew short as she watched the creature this deformed creature lift it's arm up and place it upon her head.

Then it whispered again.

Fluttershy...I'm coming for...you!!!

*Scream*

"Huh!?", Fluttershy said.

She awoke to find that the horrific things that happened were only a dream. Placing her hooves upon her face she began to cry.

*Sob*

She could still hear the voice echoing in her head still calling her name. She began hitting her head in thoughts of trying to make it stop. But the voice stayed still echoing her name.

"....Just..what was that thing", Fluttershy said. As she tried to recall her dream she was met with the horrific sight of the creature. Suddenly she began to feel sick and ran into her bathroom throwing up into her sink.

"I need to get a hold of myself...*Sob*...It was just a nightmare Fluttershy it was jus...", Fluttershy said to herself. As she looked down into the sink she felt cold at the sight that befell her. She stared at her own blood as it lied in the sink.

"What! How can this be blood I don't that sick I feel just fine", Fluttershy said to herself. She tried to reassure herself that what was in the sink wasn't blood, but the evidence couldn't be denied. She backed away from her sink shaking with each step.

She couldn't bear the thought of herself being seriously ill she had always been healthy never doing anything that would affect that. But then she remember the dream, was that responsible for her being sick could that creature really be. Fluttershy shook her head trying to get the thought out of her head.

"I need to some fresh air that'll clear my head", Fluttershy said.

But first she had to clean the sink. As she walked up to the sink she found that the blood was gone.

"Wait? There was blood right here, right here what's going on where did it go?", Fluttershy said to herself.

Then she suddenly shuddered, her body turned cold as her body was unable to move. She was paralyzed in fear as she stared at her mirror. For what was behind her was the creature. Her became silent as she could only hear the steps the creature took coming ever so closely. She began crying unable to come to terms that this might be the end for her. Her head became fuzzy as she was unable to keep her mind focused. Then, she heard the voice for the last time.

Fluttershy...Fluttershy...Fluttershy...Fluttershy  I've found you.....

The last words to escape from her were screams as the world around her turned black. And like that she was gone leaving behind not even a trace.
