"Food time my little cuties!"

Fluttershy  walked into the cottage and carefully poured angels food in his bowl unlike the rest. Making sure every single peise of bunny food was perfect, she called Angel. Not that surprising,  a little white blur dashed  into the kitchen dodging every obstacle available. The little bunny stoped for a minute.

"Angel? What's wrong? Isn't this your favorite meal? Did I position it wrong? Did I-"

Fluttershy was cut off by Angel digging into his food making sure that no peice was left. His back legs were off the ground, as if doing a sonic rainboom in food.

"Oh yea, I gave it to you 1 minute early." Fluttershy said while looking at the clock.

Fluttershy blused with embarrassment.  Her cheeks were so pink, even Pinkie could say that was the pinkest thing she saw. Fluttershy giggled. Thinking of pinkie saying that would be like thinking that Applejack liked oranges.

Speaking of Applejack, didn't she have a Apple related date tonight? She looked at the clock again. It read 4:12 Well, there's still about three hours before the date. Plenty time to get ready.

Grabbing her saddlebags, she sighed. Big Macintosh wasn't exactly what she expected. He just walked up to her and they started talking, and later, she was asked out. How could she say no? He seemed so cute when he asked, with his sweet green eyes looking at her with that adorable smile of his. With one more glance at the clock, she started trotting toward the door.

"Angel, would you tell the other animals I'm going to Rarity's?

The little white bunny agreed. As soon as fluttershy closed the cottage door, Angel screamed to all the animals, "PARTY!"

"Sweetie, could you be a dear and get some thread? Fluttershy here needs a new dress."

The Carousel Boutique was all damaged and gray. The 'out of business' sign swayed on the door.  Rarity let Sweetie take over the shop for her cutie mark. Rarity was still trying to pay off all the damage due to when the "attention" fireworks" hit the building. Fixing that giant hole in the roof might take a while.

"So Fluttershy, why do you need a new dress?

Rarity cut off Fluttershys thinking process. On purpose. It was pretty easy to tell what Fluttershy was thinking about.

"Well, I want a new dress because I have a..." Fluttershy hesitated. Applejack might hate her for doing this. "A party to go to."

She looked at Rarity expecting the 'you promise not to get the dress dirty' face. But it wasn't there. The annoying worried eyes and puffed up cheeks wasn't there. Instead she had the same look she had ever since the carousel boutique went out of business. Pain and sorrow.

Suddenly, it stated raining. Rarity's sad face disappeared and formed into a scared face. At first Fluttershy was wondering why. Then she found out.

"Fluttershy! You soaking wet!"

Looking up, Fluttershy felt little raindrops in her eyes. The hole.

Rarity took the dress off Fluttershy and headed to the dryer swishing her tail like normal. Back and forth, like a clock. Fluttershy looked at the grandfather clock and rarity's tail to see resemblance. The clock read 6:53.

Fluttershy gasped. The date was in 7 more minutes. Rarity better hurry with her dress. Fluttershy thought not taking her eyes off the clock that seemed to be going faster and faster.

"Fluttershy, is something wrong with my clock?" When hearing no reply, she looked at the clock. It showed 6:56. As if a earthquake was happening, Rarity gave a high pitched scream. fussing around all the sudden, Rarity grabbed fluttershy and dragged her towards the hair salon area.

"I've never been late! You said 6:30, and its almost 7! Now lets stile that mane and dry this dress before too late."

It was already too late. it took 10 minutes to travel to Sweet Apple Acers, let alone everything else. She waited for Rarity to finish. every second felt like a hour.

She failed on her first date, and knew it.
