Guess who. That neat freak shut me away for so long, and her brain is sooo boring with nary a toffee bunny or banana boomerang in sight.
Every single little thought and idea in neat, orderly little boxes , it's enough to drive a pony nuts, if I wasn't already that is.
Tonight though she made a mistake, a big one. She shut herself away again, that's no fun, how can she expect me to stay quiet without even the tiniest little hint of chaos.
So I started whispering to her, oh so quietly, her brain was crying out for fun, it was so very very easy to slip free.
Tonight something is different, something is wrong, I can sense him, daddy is free again.
Daddy discord, if you are not cold stone no more then why is the world like this? Where is all the lovely chaos? I can hear him inside my head calling to me, it's time to go. I'm coming daddy just give me a minute to find where that mean ol stick in the mud hid my hat.
I'm getting closer daddy, I know you are near, the air around me tastes of cotton candy and rainbow jelly. Of course nobody else can taste it, that'd be silly, but I know you're close. The chaos in the air is so yummy, it feels all tingly, but different somehow, guess I'll find out soon I'm getting close.
He's inside, don't worry daddy I'm coming.
The guards are getting in my way, don't they know I need to see my dad, I mean don't they speak nonsense? What part of blip bloop chugga chugga woof ding dong is so hard to understand? Know what? Nuts to this I know I left a hammer somewheres, I'll just reach behind my back and........... much better, the noise their helmets make when I hit em is funny, ring ring, just like a bell.
Now to sneak in, sneaky like a ninja, whoops the door exploding might have spoiled that plan a bit, especially when the explosion exploded too, oh well never mind, he's real close now, just through this door.
“DADDY” I yell pouncing on him (well really I yell whoop whoop kaboom kazing pop but I'm sure daddy understood.)
Daddy looks real happy to see me, guess it's time to play at last, but just as I'm about to have some fun he stops me.
I don't understand, does daddy not like my flying snakes? Or my mermonkeys? They used to be his favourite. He looks at me in the eyes and begins to talk.
“hello my little abomination, I've missed you” Daddy seems so serious all of a sudden, that's no fun at all, I make him a pet footstool but he just smiles and seems a lil sad. “ meow bzzzt rawr?” I ask him . “You see my dear, I've met somebody very special, I want you to meet her too.” With that daddy put me on his back and off we flew .
We finally land , in the middle of a field, on the left is a big forest, you can almost feel the chaos coming from it, and in front of us is a pretty cottage. We walk up to the door and knock.
“uhh hello? “ comes a voice from inside. The door slowly opens and inside I see HER, one of the ones who turned daddy into a statue, I start to get mad but daddy must have seen what I had planned because he stopped me. My own daddy holding me back from teaching one of the big stinky meaniepants who made him into a stone the lesson they deserve. “Fluttershy, this is my daughter Screwball” said dad “screwball this is fluttershy, while we are here you will treat her and allin her home with respect, as boring as that sounds. That means put down the paint cannon”. Confused I put away the toys and follow daddy inside.
The cottage is really pretty inside, all sorts of animals peek out at us watching our every move, then SHE steps forward, trying to seem all friendly as she introduces herself, but no matter what I remember what she did. I will never let her take him away from me, never ever ever, I run out of the door and off into the forest.
Daddy would never turn away from chaos like this, I guess it's up to me to remind him who he is. This forest feels special, it is a thing of chaos nopony controls, perhaps here I can find what I need. After a few hours hovering around I think I may have finally found what I am looking for, this entire forest is packed full of pretty blue flowers, they're just like me and only want to have fun.
The voices in my head whisper again, and they have such wonderful ideas, I quickly and carefully gather all the flowers I can find together, I grind them and boil them into a potion, but how will I give this special present to everypony? Looking up I see my answer, the cloud machines in cloudsdale. I gather the potion together in one big pot, but it'sso very heavy, I can't fly and carry it. I drill the cauldron full of holes to make it lighter, not like I even need the cauldron at all with the power daddy gave me, much better now, up we go , next stop cloudsdale.
Cloudsdale is so pretty, if only the clouds were made of something fun like marshmallows, but there'll be tome for that later, all the time in the world. First things first though, I need to show daddy all the fun he's missing, remind him who he is. The cloud machine is gettingc closer, but so are those two stupid guards. I reach out into the magic space looking for a solution, bananarang? No too boring, peashooter, nah that's no fun at all, PERFECT the kitchen sink, I pull the plug and the confused guards get sucked down the vortex.The poor sink doesn't much like the taste though and spits them out unconcious.
I reach the edge of the machine ,then suddenly just as I'm about to throw the cauldron is daddy appears beside me laughing “poison joke , you little minx, oh I'd love to see the looks on their faces, and no doubt the joke would be very happy too”. I look at him, begging him, please daddy remember who you are. Daddy looks like he's struggling, like he's making the hardest choice of his life but then he snaps his claws, and the cauldron vanishes.
Sadly daddy looks at me “my child” he said ”I learned something wonderful about chaos with fluttershys help, come with me” .
I follow even though I'm getting really really confused and scared, he leads my to the crystal empire, through 2 huge gates. I look around me this place is like heaven, a huge maze of twisty squirmy, wormy tunnels, in these tunnels are lakes of chocolate, marshmallow monsters, mermonkeys are happily swimming around, and above our heads are flying gummy snakes .
But this is odd, down here nopony seems scared, they all seem to be having fun. “ This is probably confusing, everypony down here chose to come here” said daddy.” Many years ago this place was known as the crystal caverns. They were a nasty place, no fun at all. Now look at them. We have a very special gift, we can stop the world becoming boring. But what fluttershy has shown me that sometimes the greatest use for a special talent is to share it with everypony else, now do you understand my dear?” It only takes a moment for me to think on my answer, I know that words will never do so instead I turn and hug him, he's so smart sometimes , I love my daddy discord.
