An ancient, unknown evil has revealed itself after being hidden for over 1000 years. Ponies corrupted by a mysterious dark force. For unknown reasons they seek to conquer the peaceful land of Equestria.

Leading the charge are the eight champions of shadows. Powerful and merciless, they will do anything to further their own goals. Together they command a vast army of powerful and highly deadly solders.

For the first time in centuries Equestria is going to war. However, the ponies of the once peaceful land will soon learn just how out matched they truly are. For they cannot hope to match the savage brutality of the shadow ponies. While fighting this new enemy the ponies will find out how long their enemy has planned this attack.
