Note: This chapter takes place during the chapter "It's This Friday."

Today was just another Sunday to Rumble. He barely had anything to do today plus he was by himself. His parents were at work while his older brother Thunderlane was at the Wonderbolts Academy. He wishes that his brother was home. He would usually have fun ideas to do with Rumble like tag, hide and seek, and other fun things.

"Oh Celestia, I am so bored." He said to himself. He was laying down in his bed in his room with nothing to do. His room was a little small for size. The walls were colored pale white. It had a desk for homework, a bed, some Wonderbolt posters, and some toys on the floor. The colt also had some comics he already read countless times. He was sorta used to being bored like this because of his working parents and brother.

"It would be nice to have some company though." He said as he grabbed another comic book. This one was about a legendary blue creature that could possibly rival Rainbow Dash in speed, at least to him.

"Ohh I'm so nervous..." Scootaloo said to herself as she was walking a path past Sweet Apple Acres. She had a saddlebag and a nervous look on her face. She kept on walking for quite a while now until she had finally found a brown house.

"Ok.." Scootaloo said then she took a deep breath. "Here goes nothing." She said as she got to the door.

Rumble was so bored out of his mind that he thought he was gonna sleep. But then he got a knock on his door.

"Strange." He said. "I wasn't expecting any visitors today." As he got up and went to his door he was wondering who wanted to see him. He thought it was the mailmare Derpy or maybe his parents got off early, but when he opened the door he was surprised by who it was.

"Sc-Scootaloo?" He said. He was surprised to see her there.

"H-hi Rumble." She said while rethinking her idea to visit him. This was a bad idea. I just know it. She thought. They stared at each other for a good minute until Rumble decided to invited her in.

"So...are you gonna come in or.. "

"Oh..yeah." she said while walking in. Rumble showed her the way into his room.

"So, what gave you the idea to come here today?" Rumble said.

"Well, you told me that you get bored at your house often because your brother is at the academy, so I came for a visit." Scootaloo said not telling him the second reason.

"Right well there isn't much to do other than read some comics or...are you ok?"

"Yeah but I kinda need to use the bathroom. Where is it?" Scootaloo said.

"Two rooms right of my room." Rumble said as Scootaloo walked to his bathroom. While she was in there, Scootaloo was thinking about how to tell her feelings to Rumble.

What should I say? Should I strike up a conversation with him? Or leave now? She was having trouble thinking about what to say. Rumble was also wondering if she likes him or not in his room.

I wonder if she really likes me or not. I always did like her because of her awesome tricks and cuteness but I don't know if she likes me or not. Rumble thought of this for a while until Scootaloo came back in.

"Ok, so now that that's out of the way, what comics do you read? I read about the super fast creature."

"No way! I read those too! Did you read the one with the bald scientist?"

"Or the one with the cool magic boards?" They kept chatting about the comics they read and how many things they have in common and other stuff, most of it being things they had in common for a good period of time until it was time for Scootaloo to go.

"Well this was fun and all but I gotta go now." Scootaloo said while putting her comics away in her saddlebag.

"Do you want me to walk you home?" Rumble questioned. Scootaloo nodded and both of them left for Scootaloo's house.

It was around nighttime and they had kept walking and chatting while walking past Sweet Apple Acres.

"Wow, who knew we had that much in common huh Scoots?"

"Yeah..." Scootaloo said flatly. "Hey um Rumble?"

"Yeah?"

"There was a second reason why I came over to your house."

"Why?"

"Well...I...I..."

"Yeah?"

"I sorta like you."

There was silence and two blushing foals.

Rumble didn't know how to react to Scootaloo's words. He just had a shocked face while blushing. Scootaloo started to look sad and was about to leave.

"I-Im sorry. I think I made a mista-"

"Wait Scootaloo." Rumble said as she looked back. "There's something I need to tell you as well." Scootaloo looked at him with hope in her eyes. Rumble decided that it's now or never.

"I sorta like you too. I always thought you were one of the cutest fillies in the school. Plus you're nice, cool, and like I just said, cute."

Scootaloo was at a loss for words. She was also very happy about it. "Well I always liked you because you're so cool but smart at the same time. I also like your mane. And I...I...love you."

Rumble couldn't believe it.

Scootaloo just told him that she loves him. He was flabbergasted by this for a while until a pair of lips met his for the very first time. It then turned into a hug.

"I love you too Scootaloo."

"We really are alot alike."

"Yeah...we are."

While they shared their moment, Apple Bloom saw this from her room upstairs. Scootaloo took notice of her.

"Rumble? Look." Scootaloo said as They both looked at Apple Bloom's window. Apple Bloom was surprised to see them together and went downstairs to see for herself. Both Rumble and Scootaloo stood still as they saw Apple Bloom come up to them.

"So first Sweetie Belle gets a colt and now you Scootaloo? Wow."

"How long have you seen us Apple Bloom?" Scootaloo said.

"Long enough. I'm proud of you Scootaloo."

"You are?"

"Eeyup." Apple Bloom said. She stared at them for a few "Well I gotta go and I'm pretty sure you two should skedaddle too. You two play nice!" She said while running back to her home.

"We will!" Scootaloo said while waving.

"Let's get you home." Rumble said.

"Okay." They continued their walk to Scootaloo's home, holding wings. Apple Bloom on the other hand was in her room wondering something.

"Can I do it as well?"
