During her time in Canterlot, Sweetie Belle had been living in a room in the castle that looked Sweetie Belle had nothing to do, she had nopony to play with and she was bored to the point where she drew lines on paper for no reason but then, she remembered something Featherweight told her.

"Your voice was so beautiful and cute." she remembered him saying. This made Sweetie Belle wonder if she should try to sing more often.

"I do have a passion for singing." She said to herself. She then started to sing to herself more often and it eventually grew to be a little habit for her but she learned to enjoy it, as well as her family.

She later on decided to tell her coltfriend about how she is by sending a letter to her coltfriend Featherweight.

"Oh how he will love to hear me sing." She said.

It was a Tuesday afternoon and Featherweight just got home from another day of school. And as he walked into his house, he was greeted by his mother Sky Drop.

"Hi Featherweight. How was school?"

"Same as it is."

"Boring?"

"Pretty much but overall it was okay."

"Well a letter came in the mail for you. It's upstairs in your room. It's from your fillyfri- Featherweight?"  Sky Drop said. Featherweight was gone before she could even finish.

"Ahh, young love." She said to herself.

Featherweight ran up the stairs and into his room to find a letter on his bed. And like his mom said, it was from Sweetie Belle. He hastily opened it up and started to read it.

Dear Featherweight

How are things in Ponyville? I'm sure they're fine. As for me, it's not bad here its just that it can be so BORING here. I have absolutely nothing to do and Rarity and my parents have stuff to do for the princesses and I can't help Rarity or my mom and dad because well...I can sometimes get in the way and...well doesn't matter. Because I have nothing better to do, I'm practicing a new thing. Singing. And I sing pretty beautiful like you said. Maybe I might get a cutie mark in singing. Well I gotta practice more. Do you miss me? Because I miss you, but I'm coming back on Thursday afternoon so tell the girls for me please? Thanks! Can't wait to come back home and see your face.

PS: I forgot to tell you that my Birthday is coming up this friday. Sorry if this came a little late but if you can't get me a present then that's ok. All I really want from you is...well I'll let you try to figure that one out.

Featherweight was happy over the fact that Sweetie Belle is trying to find her cutie mark in something she is liking. He went over to the picture of the two of them and smiled. He then grabbed a pencil and paper and started to write back to Sweetie Belle.

Dear Sweetie Belle

I'm glad that you're doing something and enjoying it but I have some good news and some bad news. I guess I'll start with the good news. My best friend Rumble and your best friend Scootaloo became an official couple. That's the first of the good news actually. The second good news is that Silver Spoon is now a friend but the reason why leads up to the bad news. On monday, Diamond Tiara somehow figured out that we're a couple and told Silver Spoon but she also said that she wanted to ruin our relationship because apparently she loves me and thinks that I love her back but that's because the day we first saw each other, she was sitting in front of you so she thought that throughout this whole time, I wanted to be her soulmate and vice versa but obviously, that's not the case. She found out about us being together and all and now she wants our relationship to be ruined and for her to be with me! When Diamond Tiara told Silver Spoon about what she saw and what she was gonna do about it, Silver Spoon did not want to take part in her plan and as a result, Diamond told Silver to get out of her face and the two of them were not friends anymore. Silver Spoon told me, Rumble, and your fellow CMC what happened. She even apologized for all the trouble she caused to you, Apple Bloom, and Scootaloo. Unfortunately for her, Diamond Tiara heard it all and ran off. Afterwards she told us that she lost her only real friend (in this case Diamond Tiara) and that she may never have another friend like her again, we then decided to give her a chance, and became friends with her, and so far, she is enjoying her new friends, and would love for you to accept her apology. I don't know what Diamond Tiara is plotting but so far, she hasn't even attempted to bully anypony so maybe she has finally gave up but me, Rumble, the girls, and Silver Spoon, are watching her because I will never let her harm you in any way! Other then that, I can't wait to see your smiling face when you return!

PS: I sorta knew about your birthday because Apple Bloom told me.

After finishing his letter, Featherweight sealed it in a white envelope with Sweetie Belle's address (for now) and went downstairs to mail it. He then left to inform the girls but not before grabbing Sweetie Belle's letter and informing his parents.

At the CMC clubhouse, Apple Bloom, Silver Spoon, Scootaloo and Rumble were all there just...well...hanging out. Apple Bloom and Silver Spoon were chatting about random stuff and Scootaloo and Rumble were sitting down together reading another comic about  the blue creature. The comic was about his new metal counterpart made by the evil scientist.

"Who do you think is gonna win huh scoots?" Rumble said.

"The blue one of course!" Scootaloo replied.

"They're both blue silly."

"Oh. Right. I mean the real one."

"Umm.....you may wanna be more specific."

"Sh-shut up!" She yelled.

"Hey you know I'm just messing with ya scoots." Rumble replied. Scootaloo replied by kissing him on the cheek. There was a knock on the door.

"It's open." Apple Bloom replied. The door opened to reveal Featherweight.

"Oh hey Featherweight. What are you doing here?" Apple Bloom said.

"Hey AB. I got some news to share with you."

"What?"

"Sweetie Belle wrote me a letter that I got in the mail. It told me how she was doing and that she was practicing singing more. It also told me that she will return on Thursday afternoon."

"Oh cool!" Apple Bloom replied, happy to hear her friend is doing well. Featherweight noticed that Scootaloo and Rumble weren't listening at all and were more interested in each other and the comic. He walked over to try to get their attention but he didn't catch it. Getting an idea, he pulled out an air horn and silently warned Apple Bloom and Silver Spoon to cover their ears. They did so while he pushed the trigger causing a loud piercing sound which caught the attention oh both ponies but not in a friendly way.

"Are you Insane Featherweight!?" Scootaloo yelled while rubbing her ears.

"Yeah dude what's your problem!?" Rumble yelled in agreement.

"Did you hear anything about what I just said?" Featherweight questioned.

"Something about practicing return singing at noon?" Rumble said. Featherweight facehoofed.

"No. Sweetie Belle's been practicing singing and she's coming back on Thursday afternoon." He replied.

"Oh. Well I'm a idiot." Rumble said. Scootaloo giggled at his statement but pecked him on the cheek as an apology.

"Well I see you two are pretty happy together." Featherweight said.

"You bet!" Scootaloo replied.

"So..what cha doin?" He said casually.

"Reading a comic." Rumble said.

"It's about this awesome blue spiky creature who runs super fast and stops this scientist from taking over his world. He has some cool friends like one who's yellow and looks like a fox with two tails and another who's red and strong and has these cool gloves with spiked knuckles. He even has this pink girl who sorta looks like him chasing him in the story." Scootaloo said, stopping for breath.

"Sonic the Hedgehog? Oh yeah I know him. He's been getting pretty popular lately ever since the comics came in about two years ago." Featherweight said.

"Hey guys." Silver Spoon said. Everypony turned their attention to her.

"I read Sonic as well, and look what I found flying around today." Silver Spoon said as she reached in her saddlebag in the corner for something. She then pulled out a folded flyer and unfolded it.

The flyer read "SONIC THE MOVIE" and showed a picture of Sonic, his yellow fox friend, his red friend with a brown hat, the evil scientist, and a metallic creature resembling Sonic.

Scootaloo and Rumble both had their mouth agape while Apple Bloom and Featherweight looked interested.

"Holy Celestia..." Scootaloo said.

"He's getting a movie and we didn't even know..." Rumble added. They then had looks of excitement and started getting very hyped up. Apple Bloom warned them to try to calm down but they couldn't.

"In a little more then a month, it's coming out." Silver Spoon said. Scootaloo and Rumble got even more hyped up, much to Apple Bloom's annoyance.

"Canwehavetheflyer!?" They both said, scaring Silver Spoon.

"Umm...yes?" She said softly. They then hastely took the flyer and returned to their spot to examine it more.

"Wow...you two scare me sometimes." Apple Bloom said.

"You and me both Apple Bloom." Silver Spoon added.

"Ditto." Featherweight added as well. They both got up and left out the door towards the direction of Rumble's house while saying,

"Wegottagonowbye!!!"

"They just keep getting weirder and weirder." Featherweight said.

"I think I should get going home too." Silver Spoon said while putting on her saddlebag and walking out the front door.

"Bye guys!" She said while leaving. Apple Bloom and Featherweight waved back. They were now the only two left in the clubhouse.

"Maybe I should go too." Featherweight said.

"Wait Featherweight. Ah need your help and ah need it now." Apple Bloom said.

"Um, ok. What do you need help with? Homework?"

"No...It's just that...can you promise not to tell anypony what ah'm gonna say to you right now?"

"Um sure. I won't tell anypony. Ok tell me what's the problem."

Outside the clubhouse, a earth pony colt very slightly smaller then the average colt trotted towards the clubhouse. He had multiple brown polka dots on his coat, and had a brown mane similar to Featherweight's.

"Oh, I hope she's here." He said to himself. As he was about to open the door, he heard two voices. One was one he reconized and the other was new to him.

"I hear Apple Bloom and..." He peered to the window and got a look at them. He realized that the other voice was Featherweight. He then listened to their conversation.

"To be honest, ah like him and he's cute but ah'm not sure if he likes me." Apple Bloom said

"Did you try to just talk to him?"

"No..ah'm too nervous."

"Well try to speak to him whenever you have the chance and don't give up. Just do it. By the way, which one do you like? You never said his name."

"...Pi-"

She was interrupted by a knock on the door and when she awnsered it, she fainted but was caught by-

"Oh hey Pipsqueak." Featherweight said. Pipsqueak greeted him back and Apple Bloom was out.

"Apple Bloom...Apple Bloom wake up." Pipsqueak said while slowly shaking her. She then started to wake up.

"Pi...Pipsqueak?" She said softly, getting back on her own hooves.

"Yeah it's me. I came by to ask you something."

"Did you hear anything ah said about...about you?"

"So it was about me." He said to himself "...more or less."

"Yeah...Pipsqueak...ah...-" she couldn't finish her sentence.

"Go on, say it. I know you want too." He said. She then took a deep breath and said,

"Ah love you."

Pipsqueak reacted by going up to her and kissing her on the lips. He then gave her a hug.

"I love you too Apple Bloom. You are the cutest filly my eyes have ever seen.

"And you're one of the bravest colts ah met. After that wholr nightmare night incident a year or two back, ah grew to like you more."

"Well my work here is done. You two be careful now ok?" Featherweight said.

"We will." Pipsqueak said. Featherweight left the clubhouse and the newly found couple.

Two days later

Featherweight was waiting at the station for Sweetie Belle's return from Canterlot. He had not seen her come into school all day and after school, she and her sister Rarity were not at the Carousal Boutique, so he thought that they must still be on the train.

"Oh why is it taking so long?" He said to himself. After fifteen minutes of waiting, the train finally arrived. He surveyed the train to find Sweetie Belle or Rarity. Eventually he finally found her. And waited for her to come out.

Sweetie Belle and Rarity walked out of the train. Rarity looked pretty tired but Sweetie Belle looked fairly decent but was tired as well but not as much as her sister. Sweetie Belle looked around for Featherweight and she eventually found him.

"Sweetie Belle!"

"Featherweight!"

They both ran for each other and when they met, they met with a hug.

"I missed you much." Sweetie Belle said.

"Same here." He replied.

"If you two want to spend the day together, go ahead. I gotta go home and relax for a while." Rarity said to the couple.

"Ok. Hey Sweetie Belle. I got something to show ya back at the CMC clubhouse. Wanna go?"

"Of course." She said. They both walked together, happy to be back together, to the CMC clubhouse. Little did they know that somepony else was following them.
